Props to BADMNY for thinking outside of the box on this one! I try to read all the comments, so make sure you leave suggestions for future song combos :)
Not one time they talk remotely close to music theory. Maybe they have full understanding of it but i didnt see then focusing music theory in their process. More like "i go ba bam boom" you go "tiki taka tiki taka" which is normal interaction in band setting
Probably only the best ever cover of this song. I hope Adele gets to hear it at some point and I hope she'll be just as blown away as I was right now! Awesome!!!
I love it when a band can take a song, rearrange it, and make the song their own. This was a fantastic piece of artistry by BADMNY. And the way they work together with no egos to bring this together. Lots of fun to watch and listen to.
GOODNESS GRACIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a banger they delivered, what an absolute beast of a band the tones are great the idea they came up with was awesome, this is probably one of the best of this series so far!! keep em coming cause, WOW!!!! 11/10
I feel like having this combo of vocals in their band is winner, one is round/pop and the other is smoke-y/ raspy. It must open a lot of opportunities for songs, + they work super-duper well together! The synchro was on point👌
Loved that they initially said the song was perfect when asked to reinterpret it. They have a terrific working relationship in how they share ideas. Bangin' final version!!!
This series is soooo amazing from Ulysses to brass camel to fion to these guys keep this going musora, i jump with joy whenever i see a new video from this series
I wish you didn't play a sample of what the final song sounds like at the beginning of the video. The whole point of these videos is finding out how it will sound, and you spoil that right up front.
I like this series and I've been tuning in to every episode regardless of how I feel about the material covered and my prior unfamiliarity with these rather under-the-critical-radar groups, it's fascinating to see the bits and pieces come together to re-imagine and transform the original source into something although not always totally successful but often interesting. Many times I find cover versions that are uploaded on RUclips inferior due to a myriad of factors and I try to avoid comparisons and treat them as a seperate individual tier of alternatives, but somehow I'm unsure why but this format of edited, medium-form video that takes you through the chemistry of the members in the group working out the cover section-by-section keeps me engaged and that I always stay to the end to see how it all comes together, even when I have no interest in what is being covered and who the people are, and that maybe it's because of high production values I can see these versions as a nice parallel version that isn't necessarily inferior and can co-exist as a cooler little brother of the original song, although I agree with one commentator that I think the quick-cuts in the intro foreshadowing bits of the cover should be taken out or changed as it gives away far too many elements of the reimagined song. And I also have some suggestions for potential future videos and I hope the novelty of these ideas and the relative obscurity of the source material won't dissuade you from the limitations of it's execution: - a twinkly math rock group with a post-hardcore edge reimagines Breakbeat-style music (I am thinking of Krystle (URL Cyber Palace Mix) by Machine Girl) - post-rock or a noisy psychedelic band doing 50s doo-wop or 60s girl group music (blues/shoegaze/power-pop bands would be cool too now that I think about it) - a small contemporary classical ensemble covers the Avalanches Since I Left You/70s electronic music ala YMO or Kraftwerk (the more danceable stuff like Firecracker or Europe Endless) - indie surf/bedroom/lounge/jangly band with their own take on the 60s Joao Gilberto kind of bossa nova/70s brazillian samba-rock ala Jorge Ben, MPB/ Serge Gainsbourg-esque French Pop etc - guys with synthesizers deconstructing 3-chord punk rock/90s boy bands/popular music of the day - shoegaze-esque/power-pop/60s revival ala The Lemon Twigs renditions of j-pop (something like Electro World by Perfume) or the already mentioned stuff - doom, black, blackgaze, stoner metal/screamo, hardcore, metalcore, mathcore band does Southern Hip-Hop/Cloud Rap/Mumble Rap/Witch House ala Bladee, SALEM, Viper, Lil B etc - jazz fusion live instrumental combos like Domi & JD Beck, BADBADNOTGOOD, or OMA doing House/Disco/60s soul, RnB/Synth Funk/Vaporwave/corporate muzak/Easy Listening Thank you for reading, and again I really like this series and hope to see it take new directions and continue being fresh!
Sometimes, it's hard to edit these videos because the bands create so many cool riffs while they try to work out the final song. In the end, you have to kill some of your darlings.

Good job guys.
Best one of these so far. Consider me a fan.
Smashed. It.
I love how the drummer is giving them confidence and emotional support as much as drumming.
The bro power was real
Emotional support? Lol
That's the job of a drummer, that's why they're the hardest job to have
That drummer came with clear production concepts from bang !!
keep this series goinggggg
Sounds good to me!
Please stop this series
For real! Also release the recording on Spotify
It's like my favorite thing on RUclips currently. Always eagerly waiting for the next release.
This is the most confident, music theory literate group since the jazz combo
They understood the assignment
Not one time they talk remotely close to music theory. Maybe they have full understanding of it but i didnt see then focusing music theory in their process.
More like "i go ba bam boom" you go "tiki taka tiki taka" which is normal interaction in band setting
The group with the Irish folk pop twins was musically literate for sure. Especially the keys player.
@ I missed them!
@@ericnowak9497 the keys player carried that group
People! This group has less than 100 subs. That is a travesty. Badmny is worth the money. Time to make these guys famous. Let's go!!!!!!
100%. Could tell right away they had some solid musical talent. Will be checking them out asap
Probably only the best ever cover of this song. I hope Adele gets to hear it at some point and I hope she'll be just as blown away as I was right now! Awesome!!!
The bassist's vocals blew me away.
His bass tone is so good aswell, I'm dying to know what he's playing through
I love it when a band can take a song, rearrange it, and make the song their own. This was a fantastic piece of artistry by BADMNY. And the way they work together with no egos to bring this together. Lots of fun to watch and listen to.
Am I the only one who wants these covers on spotify or something??
No fr I wish we could stream them
We are working on it!

this, the prog rock sabrina carpenter cover, jazz nirvana and the folk pop cover of toxicity are on another level.
amazing job.
I feel like having this combo of vocals in their band is winner, one is round/pop and the other is smoke-y/ raspy. It must open a lot of opportunities for songs, + they work super-duper well together! The synchro was on point👌
Vancouver has some amazing talent man
Every musician on this series is killer
The harmony on that chorus and the drumming decisions came across so well. Great job.
Loved that they initially said the song was perfect when asked to reinterpret it. They have a terrific working relationship in how they share ideas. Bangin' final version!!!
Wow, it was amazing! I’ve got goosebumps from the performance, it sounded awesome
This series is soooo amazing from Ulysses to brass camel to fion to these guys keep this going musora, i jump with joy whenever i see a new video from this series
BADMNY is a freight train of musical talent, we need them back ASAP!
The quality of the bands/musicians you’ve brought for these covers videos ir remarkable. Keep it up!
the best one so far in my opinion I CAN'T EVEN
As soon as he said “fuck chords” I instantly became a fan of these guys. This cover is fantastic! Definitely got a new fan after this performance
Saw these guys on the beach busking at Kits last summer. They had the juice, folks. Excited to see where they end up.
This is my favourite cover on the spot yet. Cool guys, LOVE their chemistry they really just seem like best bros, and the fucking man

I wish you didn't play a sample of what the final song sounds like at the beginning of the video. The whole point of these videos is finding out how it will sound, and you spoil that right up front.
Ok this was a great way to start my work day. The rock covers of good pop songs is so much fun to me.
Nailed it. This was awesome. Just went and subscribed to the band's channel.
They made this song such a vibey rock masterpiece! I want this version for download please!!

Very cool composition and great playing :)

I love this series, thank you Musora!
This is absolutely beautiful! Such an amazing rendition! I had to come here and comment.

that machine grl cover idea is crazy
People are so talented, it’s crazy.

Why did you not use this riff in the final version,
I would have loved to hear it in there
Sometimes, it's hard to edit these videos because the bands create so many cool riffs while they try to work out the final song. In the end, you have to kill some of your darlings.
I hope they revisit that - that was so good!
Love watching the construction of music.
That was genuinely so sick! Like I actually want this cover in my Spotify playlist
Loved It! Awesome job guys 🤘 Reminds me of "Me First and the Gimme Gimmes" back in the day ...
This sounds amazing, they killed it
This is my favourite series on RUclips

I was hoping it was this song before I clicked on the video!! So happy it is!
Interesting and clever cover for sure!

Dude this series is gold.
