    I love this video! I’ve been a supplement experimenter for years.... I swear by vitamin d3 and k2- I also take 5000 it’s everyday and used to take 10,000 it’s for several years- I’ve been taking it nearly every day for 12 years- the first thing that happened was a couple days after I started on the higher dosage I was able to finally go off my allergy medicine that I’d been dependent on to function daily for a decade, in the twelve years I’ve been taking it I rarely get sick and have never once had a fever.... I have a suspicion that it helped me not get covid when my family and boyfriend got it - it’s just anecdotal though....lately I’ve started taking berberine and choline for help with metabolic syndrome/ fatty liver and I’ve also added l glutamine since I have leaky gut so want to repair my intestinal walls.... hopefully they will work for their purpose as good as the d3 worked for me!!

    Thanks for sharing. I take a lot of supplements but am awful about doing it consistently. Most of the ones I take are for a healthy immunity.
    Have you ever tried Progessence + from Young Living? I do not sell it, but my older sister had hot flashes like you described and they mostly stopped after she started using it. I started using it ( a drop on each side of my neck and on my wrists morning and night) before I started going through menopause. I used it for several years and NEVER had a hot flash. I am post menopausal for about 5 years now(I am 58). I swear by this stuff. Each bottle lasted me almost a year. It is the only YL oil I have used even though I do use other EOs, but would highly recommend it.

    You're skin is glowing 👏. I personally take DIM for controlling my estrogen level, for weight loss and for those annoying cellulites. Beauty of motherhood 🙄. I do not know is it because of DIM or my workout but my cellulites especially the ones on my thighs are much better. I also take liver detox and vit D to help with my depression. Xx

      Thank you Milli! Wow that's awesome it helps your cellulite. I wish it helped mine LOL. But I had cellulite even when I was young and only 100 pounds.... and in sports so mine is probably more genetic. But then again, all the croissants I've been eating probably doesn't help. 🤪 Yes Vit D is so good for depression. I've had some people tell me they were able to stop taking their anti depression meds after finding out they just had super low D levels.

    Thank you for sharing! I take balance of nature supplement which is ten servings of fruits and vegetables a day. I have been taking it since 2014 everyday and it is my go to. They really help with my energy and my sleep. I also take collagen, vitamin C, and a multi vitamin that is geared towards women over 40. Hi Jane, you can just mix it with water but it's pretty gross if you aren't used to that flavor. I'm used to it so I can easily drink it. But it's best blended into a smoothie or juice (especially fresh pineapple juice) to help mask the flavor.

    • @GracefulBeautyWithSheri
      @GracefulBeautyWithSheri  2 года назад

      Hey friend! Green Vibrance is pricey. Sometimes I can get it on sale when I get a coupon at a vitamin store. But it is really worth it for use to keep taking it. Ok I can do that. Honestly I don't do anything special with my color. It's just box coloring but I can share how I do it in a future video. Recovery is great. I didn't bring mine with me since it was too heavy to put in my suitcases. I don't take it for volume loss though. My cheeks are fat enough LOL but it's fantastic as a prebiotic. It has fantastic reviews for volume loss though, you just have to invest in a lot of bottles (I think 7) and be very consistent and take as directed to see the results. But I've even heard people say I t helps with under eye hollows so I may try to do the whole protocol for that when I return to see if it can help with mine.

      Hi Lynsey. I mix it with water usually. Or I add to a smoothie. No specific recipe, just whatever we have in the house. But I like spinach or kale, celery, pineapple, ginger, beet, flax and half a really ripe banana. Super ripe banana and pineapple help mask the flavor really well if you don't like that wheatgrass taste.

    Ohhh and just curious if there is any other powder you would reccomend similar to the green vibrance or is this one pretty much one of the best? I'm Canadian so it's a little pricey to order
    I do take zinc, magnesium & vitamin d drops from my natural pathic dr

    I have big issues with sleep, lack of energy and motivation.. and going #2, if I don't take my fiber, sometimes I need to add 2 magnesium citrate supplements, but I have to be careful, otherwise.. you know what can hit the fan, literally!! It's tricky finding the right formula!!

      LOL I had to google translate the last part. My Spanish is so basic. haha! But enough to get around. And if all else fails...grab the hubby to translate. You need to get some DC1's trust me I've been using them since I was a teenager. My dad had a colonoscopy and the Dr said he had the absolute cleanest color he had ever seen. My whole family uses them. The lack of sleep, lack of energy, etc could be from the gut. Well most every health issue starts the gut so getting that crap out (literally) makes a huge difference. LOL Once you get your gut on track you will feel amazing. If you go to the Mrs HSU website, it will teach you so much about gut health. So much great info, It will change your life. 🤗

      Hi Mary, I often just mix the powder with water. But it is kind of icky like that. If I make a smoothie in the Vitamix I add, Kale or spinach, pineapple, celery, beet, ginger, flax seed, and about half a really ripe banana. The ripe banana and pineapple mask the flavor quite well. But really I just add whatever we have fresh. I'm used to that wheatgrass-ey flavor now. But my sister could only drink It mixed with pineapple. Or if I make a drink in the juicer, we do beets and the leaves and stems, ginger, celery, carrot, cucumber and green apple. Hope that helps.

      Agreed. And if you're taking prescription medications put a 1 to 2 hours window between them and supplements. They tend to "take up the space" and block absorption of your medications. Same with antacids, well known to block vitamin absorption; and certain vitamins i.e. iron and Bs, need the gastric acid level to absorb.

    Hi, how did you learn that you were estrogen dominant? I, too, have melamsa and have been acne prone my whole life. My acne doesn't knly pop up on the chim/jawline though. I'd love to try the Estro Block but do worry if I am.not estrogen dominant if that would be a mistake to take it. I have had my hormone levels tested at the gyno a couple of times and they tell me they're normal. Thank you!

    • @GracefulBeautyWithSheri
      @GracefulBeautyWithSheri  Год назад +1

      Hi there, there's a specific time in your cycle they do the testing. It's been so many years since I've had mine tested. But even if you took estroblock pro and liv detox, you'd know pretty quickly if it worked. I also heard the Dr., Nick Delgado who created these mention that more women are estrogen dominant anyways...especially of they have acne.. It doesn't mean you have high estrogen, it just means the estrogen is more dominant than the progesterone so your levels can still be normal but estrogen can be more dominant that may not show in regular testing and can also have outside factors "mimicking" estrogen making it more dominant. Things like touching receipt paper or eating out of plastic or drinking out of plastic water bottles or using plastic wrap or eating non organic fruits and veggies, non organic and hormone free meats, using fragrance in our skincare, laundry or glade plug ins and candles are full of the toxins that mimic our hormones and make our body be estrogen dominant. Also eating non organic soy or tofu can make estrogen dominant. So usually that's what the triggers are...even when our own hormones are normal. So estroblock pro and liv dtox won't mess with our own hormones, it will get rid of the fake toxins mimicking our estrogen (called xenoestrogens) and that's what gets rid of my chin, jaw and neck acne. I also have to avoid dairy. Cows are milked at the time when their estrogen levels are at the highest and even organic milk is loaded with estrogen.But you have to take either the liv tox or a milk thistleliver supplement with estroblock pro and must have a good poop schedule (LOL gross but super impprtant)or increase your natural fiber and hydration otherwise those fake estrogen toxins just get recirculated back in your body and cause even more acne. Melasma is a tough one and has to be tackled internally and externally. Daily sunscreen is a must and daily topical tyrosinase blockers are a must to stop that extra splotchy pigment from forming. But typically gals with melasma (not hyperpigmentation)but actual melasma are estrogen dominant. It's mostly a hormonal thing we were blessed with LOL it can be managed but for many of us, it's difficult to ever go away. For some who only get it during pregnancy, it goes away...but I've never been pregnant and I have it so mine is a battle but I've learned to manage it. Also stay away from med spas or Dermatologist offices who don't specialize in actual melasma. Some try to treat it like regular hyperpigmentation and they will ruin your skin permanently. Ok my fingers hurt from writing all this now. LOL hope that helps. I have LOTS more videos on this topic if you want to check them out. I'm happy to send you the links. I'm not an expert at all. But being 50 years old and doing so much research and testing everything out there, I just know what works for me. 💜 let me know if I can help.

However a good multi vitamin could probably do the same. But definitely ask your Dr 1st since taking high levels of Biotin like that can cause false thyroid readings. I don't think it's a bad product at all though, but I don't like high doses of Biotin. 🤗

    How long do you need to take DHT blocker before you see results?

    • @GracefulBeautyWithSheri
      @GracefulBeautyWithSheri  Год назад

      I'm not real sure. I suppose it depends on the actual supplement, along with the person's diet. I can't remember how long till I saw results to be honest. With many of my supplements, I don't see results for maybe 3 months. However with my Estroblock and Liv Dtox, I saw results super fast.

    I have melasma on my cheeks unfortunately. How do you incorporate these supplements on a daily basis, which ones can or do you take together?

    • @GracefulBeautyWithSheri
      @GracefulBeautyWithSheri  2 года назад +1

      Melasma is definitely tough but can be managed. I would talk to your Dr 1st to know what's best for your melasma. But I take glutathione, Nac and Heliocare (or Isdin) in the morning before I eat. Then the 9 others I take with a meal in the afternoon and magnesium at night. But definitely see what your Dr suggests you take. There are many different treatments for melasma. Don't forget your SPF everyday. That's the most important 🤗

    Like you I take a few supplements. One I don't hear much about is horsetail. I researched and started taking 20 years ago for skin and hair. Interesting, what I researched 20 years ago I can attest to is true but I don't see those scientific papers now. I read a side effect is the hair won't go gray which I didn't care because I was younger. Now I am well well within the age range for gray hair and I have very few. Like 6. Probably because I stopped for a few months until I saw was was happening and started again lol.
    Edit to add no crow's feet either.

      Wow that is so interesting, I am in my early 50’s and have far more grey hair than my neighbour who is in her 80’s 😫
      There is a history of premature greying on both sides of my family tree and I have been told there is nothing I can do about it.
      Do you think there is a chance that if I started taking horsetail now it would slow down or even halt the rate at which I am greying? Obviously not hoping for reversal but slowing they greys down would be so awesome!!!

      @@nataliemarshall7158 I don't know. I can say my experience is as natural shedding goes it seems some gray fall, it comes back dark - because I've had a few more grays than now. When I've taken a close look, I have seen a dark root on gray hair. Now I don't know if that is dependent on the fact I've been taking so long 🤔
      Also please understand the grass is not always greener. For me, I sometimes feel self conscious at my age with full dark hair. Wigs call my color #2. While I have a lot of hair, I tend to wear wigs solely for lighter brown-blonde family because I don't want to be the older lady with ("dyed" dark hair). I keep taking because I feel it helps my skin (long-term, pls hear that).
      My low gray count is 💯 accidental

    I’m on my second bottle of the Osmosis Reginerate and so far I notice nothing. I bought on the recommendation of Briana Stanko and I feel like a sucker out of $185. I’m wondering if people rave about it because they spent $90 and want to believe it’s doing something.

    • @GracefulBeautyWithSheri
      @GracefulBeautyWithSheri  2 года назад +1

      If you're taking it for a specific skin concern, I would contact Osmosis directly because unfortunately just 2 bottles won't fix many skin issues 😫 and many people have to take 6 a day every day to see the results. It works great for me...but probably for other reasons you aren't using it for??? All beef liver extract is expensive but out of all I've tried, this one works the best for me.I wish it wasn't so pricey. I'm not sure if people say it works for them because they just want it to work due to the price. But you know just like all things, they don't work for everyone. Maybe look up organic beef liver supplements and see if you can find one that works for you. But again it depends on what you're taking it for...if it's for melasma or spots, 2 bottles definitely won't show results unfortunately. Also check with a natural Dr and get some labs done and see what they think could work best for you. This might not even be something your body is needing. Thats the crappy thing about supplements....we just don't know what will work and some things take FOREVER to see results. Also I don't follow her BUT I wouldn't listen to me or any other youtubers LOL....watch these vids for fun...but always get your best advice from your Dr directly. Hope that helps.

      @@GracefulBeautyWithSheri thank you for your response 😊. To be honest, I’m not taking them for any specific reason. She raves about them for the skin (she also sells them.) I looked up beef liver on Amazon and got suckered in by all the rave reviews… more energy, mental clarity, yada yada. I want all of those things to so I keep buying supplements and I unlike all of the other 1000’s of reviewers, I rarely notice anything. I should def see a naturopath.

    • @GracefulBeautyWithSheri
      @GracefulBeautyWithSheri  2 года назад

      @@SunxSurfxSand yes definitely see a Dr who specializes. Often times supplements won't work if your body doesn't need it (such as biotin) or you may have to detox the liver 1st or work on gut health 1st for certain supplements to even work. There may be absorption issues or also if you take other medications or other supplements that can also block the results. For example, if you take a prObiotic with Osmosis Recovery, Recovery won't work as well. So some things can't be mixed to see the full benefit. Keep me posted if you see a Naturopath and find something that works for ya. Best of wishes!
