I always loved about kurt that behind the rough rock monster exterior, the guy in his heart was an intellectual who had more of a love for works of the mind , than the superficial tidal wave that fame brought down on him. What a loss.

Shayne O'Neill it killed him,i have a theory Kurt knew exactly what he was gonna do once superstardom hit.......punk 101 ........your right, how fucking sad,a huge loss, but without the death of the creative force in a band, you won't become a legend,if hed lived would he off faded away like most??? who knows.....27 club.....Kurt was not a nieve person,i don't believe, and I don't really buy the murder angle, saying that Hendrix was (murdered)at 27 Kurt's had the same treatment......imo

as someone who also dropped out..school doesn’t teach you social skills or how to be a wise person. that’s something you learn over time of being a human and going through experiences that make you wiser, some people make mistakes and dont learn from them and a some people do. school only teaches you how to be book smart to go along with your “built in” intelligence.

Kurt is a Kennedy Democrat, same as I was.
He’d never agree with Progressives today, it’s not how we were raised.
Him and me are the same age, we both grew up on the streets, we both know right from wrong, and were sympathetic to good people who get picked on for stupid reasons like the gay thing at the time.
The bottom line is politically we support the working class and good people shouldn’t get messed with for dumb reasons, forget party.

I was lucky enough to see them live at Key Arena in Seattle in 1993, that was a great time for music, I was a teenager just learning how to play guitar, I remember learning the Teen Spirit riff, I never heard anything like that before, a great time to be a teenager and a music fan. It is very interesting to see Kurt look like this. He seems like he is way past his depressive state and drug addiction. To think that he would commit suicide after numerous sources show that he seemed a lot happier, sober and more importantly, living for his daughter and coming to understand what he stood for. I find it so hard to believe that he would take his life, knowing that his daughter needed him, especially after watching so much raw footage of him closer to when he died. It just doesn't make sense.

JF Bruneau The Rome incident was NOT a suicide attempt. You are basically having faith in Courtney and not considering the actual facts and physical evidence. If you saw SIB , explain how the shotgun shell position was inaccurate. You can't use real logic to explain the facts they presented away. They mishandled that case. If you think they handled that case properly you are simply putting faith in a pathological liar. I've been learning about Kurt for 23 years. Everyone blows all his lyrics and his depression way out of proportion. Just like Courtney and some evil people would want you to.

I wouldn’t say enlightened but he saw the world for what it is he’s a genius but most geniuses are tortured souls enlightenment is the same concept as ignorance is bliss kinda

    Great interview.
He was very sincere and cool with her. I didnt know he was so worldly in his scope. Impressive. I gained more respect for kurt from listening to his mind. Rest in power kurt. Much love.!!!☆☆♡♢
