I don't know why but Kurt's music resonates with me so well and he's the reason I got into rock and experimented with other genres (not saying I haven't listened to rock before but I used to think it was for old smelly people). He made me realize rock was more and could be more it just depends on the person, and that it's okay to be yourself. His music is just so amazing and I think in utero was his peak besides the drug abuse because he got to express the music he wanted to make in what he probably considered his fullest potential. I think music would be way different now if kurt didn't die and he would change the scene, I could see so many artists inspired by his work but since his stuff is early nineties most kids don't notice how good his music was. They just think it's old music but it really isn't, he was ahead of his time and he could've changed the whole world and how people view music. So I guess I do believe rock is dead to an extent and not performed how it used to be, all these kids faking they love rock but can't name any songs for their life. I feel like I'm really starting to understand what rock is and was, and hopefully I can start a group/band one day where I can express my music in my OWN way.

If this doesn't play at my funeral I swear I'll come back..
