  • If you're a fan of narratively driven supplements, the new Campaign book for Necromunda firmly puts the planet into the current 40k timeline. The galaxy is ripped in half and the massive thermal reactors that power the hive cities of Necromunda grind to a halt and cool. When the lights go out, insanity rips across the entire planet. Let's check it out!
Big thanks to GW for the complimentary advance copy of the Book to review.

It'd be really cool if they did a solo campaign setup. Something like a Rangers of Shadowdeep.

Nice about Necromunda books is they have artwork. Not like photos but artworks - even for models in color sections. Let's hope we are back to good old times where codexes and books have more artworks (and good quality ones) not photos of minis only. Nice review as always.

"The TV show, 'Succession' if it were on Necromunda..." yeah, that pretty much sells it for me!

    Hmmm.
    Potential campaign playthrough, Ash?

Lore-wise, this sounds like a descendent of the Inquisitor rule book; filling in background.

Really looking forward to seeing the campaign section and seeing how we can run it in our group. Also the following campaign supplements!

I'm into it. You know me, I love when game tell a story.

I’m beginning to wonder if having a three act story arc like they did with 40k and AoS end of cycle books isn’t a prelude to a new edition

This is the info I needed on the day I needed it. Thanks Ash! 😃 Looks like it might be worth picking up and yeah, a novel would be great.

Love the look of the lore, but I was hoping for more of a set narrative campaign than a new campaign setting. More like the rumoured Stargrave Hope Eternal is going to be.
But I am still hoping to be able to use the books lore to run a linked story game event over a weekend.

Do we need to be into Ash Wastes to play, or would previous editions work. I guess what I am saying is, are vehicles required?

Don't think so but some of the scenarios are probably set outside in the Ash wastes.
