You could probably easily afford that with a regular 9 to 5 job if you split it 50-50 with an eventual partner / roommate.
Twisted Films well they did say in Tokyo it’d be even more, I’m thinking less that 2k. But having a roommate probably makes everything a lot easier on them, each time you get a roommate you’re dividing the cost of living amongst yourselves which can quickly make things affordable for sure.

Trust me, living 24/7 in otaku world would be overwhelming and eventually boring in its own right. It's good to keep that in a few specific rooms, while you have room to breathe in the rest of the house/apartment. Because the last thing an anime fan wants is to get sick and tired of anime and otaku stuff.
