I remember rushing home from school just to watch Leave to Beaver back in the 60's living in Hawaii on a military base their wasn't much to do. Watching this show meant alot to us kids. RIP Tony Dow aka "Wally" you & the Beav, meant alot to me. 👋🙏🥺🇺🇸
Do you ever watch these retro channels and they have Dennis the Menace and The Donna Reed Show and things like that, then Beaver comes on and it is just SO much better than any of the other shows of that time about kids, its the genius of the writers and the talent of the actors being able to convincingly deliver the dialogue throughout each episode. Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow were just exceptional. Good ol' Wally, the best big brother in TV history.
RIP Tony Dow. You will be sorely missed. You brought many people laughs back in the day and continue to do so. I was born in 1997 and am a big Beaver fan!
