I always love how this episode unintentionally answered what the haters always bitched about: "Why don't the heroes just kill the villains?" Just like Tsuyu said, it's easy to kill the villains, it's harder to capture the villains, and it's even harder to try to understand and communicate with the villains, that's exactly why heroes do it. It's heroic for them risk their own lives fighting villains nonlethally while they definately will try to kill the heroes. And it's even more heroic to try to help the villains despite they will do everything they can to bite that reaching hand. It's like the old Batman, when he's not a maniac beating up bad guys, he's a hero stopping bad guys from hurting others, and also themselves, and because we see how difficult that is, how often time the villains won't appreciate it and Batman will just end up beaten, that's why he's a hero. "Uraraka is so lame, why doesn't she have more fights like a badass" Just like Uraraka said, Zero Gravity isn't a power meant for harming people, she's not aspiring to be a hero that fights villains, from the begining she wants to be a rescue hero. We live in an unfortunate time where society is polluted by toxic feminism, where poorly written heroine will be loved as long as they're "badass", and well written heroine will be hated as long as they're love interest or supporter. Just look at the interview with Zoe Kravitz, the way she's disgusted by Aerith simply because she's a "kind and sweet healer", that's basically the attitude people have
