some ncie shots showing off the xh2s man! that dynamic range form the xh2s is no joke, i see it too :D
Thank you brother!!! It’s my new main camera for all photography and the more I use it, the more I’m blown away with the results. We need more modeling sessions from you!!! Miss those videos although now I’m likely buying this fucking Godox light because of you 😂😂
King of apsc!
It really is. It is a SPECIAL camera. Hate to be a hype beast but it is just next level. 🎉🎉
Those sports shots are my favorite! Just spectacular
Thank you so much! I am nowhere near where I want to be - so many amazing sports photogs out there - but in a good place for starting out. Do you do any sports stuff? Tips?
@@oxeneers I've got nothing that could improve your outdoor shots here, no way! Indoor, when the court is lit and the stands less so, sometimes spot metering is important. But this is such a minor thing...
@@beemeph Hey thanks man. You know what? Photometry options are something I really avoid using - no idea why. I usually fly with "Average" and just go from there. I agree, though, I think spot metering would've been key here. Good call - I am going to play more with this going forward. That's why I ask for tips because you may just help me unlock something new!! Thank you!!
Great video and images, The worming effect can be minimised in Adobe by reducing the detail slider under sharpening, but honestly with Capture one the images have slightly more detail and appear sharper and cleaner overall, Adobe isn’t tuned to process X trans very well I found.
Definitely have seen an improvement in LR with reducing detail and increasing masking - you're right. Thanks for the tip!! Will use that more. Appreciate your comment Elias!
Great pictures man 🙌🏻
Thank you!!! Trying to show more photography than just gear, you know?
Nice pics! Glad you are enjoying your Fuji. Makes me smile when I see people just getting out there and using their gear.
Thank you - really appreciate it! I watched some X-H2S stuff last week that made me want to put this up on here. These two videos had no photos, just talking head + gear pictures. What about the photos they took? :(
This was a really enjoyable video.
I liked seeing all the different scenarios you put it through
Thanks man. I see too many spec reviews and video-focused content on this camera so wanted to show what it's like to use it for photography.
Nice examples ❤ Looks like a good performer for sure. 👍✌
Thank you Dan!!! I need to check out your latest videos for sure
Cool! did you have a ND or polarizer filter at the beach?
I did not! At the time, I was kind of against filters but just recently got into ND/CPL stuff and have been enjoying the results :)
What are your thoughts on the X-H2? Then again, I guess you dont care for the higher resolution since you have a GFX... Also, you mention that the X-trans sensor has issues with detail... Is that only in combo with lightroom or a general issue? I had never heard of that...
I think the X-H2 is amazing. $500 less but you lose the stacked sensor capabilities and open gate video - still hands and feet above the X-T4. I'd get it if you only had $1999 to spend. Put the other $500 in a lens. But yes, Lightroom's demosaicing of X-Trans files has been well documented for years. (blog.thomasfitzgeraldphotography.com/blog/2018/8/about-those-worm-artifacts-and-fuji-x-trans#:~:text=These%20worm%20artefacts%20that%20everyone,full%20to%20see%20the%20effect)
Thank you!!!
So what you're saying is I should have bought a X-H2s instead of the GFX100s?! Great video - really enjoyed seeing the dynamic range of this camera. Seems like a true game changer from the X-H1. I see myself absolutely picking this up in the future!
HAHAH no, I mean, it's just so fun to shoot with but as a fellow pixel peeping addict (like you haha), I am often "happy" with the results but never blown away like I am every time I bring out my 50S II and the 80mm (my favorite combination). I don't know. I take a lot of photos of my 15 month old daughter and the GFX can't ever keep up, especially with the slower-focusing 80mm lens. The GFX is in a category of its own. I do wish there was a 70-300mm equivalent for the GFX like there is for my X-H2S, I'd probably use it more. BUT, I am really looking forward to the 20-35mm and your review because your Lightroom samples from Fujikina were EXCELLENT!!!
@@oxeneers Ok thats fair, but your results did impress me! Aside from you of course being a great photographer and editor, the camera IQ is really next level! I will need to do a comparison video one day! The sad thing is that the 80mm is actually one of the faster focusing lenses. At least faster than the 110. Wait till i take actually composed images with the GF20-35mm hahaha.
I know I am not a great photographer but, even though the sensor is the same as my X-s10 and my X-T4 since the AF is so much more sticky and more reliable than those it seems like the pictures I get are so much more sharp out of the X-H2S
Weird, right? I think the new 1.4 lenses have some magic dust in them but the new sensor certainly can produce incredible stuff. It's all a bit above my head, but it's not placebo - the X-Trans V is no joke.
How are you?~friend,stunnnig channel,catch you later~))
