I have the printer and love it. The ease of use is great and I like that it preforms it's own maintenance. I have used it to print images for tee shirts and mugs so far. I have also used the legal size paper 8x14.
Really want to buy this printer, but the price on ink ,wow. How many prints you think you can get out of them ? . I know it depends, but more or less ?
I thought the same thing but it is so worth it with how the Epsons clog after no use in a week! So many issues with Epson that I took the splurge and bought the Brother. @@dhernandez1679
Lucky you! I can't get my hands on one. So expensive! especially when paying for my sons college. One day I will have a DTF printer, someday.... In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy your videos and put it out in the universe! Love your content! Blessings.
It's very pretty, I'm loving the bright color graphics on it .I'm a bright color fiend . Having 2 sub printers with max sz 8.5X11, I definitely need larger. The colors came out very vibrant. Great Video.
I just got one this week, ready to hook it up, and ready to throw my epson off a bridge lol. I have looked around hut not seeing anything, I prefer Cosmos ink, have you seen anything about refilling these cartridges? Also. Joann has the ink cartridges for purchase. And the 50% off coupon works on them
Thank you for your perspective on this printer .My friend was looking to purchase this sublimation printer, it was some great information you shared and yes the colors were so vibrant. Thank you again.
I have a mirrored image but when I print on the Brother printer it won’t print mirrored. 🤷♀️ just got it today. I am printing from a PC, do you know why it won’t print correctly?
$143 for 4 color pk. vs about $116 for Hippo (4) ink bottles which have many × the amount of ink in the cartridges. I was so stoked for this brother until my friend brought the ink price up... HAVE to use Brother cartridges or warranty is voided. Do the cartridges use less ink??
I have a question hopfully u c and answer. After alot of research watching your videos ect. I invested in my 1st sublimation printer. I cannot get it to print the size I 1. NEED 2 I TELL it to. Artspira was very limited in editing so I just went with photoshop I went in told it to resize to 4" it auto set the other at I think 7.3 which was almost on the dot what I wanted. Still didn't work. Then emailed the edited version to myself since I can't get Artspira to download on my laptop. STILL printed same size. All 3 are more like kid T-Shirt size. I WANT a toddler cup size I have. HELP!!! What silly thing am I doing wrong lol

the only thing is that if something goes wrong with the Brother, you can use the warranty. The Epsons (minus the f170) does not have a warranty when sublimation ink is placed in it.
@@CraftableThings i did mention it earlier but I'm printing on aluminum. i just did experimenting and the images still don't look as vibrant as they do on my phone. They are very washed out like an old tv. I just ran the same sheet of paper through to get printed on twice and after stamping it the quality was extremely vivid and just as good as on my phone. Is there a way to increase how much ink it outputs? Or is it still just user error. Originally i was stamping at 370°f for 80 seconds then tried 400°f for 30 or 60 seconds. The result was the same faded look if i didn't double print.

I like the new sublimation printer and design Christmas image. It looks beautiful on that shirt and it turned out great. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much!
Beautiful outcome!

I just bought one, so excited! I got tired of getting lines in my images and ink drying up in my Epson from not using it in a week!
How did I miss this video. Typed in Brother Sublimation and there’s my Gnomie😆💪🏾
I really like it!!! The colors are great
The shirt came out beautiful
thank you!
My first sublimation. I love it.
Is still a good printer?
Enjoy your tutorial
I do have a question. Can you do an example of the dtf sublimation hack? Thanks in advance
Hello my tray will not close.
Patrice is this printer easier to use than the SawGrass? SawGrass ink is more expensive. I have SawGrass and the Epson Ecotank
It is very easy to use.
Good evening Patrice. Here watching your video.
thanks for watching, Donzell!
Lol I'm buying another one this Friday lol. Like I need another one
can you use a black or dark shirt as well?
Can i use Illustrator the same way for the epson 8550, or do i have to buy Rip software?
The printer has a "mirror" option to check or uncheck in its dialog box. I keep it checked so I don't have to mirror my project in my design software.
thank you!
Hello can u download multiple images on one sheet basically to get your money worth out of the paper pls reply when u get time 💕
I have a mirrored image but when I print on the Brother printer it won’t print mirrored. 🤷♀️ just got it today. I am printing from a PC, do you know why it won’t print correctly?
The printer Automatically Mirrors everything for you, so don’t mirror it before hand 😃
What types of blanks do you use? I tried 100% poly but it's super thin although ppl said it was the thickest they've used
I LOVE IT ❤ TY FOR THE VIDEO 😄
Can sublimation be printed on Black wear?
Hope Hippo makes ink for this printer. $39 for just 1 cartridge is kinda pricey no matter how you look at it.
Joann has them. You can use the 50% coupon if its a little cheaper. I would prefer to refill with my own ink though, Cosmos is the best

Hi Craftable Things great info😊
JVJV 💕💕 thanks for watching!
Can you print documents on this printer?
If I was going to do 8.5 wide I would consider this or f170
yeah...they're the same price.
This printer does 8x11 and 8x14
Great review.
Thanks!
Thanks!
thank you so much!
Thanks so much for sharing
Good evening, Patrice!
I don’t need the Cricut for this ?
No, you do not need a cricut for sublimation.
Good video thanks looks good ❤
thanks so much for watching Jessie!
I converted 2 Epson 2720 printers it was a real waste of money!
Idon't sublimate enough and didn't realize they don't self clean.
Try print head cleaner the magenta usually clogs….. don’t know if the 2720 is a good sublimation printer 🤷🏽♀️ hope this helps
Thanks for the info

hey Tee...thanks for watching!
@@CraftableThings you’re welcome!
What paper are you using
I’m using the sample sublimation paper that came with the printer.
Yeah but what kind of paper is it or what type do you use?
it's probably their brand of sublimation paper since it came with the machine. I most often use A-sub sublimation paper@@preallz2493

I spent this much on my Epson sublimation 8.5x11. There is no extra value to buy this one instead.

Good point:)
i just bought mine and when i print its faded. the images are 300dpi
get a scrap piece of polyester material and press it. The images are often dull when printed.

I'm not sure. Maybe check your settings. Have you reached out to Brother?
