In 2016 I bought a ‘15 versa that was used with less than 4k miles in it. I still own the car to this day with now over 161k miles. Besides general maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake pad changes) I have only had to change the head lights a couple of times. I do have the 5 speed manual so this might account for why the car has been so reliable. I would recommend a versa to anyone who is looking for a cheap reliable car!
I think i would get the manual, keep things simple here. Although, because this car is so simple, the CVT wouldn't be stressed out as much with this engine paring, from what i've heard
Every manufacturer should have a vehicle in this price range/segment. I miss the Chevy Spark. I love affordable small cars. I'd get the 5 speed to save money and future headaches with the CVT.

It seems to me this Nissan Versa is an upmarket version of Dacia Logan(3rd gen), the most affordable new car sold in Europe with prices from 13500 to 17500 euro. At first glance it doesn't seem like, but the windows line and the meeting point of the front panels are remarkably similar. Also Dacia is part of Renault Group which is part of Renault Nissan Mitsubishi alliance.
From someone who actually owns one - GREAT little car. Most of the negative comments you see on here are from folks who have never owned or driven one.
The Versa is much, much better than the antiquated Mirage. I hope Nissan keeps building the Versa. Getting up to speed on the highway is the only reservation I have about this car. I am planning on getting one when I retire.
I got a 2024 Versa (white color) similar to this one, except that mine is an S model with a 5 speed manual transmission and it has 195/65 R15 tires on 15 inch steel wheels.
This is a great, affordable, reliable car that people can use to just sinply get from point a to point b. Coming from a 15yo who is still in high school, might just be my first car.
