Thank you so much for your kind words! It really means a lot to get comments like this from all over the world. Being a Westener I sometimes take for granted the freedom I have to explore the world. Much blessings to you!
It's absolutely amazing! I heard at least 5 different languages being spoken in just the first 30 minutes! Such diversity and cleanliness makes Chicago the best city in the US.
i've watched tons of these POV city videos and there's something about yours that just brings out the vibrancy of the colors and therefore the realistic portrayal of the subject matter. good stuff.
I used to work for a company based in Kentucky. On one of our free weekends, we made the 6-7 hour drive to spend a day in Chicago. I loved the ambiance of Chicago even though I only had a day to stroll around. The Bean. The walk by the river after Trump Tower. Navy Pier. Downtown with all of the shops. The view from the restaurant/restroom of that building with 100 floors. It was amazing to take in. I hope to come back someday and spend at least a week! Just blessed and grateful I had the chance to explore it even for a day. Thank you for sharing this!
I can understand what where your coming from. I try my best to avoid large crowds, organized events, and generally where it tends to be "people-y." This will be my only way to ever see certain places, around the world. I would love so much to travel and see new sights, but alas this is the next best thing for now. It would be a good idea for V.R., especially for shut In's, and people with health limitations!
I went to America for a month during the summer which i was so lucky to get a chance to do.. and for three days we also went to Chicago. I was there, we took pictures at that bean structure, saw a free concert in this millenium park.. and i can't believe that I am watching this video fo Chicago and I can say I was there and that I recognise where this is.
@Madeleine Grayson Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I've lived here over 60 years, never been a crime victim. It's a great place to live. Sure, there is crime, and it is worse in some areas than others, but don't unduly frighten people who've never been to Chicago. The downtown area in this video is quite safe. Crime happens in small towns, too. And I've *never* met a cop here who encouraged people to arm themselves. Too many guns already. The solution to the problem caused by too many guns is not more guns.
Thank you so much for taking this lovely video. I have ever been there for 5 days in last 5 months. Chicago is one of the best which I visited in the USA. I don't know that when I can be there again. Actually I can recognize all the memories happened there, but your video made that memories alive again. Thank you so much. A comment from Thailand...

Thanks to your for all of this videos, I'm getting closer to what I want. Where I want to go and walk, what to hear and see. Lot of thanks for it.
A little late, but this is so cool. I would walk the magnificent mile every day of the month of July for my internship I was doing at the Northwestern Hospital for my high school. At 23:41 I would always cross that street and make a right to get into the hospital. Especially since 2019 was pretty hot, the walk would make me sweat and once I entered the building, the cool air would hit me that it felt amazing and I would then moments later put on my coat as it was a little chilly in there. Anyway, just cool seeing this. :)
I worked at Northwestern for a couple years and actually was born there. My mom was a chemist there when I was born. Nice reference to the contrast of walking in from the heat and getting that blast of cool air from the pressure the doors maintained. Had a nice flashback from you mentioning it. 🙏🏽
thank you very much for doing this! I just recently moved back to IL (yes, during COVID!) and miss the city sounds so much! This helps my anxiety and calms my mind haha
