On a x380, a 20amp fuse on position C3 is required to provide 12v to the red wire of the source power for the kit while the yellow wire provides 12v when the main switch is on. The fuse is located in the fuse box.
Kurt B , on mine there was one but was broken. It provides 12v on the red wire where you plug in the actuator harness. The yellow wire has 12v when the key switch is turn on. The red wire is hot all the time.
If you also have a powerflow, place the actuator support plate on top of the powerflow black support plate for better fit. And you may have to adjust for correct operation of the door by moving the actuator plate. There is some light movement possible before tightening the 2 bolts.
Looks like it blocks a lot of the chute opening even when not engaged. Maybe that is simply because the adapters narrow the chute but also change the whole deck flow.
The one touch kit I ordered for 48 inch deep acel deck the gate does not close all the way. Did the send me wrong kit? I have John Deere x570 with 48 inch deep acel deck

Hi Richard Turcotte. I’m going to install this on my X380. Is there no fuse in C3 to begin with? I haven’t run out there to take a look yet. Thanks!

Will this work for a Z920A?
My mulch control switch is operating opposite of what it should. When I switch it to open it closes and when I switch close it opens. What is wrong?
