  • Wisconsin man Zachariah Anderson faces trial for charges in connection with the disappearance and death of Rosalio Gutierrez, Jr. in May 2020. Anderson is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, hiding a corpse, and stalking. Prosecutors allege Anderson stalked his ex-girlfriend and killed her new love interest, Gutierrez, at his Kenosha apartment. Anderson is back on trial after a judge declared a mistrial last year after only two days of testimony. Gutierrez's body has never been found.

Well, I think the Defense lawyers are somewhat desperate. Never the custody of the kids, that were raised by their mom for many years whiteout their father’s financial support, was discussed. Zac, worried by his diminished lack of control, raised this issue as a tool to unerve his ex-wife. Only a lawyer not versed with the domestic violence dynamics would try this argument.

It sounds completely reasonable to me. It is the prosecution that have stretched the fabric of reality to try to implicate Zach for a crime not only is it clear he did not commit but it isn't even clear that Rosalio is deceased, like his father and niece, Rosalio is still considered a missing person.

I have watched this trial. After the opening statements I thought if the State can prove every claim put forth it would be a compelling case. IMO they did that. The totality of the evidence tells a very complete story. Closing arguments tied everything together neatly. Jessica Krejcarek did so much in the last ten minutes. I would comfortably vote guilty. I will add I am not "man bun thirsty", as so many women seem to be. I'm sure Zack will have plenty of pen pals. I really like this ada. Just for his sake I hope they find him guilty. He put a lot of work into this. The longer they take the more I think they won’t. Hope they’re being thorough. We will see

Is this correct... Sadie went on a vakay with Romeo, leaving her friend to care for the children, but failed to inform Zack that she'd be out of the country?

I can’t believe the DA got away with saying that they had found the body, when no evidence was shown!
I’m on the fence on this one but leaning to a NG due to reasonable doubt.

@@mea1831 I actually watch this earlier when it was streaming live, but decided to rewatch I noticed people were saying he said the same thing in the live chat. I must keep missing it. period.

He absolutely said it. “Murdered on the 17th and body found on the 19th” were his words

What difference does it make? As far as reasonable doubt, there's no reasonable explanation for Anderson's behavior if he was actually innocent

The female prosecutor has potentials. All she needs is to get polished down the road.

Great closing argument from the DA, from the defence blah blah blah. Why did miss lady defence not speak, would have been better in my opinion. But oh well, let’s see what comes out of this very weird trial. Fun, with the greatest judge, but weird nonetheless.
