- Wisconsin man Zachariah Anderson faces trial for charges in connection with the disappearance and death of Rosalio Gutierrez, Jr. in May 2020. Anderson is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, hiding a corpse, and stalking. Prosecutors allege Anderson stalked his ex-girlfriend and killed her new love interest, Gutierrez, at his Kenosha apartment. Anderson is back on trial after a judge declared a mistrial last year after only two days of testimony. Gutierrez's body has never been found.

That closing argument from the prosecutor was masterfully delivered 👏🏼
The only thing that hangs me up is how did he get RG’s body out of the apartment by himself, with no one seeing him, and no traces of blood?
I think someone helped him. And then the defense trying to blame Sadie and Macias for killing him, I thought how the heck would either of those women be able to take him out of the house
Wow! Those last 10 min of closing arguments were fantastic! She wrapped that up with a bow 🎀
@Mory yes she did....... right to jail!
Does the defense lawyer realize how idiotic he sounds saying Zach was worried about his kids safety and that's why he did all of this? Pathetic defense
He did look Rosalio’s records. Which he had…
Exactly…as he threatens his young child with a gun
Well, I think the Defense lawyers are somewhat desperate. Never the custody of the kids, that were raised by their mom for many years whiteout their father’s financial support, was discussed. Zac, worried by his diminished lack of control, raised this issue as a tool to unerve his ex-wife. Only a lawyer not versed with the domestic violence dynamics would try this argument.
It sounds completely reasonable to me. It is the prosecution that have stretched the fabric of reality to try to implicate Zach for a crime not only is it clear he did not commit but it isn't even clear that Rosalio is deceased, like his father and niece, Rosalio is still considered a missing person.
Good point
Dad's lawyers calling his daughter a liar is not helpful for him.
“This dot” of RGs blood in ZAs van… how.? Explain that
He can’t take the prosecutor talking about him looming over Sadie at 4 a.m. and calling her and babysitter a bad name...that look in this eyes and he started to say something, then leaned into the man defense attorney. Love it!!! Tearing him up Prosecutor!!!

When you look into this defendant 's eyes there is absolutely nothing there, nothing. You see no remorse, no regret, no regret, no sadness when his daughter was testifying, nothing. A soulless, Godless, shell of a nothing!!

Prosecution did a great job of wrapping up a roller coaster of a trial. After hearing both closing arguments I’m convinced: GUILTY
Right yes! Agreed
I was convinced after the opening statements he was obviously guilty.
Any accomplices?
Did LE investigate baby mamma?
@@workhorse7134Did you wait to hear if the defense presented reasonable doubt?
I have watched this trial. After the opening statements I thought if the State can prove every claim put forth it would be a compelling case. IMO they did that. The totality of the evidence tells a very complete story. Closing arguments tied everything together neatly. Jessica Krejcarek did so much in the last ten minutes. I would comfortably vote guilty. I will add I am not "man bun thirsty", as so many women seem to be. I'm sure Zack will have plenty of pen pals. And yes, Ms Muller should read the pamphlet on "dress code for attorneys" and probably stick to DUIs. The trial was a hot mess in so many ways but in the end, Guilty.
Agree. I did not like her & im sure jurors didn’t. That doesn’t help her client at all- the low cut dressing is disgusting
I also noticed after the daughter's testimony she did not cross or question as often. Seems like she failed miserably and the more senior attorneys took over.
@@NeverNotCleaning I noticed that too, she finally got put in her place and blew it and so they took it from there
On point!

How'd his blood end up in the van if it's "the wrong guy"!? IMO

He's not the wrong guy is why
Do you think (guilty) defendants sit there thinking how right/wrong the cops/DA got the info?
Lol, I absolutely do! That’s where my mind went when the DA was outlining the murder and the clean up.
I hope the jury realizes they must sleep at night the rest of their life. That’s what I wonder if each jury member thinks about. They can’t go back and change their decision.
I’ve always wondered this myself!
IMO, I think Zachariah must be medicated with benzodiazepines at the request of his lawyers. Explaining his sometimes fixated stare. Also allowing him to sleep. Otherwise…
@@louiselefrancois-mq1chlol…. You r so funny! Lol…
Why did they not let Muller, who knew the case inside out do closing, this guy isn't even confident in what he is saying?
Probably thought it was best to have a soft spoken attorney do the closing to juxtapose the DA's yelling voice. Incase any jury members were put off by her, it's best they let another attorney do it. He's a former JAG with a cool head - she might get too expressive. He's more experienced. He has been one of the attorneys the whole time and was sitting there listening the whole trial - they probably planned from the start that he'd do closing.
Not sure how anyone could watch this trial and think he was anything but guilty? If he couldn’t have her, no one could.

Meeting the kids IS a Big step plus she didn't know about anyone else

Has it though, or is that what she wishes us to perceive? Lots of threats from her side remember.
@@victorialawgeek81cornwell64 The circumstantial evidence is overwhelming re; ZA. Threats from SB are just that, threats. If they had any circumstantial or physical evidence it was SB, they would of arrested her and she would be on trial.
Thank you for helping me see that. It’s so hard this case. He got Guilty and tbh I think that was the right decision, whether new evidence will come out years down the line, who knows, I think he will confess at some point to someone, but not just to a fellow inmate. Maybe his daughter in years to come. He owes her that.
@@victorialawgeek81cornwell64 I agree…I believe both him and SB were very two toxic people together and apparently apart. I do believe that SB was a manipulator regarding ZA and her own children. Sad, all the way around.
The time for him to talk would have been BEFORE sentencing. He knows where RG remains are. He should have used that to leverage a better sentence.
His arrogance and insistence that he’s innocent cost him a bunch of time.
He belongs in prison forever and his silence keeps him there:
When the prosecutor was talking about him putting OA up to calling someone and telling them they were home alone the prosecutor says what kinda parent does that ZA mouthed toward the jury Sadie not once but twice. This guy is dangerous and hopefully for Sadie and the kids he gets put away for a long time.
He was blatantly responding/reacting to a lot of the closing. I wish I knew how to read lips.
And the gaslighting continues. ZA is a narcissistic psychopath.
Him bringing up the relationship is not as serious as the prosecution made it out to be just makes Zach even more bad. So he did this to a guy who wasn't even serious about her
That’s what blows my mind! This guy wasn’t even as serious with Sadie as she was him otherwise he wouldn’t have been talking and trying to go out with others. I wonder if during trial when that came up what zach was thinking. He basically ruined his life and took the life of someone else who more than likely given the bs going on would have moved on. It’s so heartbreaking
Agree but Zach had no idea Rosalio was interested in dating someone other than Sadie. It must have been really upsetting and embarrassing to Sadie having this disclosed.

It was a minority of women who thought he was innocent. Btw, more women than men watch trials, my opinion.
Wait. I thought they didn't find the body? Mr Gravely stated that he was found in the 19th. How can that be?
Because the prosecution team don't care about facts and evidence, they just want a conviction, they don't care if they send an innocent person to jail for a crime he did not commit.
That was def a mis-spoken moment. I believe he meant that was the day the crime scene was discovered.
Wow. Why didn't the judge or the defense say anything when the DA stated that "his body was found on the 19th, 2020?"
