MW19 only dies if you let it die. I see all of these comments saying "rip mw2019". The game isn't dead, it's just finally finished with its content. The game is still playable, and is in no way dead. I'm just sick of seeing people play a cod game for a year or two, and the moment the last inkling of content comes out for it, everyone starts screaming "ReSt In PeAcE, yOu WiLl Be MiSsEd." The game didn't go anywhere; you just for some reason feel the need to have a game with 24/7 live service instead of sticking with a game genuinely worth enjoying and is entirely still playable.
i mean its infested with hackers now so whats the point in continuing with the game when vanguard is gonna come out with an anti-cheat. now i dont know if the anti cheat will include mw or not but my guess is it wont. in that case the game will die out unfortunately and it wil be activision's biggest mistake to date.

And if they choose not to, then it's up to the players to keep the fan base alive. Activisions has a toxic corporate model of barfing out a game every year from one of the 3 dev companies. As long as people continue to support that model, then activision will continue to cut support for older games. MW2 is still extremely popular and not nearly as full of hackers as MW2019, but MW3 is dead in the water with minimal hacking issues reported in its lifetime. The game dies if the community lets it die. If people really love MW2019, then they'll continue to play it - despite the chance of hackers being in lobbies. And if Activision see it has more attention than Cold War and Vanguard, then they'll support it too.

I could also say the same for how Black Ops 2 was when ghosts came out, or how MW2 and CoD4 literally are right now. They kept playing them because their successor's multiplayer was ass or just wasn't the same. A lot of people will likely stick with MW2019 because of the sole reason that Vanguard is made by Sledgehammer. And a lot of people will stick with MW2019 and cold war because they may not like the WW2 genre and want to keep it modern or 80s. The only way MW2019 can be usurped is one of two things: 1) I'm misreading the actual "love" people have for MW2019 and they will schill out to another annual CoD game like cattle, or 2) Infinity Ward makes another Modern Warfare game in 2022 that is better than MW2019
I'm still really upset they're just abandoning the game after this. They literally had their best call of duty game (imo) on their hands with massive popularity and activity and now it's just done with. Now we're gonna find out how long before the multiplayer is overrun by hackers/dies.
I still remember this is the first COD game to introduce the gunsmith system, which was my favorite feature. In Gunsmith, you don't just slap in an optic, foregrip, or a muzzle device, but you can also choose barrel types and lengths, stocks, ammo types on magazine slot, and even pistol grip. With that, you can potentially convert a base weapon into one of its variants (i.e AK47 to AKS-74u or RPK, M4A1 to M16A3/A4 or Colt 9mm SMG). Now the Gunsmith spirit lives on to the next COD, i even enjoyed using gunsmith in COD Mobile and i'm very glad they bring it even to the mobile platform.
Activision is a retarded publisher. Not only they end support on CoD games every year or two, but they straight up canceled a great sequel to a great racing game.

So whenever if the developers want to add new features and even update their games, they only get the chance to do it for one year and that's it. For MW however, they didn't let the Infinity Ward to release the final season of the game, and they didn't even want them to focus on one game and have money from each and every new COD game each year. Instead, Infinity Ward decided to release new weapons, and operators in the game. Those things are minor, but they really want to do more for this game, and for us gamers. Screw and Fuck Activision. At some point, they will not be around anymore in gaming. They are some of the worst companies ever. They don't respect the developers and customers. I heard that the COD developers will leave this company and probably be their own independent studio, or join other publishers (Sony, Epic games, Take two, Rockstar, etc).

I’m truly going to miss Modern Warfare 2019. It was one of the best CoD’s we’ve had in recent years. I think with the proper support it could’ve gone on for at least another 2 years.

Well this is the end. Activision pulled the plug on MW2019, ending it's short but sweet lifespan. Thanks to the whole team of animators on the game multible other companies and indie developers will take the insipation of these weapon animation's, thurthering the presence of tactical reload animation's (like Resident Evil 8 or Redy or not, OR Battlefield 2042, not forgeting the COD Cold War). @@iseeyou9488 even if the game is dead, you can still play offline custom games with bots. All of the weapons are unlocked when in custom games. Or alternatively, you can play COD Mobile. It has some MW features into it like Gunsmith, and also MW guns.

Not exactly. It’s more so the light being blocked by the gun so it’s your eyes more so adjusting to the lighting change. You can see the same thing happen with other guns, for example, the pistols early on in the video.
I still play mw and while it has its flaws it was the first cod game in years to have character and something new. I hate how cold war took over warzone because I drop in and pick up and die to guns that are legit toys.
Been learning more about guns recently, and I just realized that when you are equipping the Kar98 you flick the safety off. Just a cool detail that I didn’t notice till now.

I have come to debunk the oil filter adapter theory. My Springfield Armory 1911 has a threaded barrel for a suppressor. I have a found a good handful of oil filters that went right on with ease without any adapter
