Memories come back when I was 6 years old and went to the cinema and saw the first movie. Born in Visby and still lives on Gotland. Thank you for your review.
I spent a lot of time in Visby. My sister lives there on Gotland. So it was really nice to see familiar places. I have had picnics on that city overlook spot many times. Watching the ships sail into the sunset. Maybe someday I can share it with someone special.
Yeah, that's probably correct. Here in Germany the broadcast was a bit confusing. The films were also split into different parts and broadcast as a series.
That was the case with most Astrid Lindgren movies in Sweden too. They were shown in the cinema first and then released in parts as an extended edition on television.
Why are you so impressed that the wall is there 50 after Pipi. It is 600-800 years old. Visby is not a movie set. But a historic old town. Sorry that the great Swedish people didn't Americanize it for you.
Inger wasn't staring. She was starring. 😉

❤❤❤Yay! More Pippi!❤❤❤ Thank you so much for these videos! I need to find that movie.
I believe the roof on St Nicolai is because there are concerts playing there. The huge "windows" has plexi glass covering them for instance.
So Nice to see❤

So many things wrong...
Some of the scenes that you mentioned was not from the tv series, but from the 1970 movie, pippi on the run (pippi på rymmen)
