    Hi everyone, thanks for watching!
I've been getting a lot of questions about the MG4, so I decided to make this video to share some of the things I've learned. I hope you find it helpful!
A few things to keep in mind:
This is just a general overview of some of the common issues that have been reported. Not all MG4s will have these problems.
If you do experience any problems, be sure to contact your dealer for assistance.
The MG4 is still a new car, so there may be some teething problems. However, MG is working hard to address any issues that arise.
Overall, I think the MG4 is a great car. It's fun to drive, has a lot of features, and is very affordable. If you're considering buying one, I would definitely recommend doing your research and checking out some of the owner forums to get a better idea of what to expect.
    Thanks again for watching!

I had to adjust my windscreen washers but that is a fairly easy thing to do, I pretty much had to do it on all my cars so far, so no major issue. Luckily I didn't have any oil leaks or undertray problems, so maybe I've been lucky.
It's the potential CCU failure that worries me as most of the users who reported it started seeing it around the 1 year mark and mine is about 2 weeks away from being 1 year with me. I've waited for more SW updates to come up so that when I take it in for its service, I can bundle more fixes there. Fingers crossed!
Good informative video as always, Fina :)

I can't tell how many cars are affected by these problems with covers or oil leaks, but given the videos from Spain, it's not just a UK problem. I wasn't really aware of this CCU issue you speak of, so I looked it up on the mgevs forum again and someone mentioned it can perhaps be fixed by a software update? Well, either way, fingers crossed that you won't have to deal with it. It doesn't seem to have affected too many cars. But yea, hope the service people can take care of everything for you all at once!
Glad you liked the video 😊 that mgevs forum is a real treasure trove of interesting information!

who does the quality control at MG , Stevie Wonder ? These are all faults that should be resolved before it leaves the factory.

😅 hopefully Steve had something better going on, but yea, you've got a good point. Does seem like perhaps some of them were a bit rushed out for delivery. Hopefully they do affect only a small amount of cars though and it should be getting better with new models coming out. It's really a great car, so I do hope they get quality control in better shape

I had the huge bulge, as well as on my undertray. I eventually got booked in at MG and they replaced the undertray. It’s better, but not perfect.

did you get a chance to look at it? Is it due to wrong bolt hole spacing dimensions?

@@siasek I didn’t get a good look, but looked more like the tray was warped rather than fitted badly due to bolting or whatnot. Maybe it is the material used for the undertray?

Oh that makes sense.. perhaps the material is too flimsy to withstand high heat or something

The oil leak was fixed long ago

Not for everyone, unfortunately, people still report issues.
