    I had SPD on my 35th week,m. It was so painful. I did some yoga and kegel exercise and it really helped me. I delivered my baby via normal delivery in less than 30 mins!

      @@amalqueen4950 I do exercise regularly. In the morning, I go walking around 2kms. In the evening, I go walking too. I do also yoga after that.

    How to know the tone present in the muscle and decide the dosage of exercises during pregnancy without internal exam to avoid over tight muscles to get easy delivery, regardless that In third trimester we do lengthening exercises but still I think we must know the actual tone of the muscles before recommending the contraction exercises.

      It's not good to hold your breath while pregnant, so I wouldn't think so.

    Currently at the beginning of this video, but I have to ask while I’m thinking about it. Have you heard of the cooch ball for pelvic floor strength (she’s on RUclips too) If so, how do you feel about using that during pregnancy?

      I'm 23 weeks as well. It's my first pregnancy, but I'm not scared. I'm actually excited to see my baby. That could just because I'm ignorant to the pain that's coming as I haven't experienced it before, or maybe I'm a little more confident than I should be that I'll be able to handle it well.

    Thank you for this. Yesterday I did your yoga ball stretch class where you mention in the yogi squat to just relax the pelvic floor once past 36 weeks, rather than doing Kegels.
    Should I stop pelvic floor exercises after 36 weeks, or do you mean that it's best to use squats for stretching the pelvic floor a bit, whilst doing Kegels at other times during the day?

      Same Question (Hello from Germany)... during labor it is said its all about RELEASE the pelvic floor... so is training and strengthening it not a Problem?

    What if you struggle with being too tight rather than loose? I don't have any pee come out, but struggle with prolapse in pregnancy.

    Does sex count as a good practice for kegal? Because the two finger thing sounds like what I do for my hubby to help his sensation lol. I hope this isn't inappropriate. Just honestly curious if that counts as a good kegal exercise.

    Hi i am in 7th month, i started having pain near pubic bone or mons pubis esp when i walk or after doing your yoga tutorials. will these exercises work?

      Oh no... it’s hard to say for sure what it is (a physio would be able to tell you for sure) It could be Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction. Go slow and don’t do moves that make it worse /more painful. I hope you get relief!

    Hi! I saw your video on diastasis recti and how to prevent it. Could you do me a huge favor and post a video on prenatal core workouts that are really engaging but safe for diastasis recti? There don't seem to be many videos out there and the ones I have found don't feel like they're doing much. I miss feeling my workout the next day. Thank you for reading!

      Yes, as long as you don’t have any pelvic floor dysfunction (like hypertonic (tight) pelvic floor) Congratulations on your pregnancy 💞

      It’s okay and I remember I would try them through out the day (and sometimes standing). If you are finding it challenging standing sitting it may be easier or more effective laying down without the pressure of baby and uterus.

    Question: what is the rationale behind isolating vagina muscles and not engaging anus? Does it do any harm if we engage anus muscles? Wouldn’t it be good to exercise those muscles as well?
