Same issue! But I’ve gotten lucky! My kids are now crossing over to that age where they are getting into gaming! So more time at the game store… and more money out of my pocket!
I have small kids and my time to play is after 22:30h usually. If I still have energy I play/paint/craft terrain. No gaming group or anything like that for me for a few years!
Very excited I had heard about this but i thought it was simply beefing up the random monsters with a nemesis character in head to head games, didnt realize it was solo content. I love the strides designers are making in solo games which just lowers the barrier to entry so much for these deep cinematic experiences.
Bought 2 books ... a few models ... 6 odd years at this stage and a grand total of ... ZERO games. I played a solo RoSD half campaign. I still LOVE the idea of this game. One day
Joe Shadow of Mordor-ifying Solo Frostgrave is a cool idea, I wonder how much of that idea gets added to the revamped Stargrave: Dead or Alive? And hell yes you and Joe need to collaborate on StreetGrave.
🤔That was my thought exactly as I watching: sounds a bit like the new version of Dead Or Alive that’s coming: that you can bounty hunt but also that you can be the bounty (which sounds amazing).👍 Any chance the Ordo Hereticus will send someone after your =][=, Ash?
Very cool idea, lots of potential for creating some really fun back stories and shenanigans! I do hope you can fit in some more Frostgrave solo games, with a totally not Owen nemesis!
@@JimCrimminsI'd be really interested in a campaign table-top skirmish game of super heroics; with story arcs, secret identity shenanigans, and lasting consequences. Something like the "in between missions" phase from Warhammer Quest; with random tables and unforeseen complications.
I would definitely like a Superhero game that isn't as "sweaty" as MCP is. I just wanted to run around and fight with Juggernaut, not find out his only real usefulness is slowly jogging between to spots until Immortal Hulk annihilates him again.
Nothing this book can throw at you cannot possibly compare to full power Red. She was, in all intents and purposes, a monster. But let’s see if it can get close😁
I'm sensing incoming frostgrave let's plays!!!!!!!
Solo games are top of my lists because all my gaming friends have small children stealing their game time, or moved away.

I really enjoy this game too and introduced my 8 year old into it. She loves it and we play pretty frequently now!

@@jandukanocraft keep the hobby spirit alive, but enjoy your littles. the hobby will be here when they start to become independent.

Joe always creates such good content.

This book sounds like a lot of fun.
Can´t wait to get my copy. Thank you for the review!
Buzz!!!!!! Your Frostgrave playthroughs are the best Ash!
Sounds fantastic. This is a no-brainer purchase.
That sounds so good! I love all the possibilities for who your nemesis could be
Definitely looking forward to playing this. Looking forward to seeing you run a campaign too.
Hoping to see some solo game playthroughs

Agreed. I love having a purpose for my printers. And Frostgrave lets me do that.

Saturday morning review! 👏🏾👏🏾🥳🎊🤩🤩
Interesting
I wonder what the differences are with "Dead or Alive" for Stargrave. It seems so similar.
Please say you will be covering and maybe playing when nightmares come by osprey
Street level super hero game?! Why in the bloody-blue-blazes of Hell has this not happened yet?
I’m working on it
@@GuerrillaMiniatureGamesSuper Cool! The Superhero genre should really lend itself to solo/co-op play.
Marvel Crisis Protocol?

Motivation? Impossible. I’m a total loaf of crap. I completely lack any motivation.
Cool.

Check out Super Skirmish Gaming from Four Color Studios.

I am keen to look at this and modify it for Necromunda. A gang hunted by a group of X x'ers
Is there a site that compiles all of FG or RoSD books/add-ons and what the bring to game?
Board game geek? You never really need more than the rulebook and the one supplement you’ve decided to play typically.
Can you play co-op?
That's great! ♫♪♫♪
