- I finally get around to building the custom false-wall insert for my incubator. Needless to say, I'm glad I did.

Nice build!
I bought an Rcom chick incubator second hand and building a false ducted wall in the back to circulate air/heat more efficiently was first thing I did.
Prior to the ducted flow the incubator had something like a 3-4 degC delta top to bottom which was unacceptable for the chook eggs.
After building in the ducted cavity and sealing parts of the head of the incubator to force the flow there was virtually no temp diff top to bottom.
Currently kitting out a commercial glass front drinks fridge from scratch as a new incubator.
Thanks for the vid' - hadn't seen the heat tape before - I'm going to have to track some down!!! 👍
Great video! I just finished making a false wall incubator out of a Sub-Zero wine cooler. I thought about the 3 wall idea as well, but since I'm a real beginner and have a clutch coming soon, I wanted to finish it quickly to be sure that I'm ready. I used 2 small DC fans next to each other at the very top and control them with a PWM dimmer. I then tested to find out the lowest possible speed to maintain even temps throughout. In my case about 6V for 2 small (4" I believe) fans ends up keeping temps throughout the cooler within .2 deg and keep air flow to a minimum. I've had thermometers in every corner to test. I put fans next to each other at the top to draw the air in through the false wall and push it out through a slot all the way across the bottom to keep warm air spread out.
Jason thanks for the video
Love the videos u put out
Awesome!
Glad the stickers got to you . Great build.
Awesome video!!!!
Very smart! I'm a refrigeration tradesman every walmart cooler or freezer you've ever seen has a false wall. If you ever have any issues you can cut small slits horizontally to allow airflow to your trouble areas. Much like one of the glass freezers at Walmart it allows consistent air flow and temperature at all levels! But absolutely genius I doubt you have any issues!
Looks really good 🤘
Royal Mail is from the UK
Watsup bro good stuff, interesting idea i am about to build mine and it actually has a false wall and The fan is already behind...
Cool build glad to see it's working so well. Those sensors are awesome. Love your DIYs fun to see.
Happy Valentine's Day 💖
GOD BLESS
It's 2024, how are those heat tape strips still maintaining temp? I have a smaller underrcount freezer that I am repurposing into an incubator and I had been thinking a similar setup, but I will be incubation bird eggs. Great video.
This is a phenomenal idea! Great job! I have the same issue you had before, right now. The bottom shelf is about 1.5degrees cooler.
Great design and execution! The fact that you also have a new born to look after blows my mind. You must not sleep lol. Kudos sir!
Looks incredible!!
Interesting, im a computer fan guy myself.
What boxes do the easy hatch trays fit in , nice build 🤙

@@MorphMixologyReptiles ok thanks 🙏 🥳
Well done sir!
Phenomenal job, brother! Another awesome build!
Thanks bro!
I want this for mine 🤩
Great video have you made any new changes to the incubator
Basically, you made a liner for the incubator. What is its purpose?
Can I get a cut list for the insert? Also, cool bug zapper bro! 🤙
Love it, very interesting and enjoyed watching. But... ive used a giant fridge with 0 fans for years and I have like a 97% hatch rate. 🤷♂️ Another but.... i think im going to build one of these 🤣🤣
What are you using for temperature sensors?
Sensor push sensors
Really enjoying your videos, have learned more than I could have imagined about rodents and reptiles...lol You seems extremely knowledgeable about Ball & Retic pythons. I was quite impressed in your video with Jay Brewers, employees and Zoo, with the amount of information you new about the snakes genes, dominants, co-dominants, recessives, morphs and so on. I'm lucky if I can ID a ball python, a Normal from a Specter or a Ghost from a Hypo or even a Fire Ball from a Normal. Your a talented young man and keep up the wonderful work you do here, guess I better re-think what I'm going to do.
"Its not Bill Nie." haha, that's funny.
We built ours similar to this we only have one fan in the top and f the incubator our air only comes out the bottom
Where did you buy the PVC wall panels from? Thank you
Hello!! How do you control humidity at that size?
What about Govee instead of Sensor Push?
It seems to be a early yr or jus a spoof. Had 2 girls ovulate here & r about 6-8 weeks ahead of normal
That is awesome! Do you think a false wall out of the heavy duty foam boards would yield the same results?
Probably
Do you run the fans 24/7? Or..?
Does the heat index affect the eggs? I have my incubator currently running at 90°F but the heat index says 95.
What is the press and seal used for? Do you have to peel it back and add water?
🙌
What sensors are you using
SensorPush
@@MorphMixologyReptiles
Where can your buy them?
Amazon
@@MorphMixologyReptiles
Are your using the wifi thing to get the sensor push feed to your phone
Why you are away from your house?
Are they the blue and grey color ones?
What's with the custom offsets t-shirt man? I just ordered a set of wheels and wasn't happy with the customer service at all. It's all a call center not even a real active shop
I like the shirts, RUclips content, etc, etc. I have no reason not to like them
@@MorphMixologyReptiles do you have a set of their wheels on your truck?
No I don’t
@@MorphMixologyReptiles just curious man, have a good one
Looks great man
My temps were all over i did a false foam wall small incubator helped a little. Changing thermostat though so it could be the thermostat. Its a cheap one.
