I have always gotten the pro’s this was the first year I got settled for the regular pink 15 😁 I miss my third camera but so far the regular 15 is doing just fine, really no difference.
This was probably the best explanation for choosing Pro and Plus that I’ve seen. Your choices for analyzing new features gave a good perspective as to whether it was worth it for just about anyone. Great work. I chose the base 15 based primarily on by price. Apple delivered a lot to this model so I don’t feel much regret. As you say, nice to have.

I did 💘. I gave my husband my 14 pro max. It was just too heavy and it had more features than I needed and never used. I love the pink, and the lighter weight, which are more important than the 3rd camera. I usually just watch videos, make calls, text, and take a few pictures.

I have always got the pro phones but this year with titanium build 😢I had reaction to. So I had to return the pro. And I got the the regular 15. And I can’t tell the difference much. They definitely made this year’s regular iPhones amazing.

My best friend just bought the iPhone 15 pro max (256gb) Titanium black model.. Right after watching this video. I convinced him to get one cause it'll be his 1st iPhone ever in his entire life. He's 33 and he's rocking the 15 PM. Meanwhile I'm watching this on my iPhone 13 (256gb) variant. Will be keeping this iPhone in the next 2-3 more years since I've bought this way back in 2021. I got 14 PRO last year, as the cameras are important to me. Regular 14 wasn’t an option. And love the dynamic island and the always-on display. This year I might have gone with the regular, huge camera updates, don’t think I would have missed the 3x that much since I get 2x with 12MP. 24MP shots and the portrait function are great. Would I’ve missed 48MP Pro Raw? And the always-on? Barely considering I get a cheaper lighter phone. But I’m stuck with my 14 Pro a couple of more years, aiming at iPhone 18 or so..
My favorite phone was the Iphone 7 gold rose for a long time. If the Pro-Max had a pink version I would have gotten a pro, but the 15 Pink one is absolutely my favorite now!!!
I have the 13 mini, then got myself the 14 pro max as a treat because I really liked the dynamic island. But it was too heavy. My wrist started hurting 8 months in so after a few more months I sold it and use my 13 mini again. Love the 13 mini. But the iPhone 15 is so pretty, I'm so tempted. A part of me feels silly going from 14 pro max to standard 15. 😞
don't feel silly. I'm a 6ft male and returned the 14pm bc it was way too heavy and uncomfortable. Then went to a 14 pro, and now a 13 mini. It's all about comfort for me. No use in having a phone that is extremely uncomfortable to use

I got the 15 plus from the 13 and it really does feel great to use, ive had both 13 pro and 13 and the 15 plus definitely is light and feels nice in your hand.
I would go for the 15 plus without any problems, the only drawback is the 60Hz. I don't know how quickly I'll get used to the regression, but I'd like to try it out.

9:30 i dont get it. You wanted it to turn on and off your hue lights and you found shortcut that does exaclty that, turn them on or off. Isnt that what you wanted? Or did you want more but didnt mention it in the video. And so turning them on and off does nothing to you. Because based on what you said, the action button does exactly what you wanted it. So i dont get why you're unhappy. Is there a missing information?
I think he can only do one or the other. So if he programs it to turn the lights off, when they are off he cannot use the action button to turn them on.
Nice review. Thank you. I tried both the 15 pro and the 15. For me, the lightweight and elegant style of the 15 in black was the best choice. I believe the 15 has more than enough functionality for all but true professional media people. PS I did an outdoor camera test comparing the iPhone 12 versus the 15. Shooting outdoors downtown in the park, portraits of people also close-ups of flowers etc. In Random comparison of well composed shots, it was really hard to tell the difference between photos from the 12 and the 15. The 13 mini continues to be my daily Carry. 🍀

Having lived with a Promotion display for the past 10 months it would be hard to go back to a 60 hertz display, I also like the option of a AWD. The price difference between the two phones is not great and with device payment contracts its hardly noticeable, I see little reason to settle for the non Pro iPhones
I had the 13 pro before and now I got the 15 plus and I don't know what they did but the 15 plus with only 60hz feel like almost the same. It's not even noticeable for me now. It's crazy. Meanwhile on the 13 pro when I had the battery save mode turned on and the display was changed and locked to 60hz again, I felt the difference surely. I am really confused and I am even doubting that the displays of the 15's are even 60hz. Ofc Apple doesn't lie about it but it feels so good and responsive
my iphone 15 also heats a lot during charging. When contacted support they say during charging its normal to get heat. Apple fix of 17.0.3 did not work here

If you were debating between the 15 or 15 pro, I would recommend getting the iPhone 14 pro… the 15 is essentially a repacked iPhone 14 pro, and you get promotion display and it’s gone down in price!
but there’s no pink option - a legit concern. i downgraded from a deep purple 14 pro max just for that. promotion and 3x zoom is so so, i can live without both.

Actually, Apple knew all these things, but they know that people will buy it anyway. They rely on the youtubers and social media influencers to sugar coat their reviews and apple guaranteed that because they are paid. In an opposite way they require all their social media influencers to scrutinize their major competitors like Samsung which push Samsung to innovate more and more every year thereafter. One more thing, existing customers are tie up with their echo system, so they have no choice.
Nobody needs the Pro unless you are a pro photographer. Yes you can buy it even if you aren't a pro, but you don't "need" it. The base 15 is already the best choice for most people.

I’m switching to the 15. 14 pro max isn’t comfortable to use anymore.
Nobody needs the Pro unless you are a pro photographer. Yes you can buy it even if you aren't a pro, but you don't "need" it. The base 15 is already the best choice for most people.

the regular iphone 15 is the 90% of the 14 PRO thats why it is a solid choice for the 90% of the regular people
