Like you mentioned, the Bakugo's assessment of the situation is so so strong not just because he's intelligent enough to put this all together, but because he knows enough about the two of them to know that they're not a good mix at this moment. All Might wants to stop Midoriya, but he can't because he did the exact same thing in his prime to become the Symbol of Peace and he'd be hypocritical to try and stop him at this point. His words just wouldn't reach Deku in his current state.
Its also All Might was capable of doing it but Bakugo knows Deku is not capable of doing it. He knows Deku can not reach All might ever and is uselless
remember that is what Deku means the name bakugo came up with for him. And it still does. He is useless.

bakugou finding deku at the exact right time when he was at his lowest was great. I remember being so excited when I saw it in the manga. also the deku and all might scene made me tear up.
The real beauty of the mask besides the fact it looked cool as hell, was that it covered his face and hid the fact that he couldn't smile anymore. His mouth guard was inspired by all might smile and now it looks like sharp fangs
It’s the first time Bakugou wore his tie and the first time we see him give physical affection as well (a shoulder pet to support Shoto, while talking to Endevour).
Bakugou has also just turned 17, as Deku left in April and two months just passed (the commercial breaks told us his birthday is 20Apr…lol).
So that selfish brat has really matured into the biggest support of his class and into a team player. Great character development!

When Deku shows his emotions and is interacting and depending on others is when he's the most clear-headed, productive, and healthy, basically, he's at his strongest.
Sadly, some in the fandom equate showing emotions with weakness.
This group is only happy with characters when they're behaving in ways that will ultimately destroy them. They like Deku being emotionless, recklessly searching for his enemy and just fighting. The violence entertains them. They just want characters 'throwing hands' and being ruthless.

It's not even so much the danger Deku is in all alone, it's more the burden he's enduring out there all by himself. They are right to worry about their friend.

I love how Bakugo is directly in front of the sun when he first showed up. It's like the reverse of classic Shounen tropes. The MC is now the dark moon while the one saving him is his "Sun", his rival.
The Bakugo you’ll be seeing in these episodes is definitely the best version of himself to this point 😌
Endeavor's the hidden supporter in all this. He could've easily dodged the students' attempt at snatching the GPS, but he had the same thought as the second user of OFA. Izuku needs his friends, the ones closest to him, to support him now at his lowest. So he just stood there. Didn't even move a muscle as they jumped for the GPS. True hero (or at least, a hero that's trying his best).
Next episode will make me cry no doubt.
Exactly. He knows deep down he can’t help Deku he knows Bakugo is right. Only they could help him. So he could only let them take the gps and dip rather than give it to them and happy let them leave.

Well people want "cool" Deku, but this is him at the cost of his physical and mental health. He's "sucked it up" and now emotionally constipated. It's a reminder that pretending that you're fine all the time and starving yourself emotionally isn't necessarily the strength you may think it is... actually it could be quite the opposite as a weakness that eats at you internally.
Deku was not lying when he said he can operate at 100% like All Might thanks to Fa Jin, so keep that in mind.

@@deaninselman3938 yea Ik what I meant by that is he can’t do it like all might naturally so it’s not the same thing he has to build it up which imo is a more annoying process cause now you have to move out of the offensive into a defensive style so you can build up enough fa Jin to go 100% it’s pretty flawed rn hopefully he can improve it, I feel like fa jin would become a lot more useful once he masters OFA 100% fa jin would help further boost his OFA to a ridiculous amount like 360% or some crazy shit like that
maybe he can match All Might speed-wise but I don't think Deku can match strength with Prime All Might (not yet).

Even now you still expect to see an arrogant smirk or frown on bakugo face so seeing him see deku and just having a saddened look on his face like he is sad just imagining what he's been through is heartbreaking. The moment where the title of the episode showed up when we get a shot of Dynamight in the air (and what the 2nd/3rd OFA user mentioned to the others of what Deku needed) was SUPERB timing, enough that I actually got the feels 😭😭
Seeing the whole class show up to try and bring Deku back was super powerful... until I realized that it reminded me of trying to corner a cat that needs a bath but really doesn't want to take one

You know... rewatching this, Bakugo is acting like (a far more antagonistic version of) Nighteye. When All Might was hospitalized after the fight with AFO that scarred him, Nighteye said that All Might wasn't able to smile. Now Bakugo's the one pointing the same out to Deku.
Really good episode, I kind of like how seeing Deku is so tired and exhausted that he's using Blackwhip to keep himself upright. It's like he's puppeteer himself to keep going even though he's done. That's just my own observation since we've been seeing Deku in action before where he's either flying or web slinging around town. Now it's like he has to keep himself powered up so he won't collapse even though he did in front of the all might statue.
The cat purring ASMR was an unexpected but much needed addition to this reaction. What a happy cat ❤️

This sequence was a turning point in MHA for me. Starting with the My Villain Academia sequence, but really hitting during Shigaraki's awakening, I really felt like MHA was losing the Academia part of the series which was a huge reason why I liked it. Deku alone was SO dark in the aftermath of all of that tragedy that I was seriously considering dropping the series. I stuck it out, mostly because the plot was still interesting and the use of Deku's powers was intriguing enough to keep up with, but the tone was pushing me further and further out of the orbit. And then class 1-A showed up. It completely recontextualizes the previous stretch of episodes, and making sure that this is part of the final sprint of the season of the anime is so smart. I'm rereading it in the manga right now just because it feels so good.

I will never forget that scene of bakugo CLAPPING his hands EVER it made me laugh so hard.
I just noticed and wondered since the manga why Deku in this form seems to be using Black Whip 24/7, turns out he’s in such a weakened state that he’s using those whips as clutches to not fall.
Even though I read the manga ngl it definitely hurt seeing Deku like that especially since he’s my favorite main character in anime he was literally breaking down.
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that he does not in turn become a monster
One thing I will note about Deku’s hero costume, in this arc especially, is how much it’s changed ever since the beginning of the series. We all remember, do you remember how 🍑 it was back in season one, but now it’s actually cool to look at.
His next costume is even better!!

5:46 I hate the changes they made here, they made Deku seems reckless and too edgy for ignoring the predecessors
In the manga however, Deku ignored their advices because he sensed people are in danger, that's why he can't stop, he knows he can't keep this up but his Danger Sense kept sensing people that need help, so he put them above his own condition
That's why they showed 4th in particular, because he's seeing what his Quirk is doing to Deku, and that's also why Bakugou in the same episode said Deku is crazy and never thinks for himself, that he can't be left alone, otherwise he'll just do something like this
Same here. I went back and replayed that part twice to see if they showed that danger sense activated at that moment. For the life of me, I don’t understand why they didn’t show it. It’s a small, but important detail imo
They do anything different from the manga they just captured what horikoshi couldn’t because the shorten of the manga panels. And they made it more clear what he was going through. This scene is a thousands times better than what it was in the manga

I assumed it was only for the individual with the quirk, it seems odd for the quirk to activate for something that doesnt endanger the user
@@kalikorage I define reckless as ignoring his own condition, thinking he is fine when he isn't, which we have seen a lot from all the brainless Shounen protagonists who's too stupid or hot-headed to even realize they're pushing themselves too hard
Deku however, knew he isn't fine, but if he stops or even admits that, innocent people will get hurt, so he literally can't stop himself, which is why the Danger Sense scene is important, he's not doing this because he thinks he can manage this, he's doing this because he must

Well, they WERE SUPPOSE to resolve the Dabi "issue" together. Did he forget that?
One of my favorite details is how the development of Deku’s mask from its initial design to now was most likely intentional. The V in All Mights hair was meant to represent victory while the smile was the thing that brought peace to people he saved. So in the beginning it makes sense that in his childlike fantasies, (and low budget thanks to his mother) causes his hero costume to be a goofy, bright and slightly charming fan cosplay of All Mights Visage.
But now after everything that’s happened, the next time he’s wearing the full mask and hood in the series, we more that he embodies the path All Might took, the more that his mask literally gets corrupted and monstrous from walking that lifestyle. It looking silly then was meant to show his optimism, which has all but vanished into a cowl of despair and anxiety. It really brings the series all around in a full circle.

You know what I love, seeing Bakugo be the one speaking up for Deku! He's really grown as a character and I really hope they have a scene where he apologies to Izuku. I love that class 1-A want Izuku back, but I think it's best if he isn't at the school. UA keeps getting attacked and there is a traitor/bug there that has not been caught. He's better off traveling solo but he just needs to rest, know he's not holding the burden alone and have the top pros help him much more so he can rest.

I find it very amazing that in the wake of all this she continues to be a hero. She lost a comrade. But she still has others and they're always with her in the thick or thin.
Deku was stretched far too thin and he forgets that it's especially then that he needs support. One For All had never been able to accomplish goals without a support system.
