How To Take Care Of Your Hair According To Your Hair Porosity Levels

When doing this experiment, ensuring you’re using air dried, freshly washed hair that aren’t styled or have any product on them.
Hair porosity is largely genetic and also dependant on the kind of haircare/treatments/colour you’ve done to the hair. The porosity may change overtime with the right haircare.
⏺️ High Porosity
This is when the hair sinks to the bottom and absorbs moisturise but cannot retain it. Haircare ranges with oils such as the Argan Oil range from @discover.pilgrim and the Extraordinary Oil range from @lorealparis, the Argan Oil one by @lovebeautyandplanet_in or one of my favourites the @cantubeauty Shea butter range or the @palmers olive or coconut one. I recommend using creamy leave ins like the @lorealparis No Haircut Cream or similar ones. The @olaplex range _in is also very effective on this hair type.
⏺️ Low Porosity
This is when your hair floats on top. Hydrating haircare ranges like the @lorealparis Hyaluronic acid range, @mauimoistureindia hibiscus water shampoo @suganda.co clarifying shampoo @moroccanoil_in clarifying shampoo.
⏺️ Medium Porosity
This is also currently my hair type. I use a mix of both sort of products. I do lean more towards high porosity when my hair are severely damaged so the key is to minimise heat, and to damaging semi permanent treatments to maintain this porosity level.

I swear I have been listening influencers mentioning about hair porosity based hair care but then they never explain what it is or how it should impact your hair care routine. They would only give you a link to go buy some guidebook from their websites! This is the first time anyone so kindly explained hair porosity to the point and suddenly it all makes sense, thank you so much!

I began using lityleextra reactivate hair growth serum that has rosemary as my hair had been swiftly falling out due to stress and such. I had been only looking for anything to try, so this had been suggested, thus I decided for it. Within a few days, I saw significantly less hair loss when I brush my hair. Additionally, I noticed where I started getting patches of loss, there had been new growth. It actually irritate my skin a little right on the forehead hairline, thus I use a band to keep it from running down as also maintaining the head tilted back during application. The irritation vanished and hasn't returned, thus if your skin is sensitive or just to be careful, I suggest a hairband to avoid it from running down to your skin. In general, I'm so happy with this serum and will continue to use.
My hair feels thicker, looks healthier, and I'm even seeing new growth along my hairline since the time I started using reactivate hair serum.

While many of influencers are only giving first impression of products you are the only one who gives true reviews.I tried many of your recommendations and everything was bomb for my skin(skincare is subjective.dont get wrong) i have seen many people in comments saying that she only do paid promotions or she is recommending expensive products.Some skincare is so expensive and she is recommending both high end and budget friendly and she is only recommending products that are free of allergens and worth our money.Since skincare is subjective what may work for her may not work for us and what may work for us may not work for her.She is the most genuine influencer i have ever seen.Lots of love for tarini ❤️❤️❤️💕

I did porosity test & it says I have low porosity as my hair floats. But my hair is so dry and the quality of my hair matches with the high porosity. I'm confused

that would be because of the surface tension of the water! you'll have to give the hair strand a small nudge underwater to break the surface tension.
@@explosiveduck.-mine is also dry but when I tried breaking the surface tension it still floated

1 did the test. After 5mins it was still on top but then I pushed it a bit deeper then it stayed there for a moment and then slowly sank down.
