Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin was conferred the title of succession as the next dai by his predecessor 52nd dai Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin several times by Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin himself in his life time including witnesses and also written and signed document by Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin himself where he stated that his second son Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin would succeed as the next dai after him.
