I loved Soul. I think Joe should've become a true mentor. It would've been nice to see a tie in between his teaching career at the beginning and an ending where he basically teaches again but with a brand new mindset and appreciation. I also think becoming a mentor would be a great way to give him a second chance at living without actually bringing him back to life.
Like my favourite part of the original Mulan is the training montage where she tried to go up the pole like Mulan is one of my favourite Disney films because you see how hard Mulan works.
I never expected to enjoy Spies in Disguise, but I actually had a blast watching it - and all the pigeon facts were surprisingly delightful as well, ha! Onward and Soul I very much enjoyed as well. Onward was just a really sweet lil movie, despite not expecting much and Soul... man, Soul was so DEEP yet beautiful, it's probably one of my favorite movies in the recent years. ♥

Mickeys Christmas carol was one of my first introductions to the concept of death. Before that I thought ghosts in games and zombies were just monsters. The scene at the grave yard, with the casket opening like a beast wanting to devour you. Haunted me till I was an adult and had to deal with death in different ways. When I went into my surgery and they had to put me to sleep. One of my last thoughts was Pet laughing. That’s how much that one scene affected me. Hi Critic! I LOVED Pixar Soul. My FAVORITE movie I found this year! I thought the ending was great. I took the ending more as Joe respects the small things in life. Though if Joe did die in the end, I still think that would have been fine! It still showed him appreciate all the little, special moments before he sacrificed his second chance to live to 22. But I guess I’m so used to the ending we got that I love the movie no matter what xD

What do you guys think if they gave the dad in Onward a reason to know Morse code? Like a specific occupation or something. Then Barley would teach it to himself after his dad died and they could communicate? Or is the suspense of getting to talk to their dad at all the whole point of the movie and that doesn’t work? lol
I don’t think that was the problem in my opinion. If you recall most the film advertised an LGBT character which made most people feel akward of the film
What's funny about the LGBT character is despite the advertisement they weren't a huge part of the movie. I saw the movie and I don't remember that character at all. So to say it's a problem wouldn't be correct.
I actually really love my favorite martin I didn't watch the show but I still loved the movie and I really love the humor in this movie one of my favorite scenes is when Christopher starts to fall apart and as the reporter moves his pieces he forgot his head and he just yells "tim does anything in this room strike you as odd" I really love this movie.
I imagine you'll have a lot of questions about Kingdom Hearts, given how complex the story got towards the end. Especially from Birth By Sleep onwards.
@@watchforever1724 yeah pretty much even with "simpler" series think that'll be a case, honestly think there are way more series that are actually convoluted/make the nostalgia critic short circuit but that series could dial it down a bit.(especially the crap that happens to a few characters.)
Have you ever watched Disney’s Whisper: An Elephant’s Tale? I loved it when I was a kid. Haven’t watched it in years so I have no idea if it holds up lol but I remember a scene made me cry 😭 which I think is impressive (if it’s as sad as I remember) It’s a story like homeward bound in the sense they’re using real animals to tell a story but it’s elephants and they have very famous voice actors playing the elephants
One day, maybe talk about the woody woodpecker shows. Not because they're good. Because they're bad and I want to see an actual review on them since it's pretty obscure.
If you liked Phineas and Ferb and wanted more of it you should watch Milo Murphy's Law. It takes place in the same world even in the same Danville, but has another story. Not such loud project as P&F but also good :)
For Disneycember 21 can you at least try to review Mickeys Twice Upon A Christmas (2004) since that was THE Christmas film for me growing up and since you already reviewed Mickeys Once (1999) Back in 2018 the theme that year was the Disney sequels
I do have to say that Disney truly did not care about Artemis at all. As a fan of the books I was excited to finally see a movie adaptation but when it finally came out. It was a major let down especially after I learned they were combining the first two books & part of the third book. I get it's an adaptation so some of the themes such as the Russian Mafia being the ones who kidnap Artemis's father couldn't work but they full on botched this. The dynamic between Root & Holly is completely lost because now Holly isn't the only female police officer on the force. Which could have worked but they kept the same original dynamic so now it doesn't really work. We get told Artemis is a genius without actually seeming anything. I mean in the first few pages of the first book he figures out who his contact is, tricks a fairy into showing him their sacred book & decodes the fairy language on his own. But in the movie no he's just this wide eyed safe generic kid who happens to find out his father is protecting this underground world of fairies. At the end he says he's a criminal mastermind but I don't believe it. He goes from kidnapping Holly to nope let's be friends to steal this completely made up thing (for the movie) that we constantly have to remind the audience about. Also they of course had to kill off the mom. U know the thing that showed that even though Artemis was doing these bad things like kidnapping people to hold them for ransom he still had some semblance of humanity to him. And they're called L.E.P.R.C.O.N (Lower Element Police Recon) but no they had to botch even something as simple as that. If u want to actually get into the mind of a 12 year old criminal mastermind pls just read the books. They are way better than this dumpster fire Disney put out & I'm sorry Eoin Colfer (The author of the books) & the actors had to be linked to such a misunderstood trash film

I guess one of the reasons they didn't "let" Joe die in Soul is not to let people see Death as a way out... The ideas of this movie are stepping in very delicate topics. So those viewers who are depressed while watching this movie might would be... confused, and some would judge Disney. It may sound silly but still Disney just wouldn't take such a risk.
