I'm so excited about this one. I've been encouraging people to treat books for this like a role playing game. Use what you want, ignore the rest. It's neat to see them encouraging that approach.
Spyrer-Haera and the malstrain wyrd thingy have had models shown on Warhammer Community. Regarding future campaign settings, GW have hinted at Eye of Selene (the space station). There's flavour text in a lot of the gang books.
Still my favourite GW game. A very loose setting to throw in whatever you want and have some fun. Seems to be a more veteran gamer hangout though as a result.
Man, I'm just so excited for this. I'm a GSC fanboy and seeing Malstrain be written into Necromunda made my day. Been collecting GSC for a couple years now and never got around to painting, now I'm theming my whole army off of the Malstrain I'm painting. The back of my brain is cookin' up a pretty large narrative to go from Necromunda gang fights up to the cults gaining power, then to Combat Patrol and Crusade on through Ascension Day. Of course, that'll take my playgroup probably a decade to play through, so it won't happen, but hey. I'm just happy to have my gross little guys duke it out in Necromunda.
I don't like the look of this particular supplement - never a fan of Spire Hunters - but I do like how GW is supporting Necromunda. It's more akin to Battletech or AD&D than the usual plodding cycle of GW releases (Buy core set. Buy codex. Buy army. Buy new edition) which exhausted my interest in 40K. They should do more of this format.
Finally the Malcadon actually gets a ccw hehe can't wait for the book. Spyrers always started overpowered at the start of a campaign but every one I've seen in one gets outmatched by gangs as they could never get extras. Will be interesting to see how it goes.
I wasn't a fan of Spyrers since the old game and never really liked the old minis either. I really like this new imagining of them and how they fit in the game
So the Malstrain and infected Malstrain gangs are confined in the Underhells, but Spyrers, Spyrer-led house gangs and the Ferrymen can show up in a normal Necromunda campaign?
So Secundus Incursion Gangs are just normal gangs with a Spyrer as their leader ? They have nothing different other than that, like being able to take only champions or they still have to take gangers as the main numbers of it ?
do's that mean that if I take some house gang do I used there profile as leader with upgraded as psycher and champion and ganger plus taking brood scum as will if so escher leader as a psycher wood be great plus taking some malstrain as bruts

It’s very much the style for this book. I’m really happy with it!

It looks like by the time their terror is maxed they’re going to have at 5-6 semi immortal gang fighters… it will
be interesting to see how then play!
Ye, but double activation on each fight is wild ☠️

Question for you Ash buddy: Does the Hive secondus box book have something more that you don't have in this new desolation book?
The rules for the ‘waves’ of simple Malstrain gangs and their associated scenarios using that boxes terrain.
@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames You are the best!

The Spyrer led gangs are underhells only as well I believe.
Malstrain infected gangs are also available everywhere.

Yup! But only in Underhells campaigns!!
Didn’t Kale Jericho get co-opted by the inquisition and then taken to a necron ship.
Even at 1080 it’s unreadable. It is impossible to read what is written in the book
«Great” review
I mean I’m not scanning it to be put up online.
