I'm probably the only one in the whole entire universe who hasn't tried this protein treatment yet, but you make it look so easy and your results are popppppin🙌🏾 Definitely giving this a try next weekend, thanks boo!😘
I have a type 2c kinda waves and my hair has been really thin and dry all my life. It was also bleached to white This treatment has done magic.I never thought my hair could get this wavy, also the breakage is not that bad anymore
It usually takes me forever on wash day when I do a protein treatment but I feel like after watching this it'll be a lot quicker. And your hair is a lot thicker and longer than mine so Ik I got this!!!
This was very helpful. I ordered these products this morning but had a feeling there was a special way to apply them. Saved the video to rewatch when it’s time to apply them. I haven’t done a protein treatment since I was a child.🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️😅
That transition was flawless next vid can you make it about how you found out the creams and oils you need for your hair pls love your vids they really help me with my natural hair
Literally JUST did my treatment now i have conditioner & Jamaican black castor oil with a cap on 🤗 UPDATE: I Just chopped it all off and started over again lmao my curls weren’t coming back from the grave
I loved watching and listening to your video because first of all you didn't have an annoying low battery allert from a smoke detector going off in the background and you were so very thorough. Mahalo nui loa from Hawaii ❣️
Yasss, isn't it bomb? It's just as good as the Denman brush, but for a fraction of the price..lol And thanks babe, I sware you're the real MVP✊🏾 The love and positive energy you show me each and every upload definitely does not go unnoticed and is the reason I keep going. Thanks for rocking with me love😘
My daughter had natural curly beautiful hair and a so called friend told her she should do a relaxer for a weave😒 she was hating on my baby poppin curls 😂 but will this help me get her curl pattern back?! She hates she didn't listen to mommy now seeing she was curly for almost 17 years😑
Dang, that's messed up..smh I definitely feel her pain, but she should know mama won't lead you wrong…lol But yeah this will definitely help her curls bounce back along with frequent deep conditioning and protective styling. Just be careful with the protein treatments because too much protein can cause breakage as well. So I wouldn't recommend doing these kind of treatments more than once a month to every other month. I hope this helped love & I wish your daughter the best on her hair journey. Let me know if there are any videos you think might help you guys out!
If she got a relaxer, that hair will not go back to curly. She just has to wait until it grows out. But this protein treatment will help prevent breakage at the line of demarcation between relaxed and natural hair.
Great video. I didn’t buy the bottle but the smaller individual treatment packs they from Sally’s. I’ve never done a true protein treatment so thank you for walking me thru this. I would have never even known to do another deep conditioning after. You just saved my life! Lol
I’ve been seeing such good reviews on this, and I’m gonna try it. I’ve been trying to grow my hair for years, and it’s just now starting to finally grow. I also had a mishap when I had marley twists YEARS ago, and it kind of damaged/thinned out my hair towards the front. That’s growing back too, but I’m trying to speed it up & thicken it again. I’m going to Sally’s tomorrow to buy a sample packet. Hopefully this will be the product to boost my growth. *fingers crossed*
Forget your hair, I was just staring at your face😍 YOU ARE GORGEOUS❗️❗️❗️ I even showed my husband like: “omg, she’s beautiful” and he was like “hell yes”😂 Lol
Lovely video! Did you use the whole 4oz bottle of protein treatment? I cant seem to get that question answered n how much to use..I spray mine on because my hair is so thick and long.
Thanks love, once or twice a month should do the trick. But there are much milder protein treatment that you could use more often called African's best Originals's hair mayonnaise or the Aphoghee 2 minute reconstructor or simple protein deep conditioner like MANUKA HONEY & YOGURT HYDRATE + REPAIR PROTEIN-STRONG TREATMENT. Hope this helps!
I'm told that the benefits are even MORE evident once it actually dries. Did you video that? I saw one young sister do hers and she thought it didn't really work, until it dried and she came back and show us even more definition. Also, did you think about trimming the hair that DID NOT come back after EACH treatment?
I have a ApHogee serious care & protection, but a Two - Step Protein Treatment write on the bottle and I don't know how to use it so I need some help please.
I personally think that would be too much protein so I don't recommend using both...just use one or the other followed by a non protein deep conditioner. Hope this helps!
please do you have to add more oils to hair after deep conditioning? I mean after the protein treatment and the deep conditioning do you just leave your hair and not apply any other product or oils?
Did you deep conditioner your hair twice? One after washing and then after the protein treatment and balancing moisture? Or did you just deep condition once and that was after the balancing moisture last step at the end?
I transitioned for almost 3 years love and recently did my big chop! Feel free to check it out, its up on my channel now🤗 You should definitely give this protein treatment a try too, it's so bomb!😉
Ladies please please be careful and do your own research before attempting a protein treatment. I have the exact same texture as Bella and crazy enough this is the video that made me subscribe because after seeing her results I wanted to achieve the same and went out and bought the products. I even watched her video to see the step by step process but this protein treatment turned my naturally 3c/4a (in the middle of my head) into 4c hair. When my hair was wet it looked just like Bella’s and I was so hyped but then I twisted and let it dry and when I took the twists out my hair was soooo hard and matted. It started shedding when I tried to finger detangle and then I tried a comb and it was way worse. I’ve never experienced anything like this before as I’ve been natural all my life, I did realize that my hair gets dry when I use coconut oil which acts like a protein and that should have been a warning sign but I just thought my hair didn’t like coconut oil and that was that. So please do your own testing on a small piece of hair first because the dread locks that my hair turned into is not fun at all. It’s made me emotional all week as I’m trying to figure out what the hell to do so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
You're hair can't turn from 3c/4a to 4C. Matted and dry does not equal 4C. You probably didn't wash all of it out. And did moisturizer enough afterwards like not washing out a relaxer all the way and not neutralizing it. What's the update in your hair? I'm going to do this treatment soon. Where you able to prepare your hair back cause now I'm scared to try 😩
xshesyourqorqeousxx3 hi at the time of writing this and my level of frustration and a bunch of other emotions I might have exaggerated a bit. While it didn’t exactly change my texture it did leave dry, matted and it was just snapping out of my head like crazy. After a month of trying to get it to go back to the state it was in prior, I bit the bullet and went to my hair dresser. I should have went before but I was too ashamed, anyway she’s been mixing up oils and deep conditioners and I’ve been getting deep conditioning treatments from her to get my hair healthy again and it finally feels like something’s working. One of the oils she’s using is the dr. Miracle intensive spot treatment. I’ve been using on my ends and scalp every few days as well. She also had to cut about 2 inches off my hair so I’m now slightly past shoulder length, which is awkward for me because i haven’t had shoulder length hair since junior high. Anyways if you do try it go to a hair salon, I’m protein sensitive and can’t have a lot of protein in my daily diet so I’m guessing that’s why my hair went haywire, might be different for you but I would still recommend you do it with a professional
NewYorkPrincess22 thank you for the update sis 💕 and I'm glad your hair is doing better. I had a major set back too when my friend straightened my hair and I had severe heat damaged. It looked like I was still transitioning, but once I cut aalll that hair off (like 4+ inches) my hair is doing much better
xshesyourqorqeousxx3 Something I should mention is that my hair is not as thick and full as before. I’ve never had a relaxer so this was the most extreme thing I’ve ever done to my hair. I think I’m going to keep cutting an inch or two off every 6 months or so until I can get it back to where it used to be
My last perm was July 8th, 2018. This transition process is not easy. I have thick hair and I have been using Carols daughter to help with moisture but I feel like its not working. My hair doesn’t feel hard or brittle after using the protein treatment and I don’t put my hair under a dryer,I just put in a plastic cap,am I doing something wrong?
Don't cover your hair with a plastic cap. It even says that in the instructions on the bottle. I don't use heat either, but my hair hardens anyway. Just don't cover it.
I have high porosity hair.... im just wondering if this will work for my hair, can anyone reply before i use it, i dont want anything to happen to my haur
The keratin sinks into the cortex of your hair so the results & strengthen in affect will stay after shampooing but I will suggest using a sulfate free shampoo because it's less stripping:)

North Pittman okay thank you i have been getting sew ins back to back for a couple years and I'm tired of it. I'm natural, but I don't want to wear my hair in fros or puffs I want it to be straight or semi straight most of the time, but without heat damage. I've never had a protein treament, but I purchased the products last week.
just want my hair to go back to the way it was before I found out what a flat iron was 😩😂
lol, it will babe! Just give it time and continue to moisturize that bad boy and you'll be doing hair flips in no time!😜
Aaliyah does it really work? LMK please

This is hands down the best demonstration of the aphogee protein treatment that I've come across yet! The transformation is real😍👏🏾💁🏽
The audio cuts out at 5:33 but it's pretty self explanatory by that point. Thank you for all the helpful tips!

Kitwana Williams do you know if this treatment should be used before or after dying hair?
Teray Lanier I can't speak on permanent hair dye as I don't use them but I would suggest using the treatment prior to. Hope that helps
Kitwana Williams thank you.
Hahaha, your hair really did looked like ramen noodles, crunchy as hell😩😂
thank you my sister did it and hated it but she's not natural
Where did you get your hooded dryer from & the brand please
I have a ApHogee serious care & protection, but a Two - Step Protein Treatment write on the bottle and I don't know how to use it so I need some help please.
I have big microfiber camping towels I use for this kinda thing-- hopefully that helps it not stick
That's cool! Definitely give it a try and let me know how it goes!
Does this help with slight heat damage
Do you apply the treatment on the scalp?
Thank you for this video! Do you shampoo and use regular conditioner before the protein treatment? Or just shampoo?
What if you don’t got the sit down dryers can you just use a regular blow dryer on low without combing it?
Can you dye your hair *semi permanent the same day of doing an Aphogee treatment?
Where did you get your hooded dryer?
How soon after a texturizer can I use this ?
For all the videos I’ve watched..they use the manuka honey deep conditioner from shea moisture...is it a must???
Can I use the aussie 3 minute miracle after to deep condition?
Am i ok to use hair msyonnaise after this as a deep conditioner?

Hi. Is the balancing moisturizer a necessary step? Can I skip that step and go right to using a moisturising deep conditioner?
The two work together. 👍
What's there to know about protein treatments... THOUGHT they were all good?
So you do both steps ? Then do the deep condition ?
Absolutely gorgeous
Thats a nice brush for being from the dollar store!
It's bomb babe, definitely grab one if you can!

Do I have to use the apogee shampoo & conditioner in order for this to work properly
Not really
Nope,it probably does work better if you use the 2nd step because it might turn your hair back to normal easier.
Look who I found on RUclips 😍😍😍😍 miss you spanky!!
Does it dring your curls back in any way? That’s what I’m after

so she washed and deep conditioned her hair before using aphogee?
