It’s so funny watching what is essentially an embarkation day, but without you going on a cruise 😂 Looks like they’ve done such a lovely job of this ship - those rooms are gorgeous!

Our Maiden Voyage could be retitled The Good, The Bad & The Ugly! I agree with you that Queen Anne is a beautiful, light-filled ship and the pool areas, Thermal Spa and the introduction on dedicated Alternative Dining Venues are significant improvements on her 3 older sisters (The Good). The Bad was the absolutely abysmal food service in Britannia Restaurant for both Breakfast & Dinner for the duration of the cruise (under-trained serving staff and a Galley that appeared to be unable to produce hot food on time). The Ugly? Well, the Queen’s Room should be the grand, beating heart of any Cunard ship but on Queen Anne it is more akin to an airport departure lounge in style, the dance floor is too small and the seating is woefully inadequate. The Maiden Voyage was an Experience, with many highlights, but I sincerely hope the issues we encountered are resolved before we sail with her again in August!

I always say I have no interest in maiden voyages or close to maiden voyages since there are usually teething problems somewhere

Thank You Jamie!! Fantastic video! I’m booked to sail on Queen Anne in January 2025 ! It will be her Transatlantic Maiden Voyage to New York City. I can hardly wait! The Queen Anne looks wonderful! I love the beautiful Britannia Dining Room! Gorgeous ! I’ve always dreamed of being on a Cunard Transatlantic maiden voyage since I was a kid. Definitely a bucket list item. Now I’m going to do it!!👍 There have only been about a dozen Cunard maiden voyages since 1907 , so I figured it was now or never! I must say that I am a dye in the wool Cunard fanatic. Love the Queens , all three ! Love Art Deco styling! So the modern style interiors on Queen Anne give me pause to say the least. I don’t care for some of the rooms I’ve seen so far. But maybe they will grow on me when I see them in person?!? I think the Queens Room is borderline ugly! Those round ball light fixtures are straight out of the 1970’s !🙄 I expect to see John Travolta walk around the corner any second 😂 Thanks again for all the wonderful videos and your lovable sense of humour! The Queen Anne looks amazing I can’t wait to board her in a few weeks 👍🏻 quick question I spotted some fab cocktails on the menus for £13:50 can I get them on the drinks package? 🍸🥂🍹
I haven’t yet researched drinks packages I’m afraid - that’ll come later

I am going to be on the Queen Anne in a Club Balcony cabin in January for a cruise from New York to San Francisco. I am really looking forward to it especially after your very nice tour. I think you did the girl proud!

Wow, what a lovely looking ship. We are going on our first cruise ever next weekend (Scarlet Lady) and already have another 2 cruises booked after that (RC Icon and P&O Iona), but this ship and Sun Princess are next to book, definitely 👊🏻🤩🥳

I’ve seen smaller casinos on a ship of this size but I guess time will tell!

As a UK cruise line why is the onboard currency in dollars and not pound sterling? Is it this ship is going to spend all of its time in the us ?
Because it’s owned by the US Carnival corporation plus unlike lines like P&O it’s easy for many living outside the U.K. to book a Cunard cruise - a much more international clientele
how deep is that pool?
Will confirm on ship tour (ie it’s filmed but I haven’t put it together yet)

Great vlog as always. HOWEVER, one quick note. You mentioned there was no deck 13, just like "all of the other Cunard ships". QM2 DOES have a Dexk 13. It can be found on their deck plan, labeled as such, and is accessible by the forward 'A' bank of lifts. The lifts even label the button as '13'. Again, great vlog, and we're excited to to get on board November 2025 (10 nights Spain, Portugal, and Morocco). Cheers.

Always great fun boarding a new ship Jamie.
But was I blown away with the decor ,venues no. To me just another modern ship . As you mentioned in the ending comment before you left your cabin " Queen Anne will appeal to new generations which I agree with.
However the Indian restaurant and the choice of food looked amazing.

Haven’t been on Cunard since the QE2 30 years ago 😮 would love to go on Queen Anne, now I’m more old and refined 😅 As much as I love P&O it’s just superior 🎉

Absolutely a gorgeous ship. I adore Indian food so grateful you chose that dining option. On my first trip to India (Buddhist pilgrimage) I travelled for six weeks and immersed myself into the food. After your dinner, I want to go on the ship just for this restaurant. Thank you for taking the path less traveled. 🫶
