Whilst Necromunda goes from strength to strength, personally feel these new rules have just opened new rules to be adopted for the Gorkamorka Community Edition. Really sold on the Squats, not so much the Exo Driller.
The Wasteland Workshop just sold this for me. It reminds me of the build your own vehicle rules from the 1st Chapter Approved book for 3rd edition 40K. Great review, thanks for posting.
I am so excited for this week's pre-orders! I literally bought the book of the outlands and the squats kit in less than two minutes after pre-orders opened lol. Thanks for skimming through the book and getting me even more hyped for next weekend!
The Squat helmets were off for me at the start, but the more I saw them, the more I liked their utilitarian design as they're integrated into the suit making them ill fitting. So if Jeff the Squat eats a Van Saar plasma blast to his face, all they did was scrap him out, then hand the suit to his cousin, Jeffery the Squat. I really love those vehicle rules, lets you make your own Mad Max train/truck caravan.
I'm Orlocking up a rockgrinder just now ready for the book arriving. Orlock heavyweapons all have pintle mounts which I thought was a really cool design feature. Do they fit on any vehicle pintles? No... I will persevere with modifying some mounts with styrene. Also get to dig out a buggy I made from a landspeeder storm many years ago for the older Ash Waste rules. Overall I'm pretty excited for the Outlands book.
So there's no rules for Atalan Jackal bikes, only the Wolfquads? That's annoying I wanted a gang of bikers, guess I'd have to make them all custom light vehicles?
The only reason I can think of the leaders having lower movement is if living ancestors are still a thing. Dwarf psykers and leaders were the oldest in their societies right ?
No-one has made clear yet - long rifles for ash wastes nomads. Are there any numbers restrictions for a starting gang, as there were loads in the starting box
Ash you are killing it for the community. Thank you for all the great work you do. All the best to you.

"All else fails, you can always drive truck" Love the Letter Kenny reference!

I remember them rules.
My orlocks are definitely going to be getting some sentinels now 😋
Buying this. Build my own vehicles in Necromunda? Hell yes.

Looks like a lot a fun to add to Necromunda, really looking forward to getting my hands on my Book of the Outside.
9:02 - Tools of the Trade is specialists only. But that still pretty nice.
Looks like a lot of fun, going to have to try real hard not to order a Ridgehauler on preorder day but I've got too much sitting around to justify it.
can gangers get into vehicles ie is there spots to upgrade vehicals to take passengers?
also can you get motorbikes?
Hail all
The burning question, can I use the vehicle rules playing Gorkamorka?
Can't make out the text on the vehicle pages, wanna read cause I'm too impatient for my pre-order next week.
Do you still need the Ash Wastes rulebook to play in the Ash Wastes if you have this book?

I was thinking that too.
normal motorcycles like the Jackal bikes are apparently just a piece of wargear that makes you count as mounted and gives you the extra movement
Send Spyres, Rides, and Money!
WASTELAND WORKSHOP WOOOOO!!!!!
awesome brother! wish I could get freebies to review. One day hopefully 😊

I got 2 old beastmasters but only got the original necro rats, I'd have loved the others but the ebay prices are through the roof.

@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames Thank you :)
you are one handsome primaris marine! awesome vid!
It makes the book from ash wastes feel a bit redundant. Like they released 2 products really close together with such significant overlap?
Well that book has a full Campaign in it that isn’t present here, but the vehicle rules are pretty important!
Looks like they made the rules in the box for entry level and the expanded rules in this book.
I can live with that.
Not interested in the game but oh boy am I buying a squat box lol
All the rules for vehicles, but the special vehicle damage dice are only in the box set... Why GW?
