I'd imagine the views presented by the RUclips API are what are also used to show end users. All of the view fudging and aggregation will happen in the background before it's presented anywhere.
It depends, you can give them the title if you give it before it updates. And does it matter? No. You can search “This video has views - Tom Scott”. Or send the link
