This must have been offered as a pre-show at this event. A nice display of Beating Retreat with the Massed Pipes & Drums of the National Cadet Force. They enter to the beautiful "Kilworth Hills" and continue with the famous "Bloody Fields of Flanders" Both very appropriate Retreat Tunes which are played in 3/4 time. Then we have a bit of the old style Beat Retreat and "Drummer's Call" which is supposed to be the heart of an event such as this. The display continues with "Skey Boat Song" and then "Balormal,"" The Green Hills of Tyrol" and "Castle Dangerous" All classic retreat tunes intended to be played in this fashion. Well done the lads and lasses of the National Cadet Force Pipes & Drums.
For clarification it's the Army Cadet National Pipes & Drums, joined with members of the RAF Air Cadets Pipes & Drums (they are the ones dressed in blue jackets and the RAF tartan kilt).
