it takes enough courage to change one of the most classic songs in the rock history this much and still be able to make it sound great, good job fellas
Absolutely wild version of this song, from a hardcore Led Zep fan, who has no idea who you are. You aced it, clearly put your own spin on it, different, but I enjoyed it. I'm off to find you on Spotify!
As a mostly Zep purist, I love literally everything about this. Alt-Pop band didn’t ruin Zeppelin, they reimagined it beautifully. I was worried that one of the best guitar solos of all time would be left out, and while it’s not a note-for-note replication (and as a jazz musician myself, let’s be real, you don’t play note-for-note in a cover, you just quote people), I did love the inclusion of the solo. 15/10 y’all, incredibly well done!
Yes. And these guys got it hard. The best one so far was the folk pop cover of System but it’s not apple to apples. Celtic folk and Iranian Folk (System) is still a similarity. Zeppelin and Alt Pop is even further apart.
Yes, I hate covers that sound just like the originals. Like what was the point of Wheezer's Teal album? Make the song your own, I already have the original, I don't need a clone.
In the beginning I was like "Oof" and at the end I was like "OOF!" you nailed the vibe you were going for, that chorus sounded huge and I loved the synth parts and the guitar solo. Not too keen on the auto tune, but that's just preference. Well done guys!
Great! Side note, random, my father in law is an amazing pianist and musical tinkerer. He helped create Beamz. Let me know if you want to interview him about it, would be a fun video.
Personally I divide music only on good or bad, or rather, I appreciate and listen to good music, no matter the genre. I respect the work put in, the vibes of the musicians and the love they bring to the world. And as a Led Zeppelin fan, this surely came out not only good, but excellent. Kudos!
Bravo… You guys did an amazing job and I’ve been listening to this song for over 50 years. And y’all did a DAMN fine job of making it your own. It’s still stuck in my head an hour later and I will likely go back and listen to it over and over. 🤘🏻🎧🤟🏼
Royal Oak, you took a song so heavily rooted in Rock, so loved by it's devotees, and made it your own as if it were a new composition. This is no re-tread, this is craftsmanship. This is art. Well done.
Clicked because I was curious exactly what Zep song they were to do... I mean its not like you lack for great songs from Led Zeppelin, but taking one of many iconic songs from an iconic band and putting your own spin on it... damn. This is impressive as hell.
Really unique take on this song! Feels completely different, but it has a similar "bigness" to it and the layering and buildup of the bridge is shorter, but has a similar impact. Great job!
As an avid fan of contemporary alternative with an 80's feel and absolute love for Led Zeppelin that was such a unique tale on the song. Nothing but kudos to them for being able to transform a classic and modernize it the way they did. I would absolutely share this track to anyone.
I’m not mad at it. Having people do covers of songs in their genre that belong in to other genres and make it unique is the ultimate creative work out.
As a zeppelin fan and guitarist in a band I was sceptic, non the less. Impossible to be close to LZ version, but you truly made something unique. Took me back to when I used to listen to indie.
What y'all did to zeppelin is damn near inexcusable but fuck me if that bass tone aint fucking sick and those baselines are thight as fuuuk. Instant fan . Ok I loved the rest of to. well done!
These song so far have been amazing, although I would really like to hear some off the wall tracks get covered. Songs that would really put a band out of the comfort zone like Coconut by Harry Nilsson or calling occupants of interplanetary craft by The Carpenters.
This was a really interesting and solid take. As I have been watching these videos I often wonder if these covers find their way into the artists' set lists.
Huge Zep fan here, and while I wanted very much so to hate this I did not, and by the end was toe tapping and smiling... and now am going go checkout Royal Oak's catalog, so great job? 😅
it takes enough courage to change one of the most classic songs in the rock history this much and still be able to make it sound great, good job fellas
Thank you!!
Champs!
Ahhh this was such a blast to do! Huge thanks to Ron for having us, Chris for manning the desk, and the rest of the Musora crew for crushing it✨
Best of these videos so far. That was dope.
you guys were so refreshing and fun
I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about it, but y’all definitely did this well. Great job!
🤘🏻🎧🤟🏼 - THIS is what I need to pull me up when things get to be too much. Many thanks 🙏🏼
You did really well! It's a reimagining and it's a good one.
Absolutely wild version of this song, from a hardcore Led Zep fan, who has no idea who you are. You aced it, clearly put your own spin on it, different, but I enjoyed it. I'm off to find you on Spotify!
Aye thanks for the kind words! Appreciate you checking us out 🙌
I'm wondering if you might be more of a hardcore Yes (the band) fan?

Musora has talent for finding very talented bands that are mostly unheard of and I hope they continue with that format.
I love that even though the chords are different the bass plays the iconic riff in the chorus
Such a sick touch
@@RonaldDJackson omg Ron Jackson i luv u
My favorite videos in this series are the ones where the songs are wildly different than the original, and I think this fits the bill.
We're happy to hear that! 🙌

9:10 When my guy made a suggestion and then it was just
"[Beat] that didn't speak to me" I FELT THAT
One of our favourite parts 😂
Fearless reimagining. Very cool to see. We’ve heard more than enough Zeppelin cover bands try to emulate the original ~ this was sick, nicely done !
In the beginning I was like "Oof" and at the end I was like "OOF!" you nailed the vibe you were going for, that chorus sounded huge and I loved the synth parts and the guitar solo. Not too keen on the auto tune, but that's just preference. Well done guys!

This format is such a fun concept and it's so good to watch people work stuff out like this
This needs to be released as a single!!
👀
This is awesome! I would love to see a funk band take on this challenge.
I second that!
Glad you enjoyed it! Would love to see a funk band as well
Check out the band scary pockets
I’m on it 😉

The level of the bands you bring into this segment is just out of this world , soooo much talent! this is great!!
Royal Oak, you took a song so heavily rooted in Rock, so loved by it's devotees, and made it your own as if it were a new composition. This is no re-tread, this is craftsmanship. This is art. Well done.
Sounds nothing like the original, love it xD
Glad you liked it! 🙏
Those are the best covers, because they show that the band cared to actually take the time to make it their own.
Clicked because I was curious exactly what Zep song they were to do... I mean its not like you lack for great songs from Led Zeppelin, but taking one of many iconic songs from an iconic band and putting your own spin on it... damn. This is impressive as hell.
I’m so giddy at how fucking good this is. 😂😂😂
Great job! I wouldn't thought about Led Zeppelin at all if I'd heard that
Watching the process of using the technology to help make this was fascinating. Great job in making it your own.
This is so far my favorite cover that's been done on this channel. This turned out so good!
So happy to hear that! Thanks for watching 🙌
Really unique take on this song! Feels completely different, but it has a similar "bigness" to it and the layering and buildup of the bridge is shorter, but has a similar impact. Great job!
@12:11 the guitar slide! You can tell they really worked to pay respectful tribute to the original
Had to keep that in there for sure!
Not the music style I'd usually listen to, but this brought a big smile to my face.
Thanks!

Rick Beato vs This Band: Deathmatch
Led Zeppelin was my OG favorite band and this is just wonderful!
"Better start screamin boi" 😆 y'all crushed it that was so sick
😂 thanks man, hope you're keeping well!
This track is amazing and I absolutely love this series! Keep it up!
I didn’t see the version coming together all the way until it DID. Man, well done.
I thought it's impossible to come out of this with heads up, but you did surprisingly well.
The band was so funny and absolutely crushed it! Love this cover, need it as a single asap
I have a ZoSo tatoo...I am a HUGE Zeppelin fan!
This is an awesome version of this song. Well done and lots of fun to watch!
This is the reason music is best thing ever! Understand, create, modify, build, play, and most important enjoy the ride!! Awesome cover
dang, my evening starts and ends with Musora, Drumble and Drumeo period.
The Drumeo fellas are just down the hall!
SOLID bass work!
I’m not mad at it. Having people do covers of songs in their genre that belong in to other genres and make it unique is the ultimate creative work out.
U gotta love some halftime breakdowns! Loved it all! Great job guys!!
I have new found respect for alt-pop after seeing the creativity going into this
Loving this series! This band also killed it.
Curious how long this process actually takes? I know we are seeing the highlight reel of the process.
It took us about 4-5 hours if I remember correctly!
I really enjoyed watching the process and the end result is good. Way to go guys!
This channel is all killer no filler
this is my favorite series on youtube
That was AMAZING! A terrifying challenge and took it head on!
Love the bass tone.
So glad people aren't being mean about them doing what they're supposed to do, and that's to be themselves.
The bass part and tone is 🔥🔥 Love seeing another reverend bass player!
Hell yeah my friend 🤘 best basses!
i love how the bass kept it all grounded on the original
Wow, that sounds incredible. Amazing work
I love this series! Now I just need a Playlist with all of the final cuts 😊

Absolutely fantastic! Well done everyone! You guys killed it! So sick!
My new favorite RUclips channel :)
Release this as a single on Spotify!
I hope this goes on Spotify!
I love this series! Good job guys!
Hell yeah! That was sick! Way to own it!
What an absolutely amazing cover!!

I was very suspicious until i saw the final version which was perfect
Amazing cover of an all time classic, well done 👏🏼🤙🏼😊😎
I wish more pop bands were this brave. Amazing.
the bass player is so sickkkkk!!!
I must admit I was skeptical at first but that was awesome!!
And it alt-pop style, loaded with auto-tune. Nailed it.
Amazing effort, don't listen to any hate, it was an amazing alt version of an amazing song
I loved your version guys, so original
This was a really interesting and solid take. As I have been watching these videos I often wonder if these covers find their way into the artists' set lists.
This one has become a mainstay in our setlist. I think I've seen Fionn performing theirs out in the world as well!
@@royaloaktheband Thanks for the answer. I was hoping these songs were living past these one off performances

This was so fucking sick
haha fugen sick smashed it boys. love the originality
Collaborative production skills. Deeply impressive.
I gave it a thumbs up before reading the comments in fear of the wrath that these guys will get
Cool spin, they did what they were asked to do, and they made it into their own thing!
This is awesome. Also I've seen how Jimmy Page played with guitar effects to get crazy sounds, he would have loved playing around with Ableton.
That was FANTASTIC.
Goated youtube series
That was amazing 😮
ahhh the autotune got me 😂😂 really great cover y’all. truly phenomenal musicians!
Not even close to something I’d listen to on purpose, but the tone on that solo was sick.
As soon as i heard Led Zeppelin i got here straight from tiktok
It's like if The Outfield covered Whole Lotta Love.
I really like this series. I think you guys did a great job doing your thing. The only part I couldn't get on board with was the auto tune.
Yes, this is genious! Not my style of music but if there ever is a reason to do a cover on a song in my book it is to do your own take on it.
Brilliant! Really awesome.
This rules! Nice work guys
I love these videos. They remind me a lot of AV Undercover.
Such a good vibe
mind blown
This was a big ask. Absolutely nailed it tho. Great cover. 👏
😅 true… killed it though
Aww, that was so good! Shoutout to my hood!
In fairness, that's pretty impressive.
Man i love this
this was just lovely
Sounds amazing!
