Hello! I have recently launched my own website www.jacobtoddson.com that has a list of events that I am running/assisting over the next few months! I have also created a new line of merchandise called "Ancient Ways, Today" focused on historical designs from around the world.
This channel and it's content is only possible through the support of you amazing viewers and supporters of my work 🙏 It's just me behind the camera, so any support is always appreciated, even if it is just a comment and a like.
Thank you! And I hope to see you at a retreat in the future.

Agree, this year's festival was pathetic. Some guy blubbering through a PA system on end. Followed by a fireworks. Commercialized nonsense, probably to justify the eur 60 ticket prize for the afternoon.

@@fieldagentryan What are you talking about?
I am talking about the commercialization of what used to be a good gathering. While I appreciate David is probably paying insurance premiums through his nose, those people who attended over the years don't need the "extra" offerings. Who wants signs along the road saying "No campers, bno vans"?
This used to be a truly spiritual event, peaking in the Fire Eye 2013.
Where is the Ring of Fire now?
I prefer Uisneach in the olden days when you could go up the hill and just enjoy it. Now you have to book a tour on Saturdays in the summer months only.
What started off as a pagean-ish gathering has become another tickbox on the festival circuit.

RE: snuffing out the fires the day before Beltaine sounds a lot like what we Cherokee do for the Great New Moon, the first new moon after the autumn equinox. All fires were put out, all torn and broken things thrown into pits to be burned later, and everything was cleaned and repaired from homes to out buildings as well as the Council Lodge and the temple lodges. All adults fasted the entire day and everyone prepared for the ritual that began when the last light of day left the sky. New clothes were donned, hair was oiled and braided, faces and bodies painted, and gifts prepared to be given. The people gathered as the sun went down, staying silent while waiting for that last bit of twilight. Once it had and the priests had made the opening prayers, they lit a great sacred fire from which every family took a brand in order to start their hearth fires back up. After prayers and offerings had been made for the coming year (it is our New Year), the people danced and feasted, often until dawn. Some of us still follow these ways, but often very quietly because for a long time our traditional beliefs were outlawed by the government and those caught practicing them were punished harshly.

Mossy Earth and Planet Wild are partnering with local nonprofits to re-wild parts of England and Scotland. It would be nice if they moved on to Ireland, but somebody within the country needs to start a re-wilding effort!

Rewilding? Ireland already does multiple rewilding projects!!
The Irish Wildcat Reintroduction: This project aims to reintroduce the European wildcat, a native predator that was extirpated from Ireland centuries ago. The reintroduction is still in the planning and research stages.
Reintroduction of White-tailed Eagles: The white-tailed eagle, once extinct in Ireland, has been successfully reintroduced. This project, started in 2007, has seen eagles brought from Norway to Ireland, with a growing population now established.
The Wild Nephin Project: This initiative in County Mayo involves allowing natural processes to take place with minimal human intervention, fostering the return of native flora and fauna
.Rewilding the Burren: The Burren, a unique karst landscape, is another focus area where efforts are being made to enhance biodiversity through sustainable land management practices.
The Irish Natural Capital Forum and Local Rewilding Groups: Various local organizations and forums are promoting rewilding through education, habitat restoration, and the creation of wildlife corridors.
These are just sections of a much bigger rewilding project for the country.

I need advice. A few times when driving a hawk flew in front low to my car. I woke one morning thinking bout odin out of nowhere and I was in a fb room for rh neg cause I'm rh neg and said nothing about norse an someone said I'm a daughter of odin. I was pagan for 20 years and was close to celtic path but also liked Greeks gods but I am Irish and Scandinavian and I have alot of paranormal spiritual experiences. My aunt died at birth ans was born with a veil and I never knew about her till she came to me in a dream. Granny took me to her grave and I hut her box with flowers wind blew and I said she's here and granny and I looked at sky and a light orb came down from sky and flew sound and stopped in mid air next to me then shot into my chest. WE never figured out what that was ans I can find anyone else who experienced that. I do love Jesus but I'm lesbian and im drawn to norse. I just need some advice plz. I'm also German and coptic Egyptian

Too bad they did not let you dance around the fire like our ancestors did. Irish people are the Incas as they came from Ireland and wemt to Peru. They used an alphabet called Ogham but then the Petivian people founded our civilization we created and they used the alphabet Quill. They were in Peru for only only about one hundred years but we're in Ireland 700 years before they were in Peru. They found Inca doors built into the Monasteries all over Ireland more than a 1000 years old. So much older thsn Peru. But civilization started in Ireland 300,000 years ago. The oldest axe in the world was found in Ireland.

Hey I'm asking this as a newish pagan, I have been learning about different gods and pantheons for 3+ years now and have always felt the pull of the norse. Whenever I'd stray and go after another which I had no pull to I'd be pulled back to the norse (well germanic). And I've decided on follow this path onward I've already got the books (have for awhile) and now I am looking to aquire idols of the gods and cannot find them that won't cost me an arm and a leg, so if anyone has any info to help me it would be appreciated.
