I love it when I'm looking at the routes being broken down, and ask "so why don't they just bring in the safety to cut off the dig route?".. then Brett shows me why 30 seconds later.
Hey Brett, thanks for featuring me in the outro! It was really cool to meet my favorite content creator in person. I'm so happy for all your success, and I wish nothing but the best in the future. Thank you for all the amazing content you make. We really appreciate it.
Brett we should be thanking you man! You’ve brought life to a community that was pretty stale and toxic, you’re a voice of reason and knowledge in every situation you cover or breakdown and you’re very humble despite being the man who built this community, your hours of research, recording, editing, everything. You deserve this man. Always stay true to yourself and I know I’ll be tuning in for every vid you post.
Along with the offensive play hoodies, could you make some for defenses too? Like different calls that teams had a lot of success with. I think those would come out really cool!
You are amazing Brett! Thank you for making a guy like me who's from a country where American Football isn't well-known or even played much become a huge fan of this beautiful sport. The knowledge you impart in us make us appreciate the game so much more than what's just on the surface. I hope you more success as well Brett. You're the best!
@brett kollman One thing of note as a lions fan: matt stafford has been incredibly lethal at sail concepts pretty much his whole career but in detroit they weren't used enough and focused on the quick game which was maddening. but then you put him in a 2 minute drill and give him some sail routes and levels concepts and he would pick teams apart. we'd always say "where was that all game" back when their carosel of offensive co's were going run, run, 7 yard button hook repeat. god bless mcvay actually knows how to use him.
Thanks for making this wild NFL season that much better with your videos Brett! Always drop everything and get to watching the second I see a new video! You’re the 🐐.
You deserve all your success this year man, quality content. Been a very casual football fan my whole life, and your videos are a great glimpse into the many nuances of the sport. Cheers
That Buster coverage looks really interesting, def seems a useful way to limit the drive route opposite the flood concept, but I'd be alittle concerned with the outside corner dropping the deep reciever to the safety, especially against a team like the rams. If Stafford gets time to throw, I think Wrs like Kupp and OBJ can win that 1 on 1 against the Safety using some savvy route running. Still awesome video, really interesting concept to learn about.
Some sort of option route(s) would probably work well, but those require a ton of practice to ensure the QB and receivers are always making the same decision. Otherwise they lead to a ton of pics. Not something McVay could put in place in 2 weeks.
Big thank you for these videos. Breaking it down to simple enough whit out making it to simple 👍🏽. Great work and please keep it up 😁. Thankfully greetings from Sweden.
This video is so damn amazing, I can’t wrap my head around what made you go and watch Georgia 2018 film out of all possible things to figure out how to stop the Rams flood concepts
Saw the title of the video and thought....curse lifted. I clicked to start the video and an ad with OBJ advertising a ring played before the video. Kollman curse is still in effect.
Hey Brett, can we get a video about the transition to new age football (rise of all the young coaches in the league) you can go over the orgin coaching tree, what we can expect from the future, some of the best candidates and best coaches already) just to name a few but I think that will be an amazing video.

Because if you make the trip, I will do my outmost to do the same and try to meet up.
Quick question how do you think the raiders offense is going to look under Josh McDaniels and also do you think Max Crosby can play standing up as a 3-4 outside linebacker
I think they’ll add more two tight ends sets to get Waller and foster moreau more targets and I think max crosby will take a Joey bosa type role or almost like chandler jones
