Fdf makes a brace that goes between rear toe arms and bolts into three places on the diff. Essentially bolting to five points. I think that would be best.
Just build a diff brace if you have a welder

I didn't know LMT is in Maine til you mentioned it. When I first got my z, the DE guys were all like LMT intake vs AdminTuning intake. And here you are basically making twice as much power as either one lol
I personally witnessed them take off a customers admin intake, install there's, and tuned it making an extra 38whp.

What was kind of your budget. Rn I have about 15k set aside to work on a complete bone stock 05 350z, and this caught my attention.
I paid about 7k.
Getting a 350z end of this year, and 1st thing is gonna be to turbo charge
I would only do that if you get a track package. You should do a few things before you turbo it to make sure you car can support more power!

It's actually about 18in so there is more clearance as it looks. I have hit some massive pot holes in the past with no issues

There is a 1320 video of a rear mount Miata destroying everything street racing. Idk if it was a swap but it was definitely cool!

It's really not bad. I have several videos about it and some driving clips! Check out the play list in description! And I have a buddy on insta from AZ that goes hard drifting with rear mount 350z. Been going for a few years with the set up as well so definitely!

So for oil, you did a sandwich adapter to supple, to the oil cooler that ran back to the turbo, catch can on the drain side with the scavenger pump sucking it back up to drain in from the spacer, So the catch can acts almost like its own oil pan, allowing the oil to drain completely from the turbo?
We also added a check valve so the oil wouldn't roll back and a small oil tank between the turbo and the pump

Yep and still is! Currently the car has been down for about 4 months due to a clutch and me moving but new clutch is almost in so I'm hoping to get it on the road a couple more times before the snow comes. We will see lol

Completely stock! HR with 153 thousand miles. Only thing I have done is bigger injectors and meth injection which I highly recommend
One question were u inspired by Dannyz for the rear mounted turbo just curious also I would like to see a race between your z and Dannyz z basically the same horsepower
Been watching a few of these videos I’m thinking of doing a similar setup . How much was the custom kit roughly ?minus turbo . I plan to use unknown performance with better turbo and WG .
That depends on the design. I spent about a grand but I went with all vband sections and true duel setup as I could have just stuck with so thing more simple.

How much has this cost you ? Stock internals or forged? How reliably does it hold up to like daily driving
Full turbo kit is around 8k, stock internals! I did 6months of dailying but my clutch went. It had 50k on it and wasn't rated for the power. But it runs great still haha

Would a rear diffuser kill the air flow to much I live in Washington stage and I’m afraid the rain would eat it up
Water sock and you should be good. But I don't think a defuser would hurt. Maybe just fab up a simple shield even
Overall decent video in the ICE vs EV debate issue. Though all the improvements you mention toward the end to help EV's would in turn help an ICE as well. You didn't mention end of life impact, such as what happens to the EV batteries when they are no longer usable in a EV. Where as I could easily have a 1989 Volvo 740 still working well today and for the next 10-15 years... what's the CO2 foot print there? Also, you operate under the assumption that CO2 is a bad thing all together.

It broke but yes! Maybe mine was a fluke. Other people have used it with no issue

@@CarsAndBasss You're right! DE's would be a goner! Luckily I have an HR with absolutely no engine modifications And 150,000 mi. It's been 2 years and it's still going strong!

i have been following your 350z turbo build for some time but im still questioning some thing im building a rear mount turbo my self and I’ve seen your running around 600hp but um asking my self do you have fuel return system and are you’re using stock maf sensors and stock ecu ?
Stoke MAF, stock ECU, no fuel return but I did buy a GTR R35 fruel rail/return to modify but didn't end up using. I'd be willing to let it go if your interested!

Yeah in the front but it doesn't make the flutter. Just a PSHHHHHTTT but it's pretty quiet

I'm blown away that the engine can make 580 whp on stock, high-comp pistons. I guess the meth injection has it's work cut out to keep the engine alive.
It really is amazing! Meth all the things! We are working on another project for the channel right now and we basically replaced the intercooler with just meth injection and it's insane!

How long does a tank of methanol injection last?
Depends on your set up and how much your in boost. I drive conservatively on the street and only hit boost when appropriate and a gallon has lasted me a few months

I've got the fuel return system installed and thousand cc injectors ready to be installed. I was going to run E85 but in Australia there's not too many places that sell it. then I saw your video with the water methanol injection and thought maybe I can still keep it on 98 octane fuel and do what you did. how long would you say the methanol would last doing track days and hard driving? Thanks for your time
@@lowtechsolutionsau awesome to hear!! I'd bring an extra gallon to be safe at the track and a gallon lasted me months of street driving but I drive pretty conservatively

@@blackpearlmedia7797 I also have a HR with 150k, did the tuner say what the safe limits to the engine are? iv been seeing some builds last for years while others last a few days which makes me kinda scared to boost it.
@@Disorientation_ totally understand the hesitation. I understand that 550-650hp is safe BUT it's the torque that is the dangerous part. From what I was told you should be at about 420ft pounds max. You see people not lasting because of the tune or people doing stupid things. Your not smarter then your tuner. Listen to there recommendations. I HIGHLY sudgest talking to @limpmodetuning and working with them if you are anywhere near Maine. There record is clean and they went the extra mile for me and for all of there customers

Any issues with the oil setup? Currently dealing with smoking and oil out of the tail pipe i only have a turbowerks pump and a 3psi check valve on the feed line
