EverSoGorgeous does this treatment help stop hair breakage and shedding? If it does I’m thinking about getting it because my hair has been shedding please reply thank you
Shardey Anderson I've used it and it works absolutely wonderful! *DO* *NOT* put a comb through your hair while it dries as the hair is very delicate in that crispy-crunchy state, but overall the product works really well.
You can also put it in a tint bottle as eventually the nozzle gets clogged and sticky in the spray bottles. I find the tint bottle works better! Hint: if you color your hair and there’s a tint bottle inside, don’t throw it away. Reuse, reduce and recycle. ♻️
I saw this video before I bought the sample treatment, and I always think of this before I start. 😂 I went back & bought the big bottles. I’m glad I came across it.. I use it once a month and it’s been so helpful for my hair! Thank you! Also, anyone who might read this.. be careful if you have scratches/open skin. It burns a little bit. I learned the hard way. 😔 So if you have a scratch anywhere on your neck or hands, wear gloves for your hands, and use something like a towel to cover your neck.
@@msdiamondsrforever1you wouldn’t just start taking it down when it dries. Long hair problems don’t allow you to just wear out or down. Shorter hair it’s understandable
omg guys, if you have curly, bleach damaged hair, try this!!! I bleached my hair for the first time to dye it purple and i was so upset to find out i lost almost ALL my curls, and all my ringlets. It turned into stringy, frizzy, dry wavy hair with 3 or 4 random curls. I love the color I love how it looked straight but I was really upset that i lost my natural curls which I just recently learned to love. Fast forward to me finding this product and obsessively watching youtube reviews and finally trying it. My curls are BACK! Practically as tight as they used to be. I've amazed and so happy :)
I used to use ApHogee years ago when my hair would fall out from the roots, but I was scared to try it again. This video gave me the courage to get it done. The tip about using the ApHogee conditioner as a co-wash and then using a deep conditioner at the end is golden. Without it the hair can still be a little hard. Thank you so much for this video.
OMG!!!!! THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH! 😄😄😄😄 This is THE BEST VIDEO that I have seen on how to use this product!!!!!! I've had this product for awhile now and I just tried using it on my daughter and her friend after I dyed their hair in the past couple of weeks. Did you know there are NO DIRECTIONS on the freakin bottle? If there were I sure couldn't find them anywhere! I sooooooooooooo used it wrong and used quite a bit of product and now I have to repurchase it, again. I will use your method going forward. Again, thank you so much for teaching me what to do, PROPERLY. I also loved how you showed the product off. It was clear and easy to see and PAUSE ON! You're the BEST! THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO TOO. It's short, concise and wholly informative. I have "Liked" and "Subscribed" on this video. I can't wait to see more of your content! 😄😘 So, so appreciative........ 😀😊😀😊😀
Years later your video is still the best🙌 Thank you for putting this helpful information out for all of us looking for the answers you’ve provided… For years to come🙏🏾🥰
So I put the stuff in and then I got all worried and thought what if it makes my hair fall out and went to read more comments and then I didn't read your full comment properly and thought you were saying it made your hair fall out so I quickly went and washed it out 😂😅 but honestly it does feel healthier and what's done is done
I’ve been stressing about my hair because I have heat damage on the sides 🤦🏾♀️. Plus I’m still learning what my hair needs. I’m sooooo glad I found this video!
So I use to do this years ago and it worked so good. I had Covid in April of this year, afterwards I had shedding really bad. Then went to dermatologist, was diagnosed with CCCA, (no scaring)so I completely shaved my hair off. So, my doc recommended the steroid injections in my head. I opted out with so many ppl stating how they had lumps in their and the process. So I’m doing a natural process. This is apart of my part of routine and my hair is back and better than ever, there is other steps I take as well.
Exactly what I needed was wondering how long I should have the treatment in my hair, since the package dont say it. Thanks girl u saved me. Nice video, and you are so cute.
Awww thank you!! Special shout-out to my mom for putting braces on me when I was a teenager. I use a whitening toothpaste daily and I also use crest white strips often too💛
I had a nasty, dull, UN-curly 80's type of mess on my hands, like that dog haired chick in blade runner...lookin all static-charged and what not. I followed your routine to a T, and now-we're luscious again. That spray bottle tip, I think, is KEY. I bow to your efficiency and thank you many times for the pro tips *;)
I was super pumped to do this because your hair is amazing but it made my hair course and gave me a ton of breakage. So just heads up. It’s not for everyone.
Hair goals however a little goes a long way with this product it would be very wise to do the balancing moisturizer that comes with set because it replaces what the protein treatments took. This is a two-step treatment system that was specifically designed to use together not separate
I co-washed the treatment out with the balancing moisturizer and then deep conditioned. So I did both steps. Are you saying I should try putting the balancing moisturizer on top of the treatment, THEN rinse? The way that I do it works for me, but I’m always open to suggestions
Thanks SO much for such a detailed vid on how to use this because I always see this product in the stores but was kind of afraid 😳 to try it because I've heard people mention it made there hair hard etc for ☝🏾 and for ✌🏾 I didn't exactly know how to use it🙊... But now? I feel confident to give it a go👍🏾 . Also, I'm on a 3 YEAR NO HEAT JOURNEY 🙌🏾 it's been 1 year 1 month and 12 days 😂 in counting thus far.💃🏽😁
Thank you so much! I just purchased the sample packs and clicked on You Tube and there you were going over the steps. I really needed to see this video; again thank you!
Great routine I also use that same hair mask once. I will be going back to it after seeing your routine. You helped me so much. We have the same hair texture but you have crazy length. I LOVE IT. Maybe I will get there in a year.

The problem with this tutorial is 1 the brushing. You don’t need to at all. My hair would just break off. 2 you cannot take the air drying advise to heart. The active chemical in this product is heat activated so you need to blow dry or add heat somehow.
Lol did you find anything positive or helpful about the video? 1: I brush the product through when it is still soaking wet on my hair… obviously an optional step since YOUR hair would “just break off”. 2: i DO dry the product until it gets hard with a blow dryer. Thank you for watching😊
Yay! I had this is my hair drawer for a while but didnt know how to use it.. I have a sample pack but I may need a few its not enough for my hair lol Thanks!
Hello thx a lot for this stunning video ! I’m about to try this for the first time ! I damaged my beautiful after a first time bleaching them! Never ever again . I do a home made treatment too when I can like using : oils ( avocado peppermint Coconut grappeseed , castor ect …) + aloe Vera / banana / moringa powder . So my question is how often should you do this ? Every 2 weeks ? Once a month ? Thx in advance for your replies . Xoxo
Thx for the video, new subbie! question, when did you use to moisturizer/ balancing portion? did you combine it into the bottle with the treatment or skipped it all together?? It's not clear. I thought it was a two step process.
+summer7honey I use the balancing moisturizer as a co-wash as I'm rinsing the protein treatment out. After everything is completely rinsed out, I deep condition. Thank you so much for watching and subscribing!😊
how often do you do this treatment? when it gets hard it always makes me nervous 😣. The Shea moisture deep condition you used smells amazing how ever I haven't tried it yet.
DaFaBBMiSs3s yeah its definitely intimidating since it's a heavy protein. The hair hardening thing takes some getting used to. I still noticed a little breakage afterwards but I may not have left if in long enough out of fear. But I feel more comfortable now that I've used it. I'm going to use it every 6 weeks.
Hi I have 2 questions. Where did you get that Cape from? What is it called? After applying the protein treatment, how long should I sit under a hooded dryer and should I do so with or without a hair cap on?
Hi! That’s just a Velcro body towel that I got at Target. I wear it like a cape when I’m doing my hair and the Velcro helps it stay in place. After you apply the treatment, you need to sit under the dryer until it’s pretty much dry and feels crunchy to the touch.... and don’t wear a hair cap. You want as much air as possible to get to it so that it’ll dry faster❤️
You could try this on a small patch in the back of your head and see how your hair responds. Or you could try a lighter form of protein treatment and see how that goes and then try the ApHogee one after you know hair responds to the less heavy duty treatment 😊
How often should this be done if you have moisture damaged hair? And then once healthy how often? Can this treatment be done while your hair is in 2 strand twists?
Do you wash the protein treatment first then use the balancing moisturizer or you use them both at the same time? When it’s your very first doing a protein treatment, you wait the 4-6 weeks or you do it weekly?
I shampoo my hair, then apply the protein treatment, then rinse it out with the help of the balancing moisturizer, then deep condition. I don't do this treatment weekly because it will dry my hair out due to protein overload. I do this treatment once every 2-3 months
I've seen a lot of other youtubers use the ApHogee shampoo before the two-step treatment, do you have to do that or can u use any other regular shampoo?
EverSoGorgeous oh God! My mom as just the same mix as yours! Her dad was Portuguese and her mum is a black Congolese, haha both my parents are mixed so my hair are not so soft!😂
My curls are dead at the root after following CG for 3years 😭 I've gone from having 3a/b curls right from the root to not even having 2b waves, desperate to save my curls as I love them so I'm about to try this 2 step treatment 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼x
@@nuejahoutten1392 I wish I knew, I think it's over moisturised 😔😭 I used aphogee 2 step the other day and it's really plumped my hair up and I can't explain it just feels fuller and it's definitely made an impact on Curl definition mainly back and underneath sections..... Roots on sides are still quite straight for my natural hair but I can see a difference 👏 I also think it needs a good trim but we are still in full lockdown in UK and obviously hair Salons are closed 😔🙄 fingers crossed I can save them as I love my curls 💕x
@@rachaelkennedy2134 I'm glad aphogee is working for you! I tried it the other day and I didn't see much of a difference but I think I did it wrong so I'm gonna try in 6 weeks. I had 3b curls and I flat ironed them (which I rarely do) and now my hair is ruined. Its sort of curly but also straight so I wanna cry lol. It'll take time but I'm sure both of us are gonna get our curls back!!
Yes, you have to rinse it out. This is a hard protein treatment. So you leave it on your hair until it dries (I suggest using a blow dryer to expedite the drying process) and becomes hardened on your hair. After it hardens on your hair, you rinse it out REALLY well and then do a deep conditioner or hair mask of your choice. Hope that helps💛
I don't know why I always watch this before doing my protein treatment. It's like listening to "Mama said knock you out" before a big fight.
+Leggs lol!!!! Hilarious!! Thank you for watching!!

I did this! Sitting under the drier now with it on. I said oh lord this reminds me of perm but it’s not too bad. It went away after a couple seconds
I'm so glad you used this correctly. there are some RUclips's that show them placing their hair in buns when they brush the protein in.
+Destined2bGreat I've seen that too. I would think that it would take FOREVER to dry if the hair was clipped in a bun lol
EverSoGorgeous True. And if it dried and you tried to take the buns down when dried your hair could break off.
@@msdiamondsrforever1 haha
I have to put mine in a bun. Otherwise it sticks to my shirt or I'm sitting on my hair
@@msdiamondsrforever1you wouldn’t just start taking it down when it dries. Long hair problems don’t allow you to just wear out or down. Shorter hair it’s understandable

What exactly made your curls go from that to 2b? What products did you use?
@@nuejahoutten1392 I wish I knew, I think it's over moisturised 😔😭 I used aphogee 2 step the other day and it's really plumped my hair up and I can't explain it just feels fuller and it's definitely made an impact on Curl definition mainly back and underneath sections..... Roots on sides are still quite straight for my natural hair but I can see a difference 👏
I also think it needs a good trim but we are still in full lockdown in UK and obviously hair Salons are closed 😔🙄 fingers crossed I can save them as I love my curls 💕x
Great education shared on this !
when you say not for eveybody what do you mean ?
I wish I would’ve watched this before I did mine lol. The protein treatment spilled all out of my hands and got in my eyes lol
Same here lol. I'm going to use a spray bottle next time 😅
You just got a new sub😙
Trying this tonight!
Did you add water to the spray bottle or you only put the protein treatment?
So you do rinse this out, And how long would you recommend leaving it in?
Yes, you have to rinse it out. This is a hard protein treatment. So you leave it on your hair until it dries (I suggest using a blow dryer to expedite the drying process) and becomes hardened on your hair. After it hardens on your hair, you rinse it out REALLY well and then do a deep conditioner or hair mask of your choice. Hope that helps💛
Could I deep condition after I leave the balancing moisturizer in for two minutes and rinse it out?
Great video!
Girl that bottle looked full....how many packets did you use?
What is the name of the deep conditioner you use in your hair after protein treatment
Beautiful hair!!! How long was your hair before going natural?
Can you send link to the hair towel?
can i use the protein, skip the balancing moisturising conditioner and then use a moisturising deep conditioner?
