I've been looking for a tutorial like this for weeks, if the other parts are as good as part one, then I think I'm finally ready to build decent rail systems.
This is a great explanation of signals. Thanks for making it.
You are welcome
more people need to have tutorials like this I feel like I'm actually being taught by u with your great simplification and demonstration
I'm glad it helped
Amazing, thanks a lot for this. The other Ytbers were complicating it a bit but you instead showed us multiple scenarios that allowed us to learn better.
THANK YOU! Brazil doesn't use trains much, so this isn't intuitive for me.
I was using only road vehicles.
You are a good teacher.
Glad it helps :)
Finally a good visual explanation how new signals works! Thank you so much!
You're very welcome
Note
14:00 The passing lane setup can already deadlock with three trains, no matter how many extra blocks, if three trains end up wanting to cross the same Y junction together from all three directions. So 3 trains on the most basic passing lane setup you showed first is a recipe for problems.
Thanks, that was exactly what I expected to see in this video. The way you have explained it is the best.
Signal is the fun part of open TTD 😁
Nice mic quality! instantly shows its gonna be a good video.
lets just add this to favorites as i will probs need to watch it every time I set up a new line lol!
great explanation tho!
This is the signal I always use
For straight track this is perfectly fine. For junctions, go for the path signal instead.
The original Transport Tycoon only had one signal (two way block). Not even one way block, let alone pre-signal
I wonder how peope make train network back then.
Thanks for an awesome explaination!
thank you very much!

kannst du mir bitte sagen wie/wo/was du es eingestellt hast das wenn du einen Zug anklickst du diese weiß gestichelte Pfad-Linie auf den Gleisen angezeigt bekommst
You can search the settings for vehicle route steps
@@LeutnantJoker thanks for the fast answer. I've change the language to english. But in the settings i cant find "vehicle route steps". will i have to install some addon?
@@sebastianni1621 Its part of the JGR version of the game. Check the video description of one of my latest streams. Sorry for the late answer, I'm in the middle of a move.
Good video

smallest video is 24 minutes!!!
