Dude, you’re just a natural at these tours, extremely well done. Thx again for all your content. I have remodeled a couple myself. All in the 40 foot range. You can do a hell of a remodel for about $1000 a foot. So for 40 k you can pretty much replace all the furniture, hardware, countertops, and blinds, flooring etc. well worth it, and you get exactly what you want . I hate carpet, so I only use tile and hard wood.
Yep, we spent a year searching for a DP upgrade, and just went to CA for our new to us Newmar Mountain Aire. Pre-def, 4 slides, aquahot, and no carpet. 40ft, 400hp, and beautiful inside and out.
I am not easily impressed with remodeling 90% of the trailers and RV’s shown online. This is in a class by itself, James. It’s classic, elegant and functional. Tom gave me some great ideas on what I’d like to do with our classic Holiday Rambler. P
Love it. That said, I just came from a campground where the rear of the coach could not be leveled. Shower water pooled at the rear of the pan. It would have easily overflowed the pan in this coach. For me, I used my squeegee after showering to "drain" the floor.
@@davidl1338 how about adding like a 1 1/2 inch lip of stone on the bottom of the pan coming up the glass wall and the door, not too much to step into and help you with a not perfectly level coach.
That front dash because that is truly amazing! I probably wouldn’t have chosen BLACK but it does look really nice ! The whole coach is much more impressive for sure…Also it’s very consistent and tasteful compared to some of the horrible “Farm House” styles that I’ve seen so much lately.
Once again, a great video, Thanks James. Fortunitly I live in Florida and am from the Ft. Lauderdale area, so it should be easy to make contact with such quality craftsman's. Thank you
Have been thinking of doing something like this. I've had 7 RV's since 86. Sold the last one back in 2017. Missing our times on the road and don't want to spend the money on a new rig. Great job on this coach!
👍 Nice. Shopping for a C class, I went wit a 2006 Mercedes chassis because of the straight 5 pre-DEF engine, called the Million Mile Engine. The craftsmanship and quality of the coach was a win as well compared to the newer models, I'm told. 2006J Winnebago View
Looks very nice. Minor point, but one that bugs me and I always have to deal with in any vehicle I have... I hate trailing wires on a dashboard for phones, screens or what have you. Recovering the dash so extensively, it would have been the perfect time to incorporate an unobtrusive socket on the top by the little screen to give a much more integrated look.
Wow, what a difference. Tom didn't mention anything about who had done the upgraded electronics for his coach. Do you happen to know who that was? Thanks for a great tour, and to Tom for letting us see it.
Great video and amazing upgrades to the Foretravel coach. I was looking at some used Phenix they had in Nacogdoches, but decided to keep my 2001 Marquis. I made my annual pilgrimage to the Pacific Northwest to do all my maintenance and upgrades. It is hard to beat those coaches built in Oregon that are pre-emission.
Amazing workmanship ! I agree ski is the limit. I really like the simple upgrade with the digital thermostat, wondering if that’s doable in my old coach with the old Mach 8 thermostat in mine ? Thank for sharing James .
Hi James, interesting video. I notice you tend to focus on inspection’s these days. Will you ever do videos on repairing rv defects like you did in days past?
I do videos on the work I do, I just did a repair video on multiplex modules that took an incredible amount of effor to edit while doing the repair too. I try my best
Make me feel better about my 1999 Monoco windsor, Sadly it's sitting in the shop with a cracked exhaust manifold at cummings. But I love the Monoco Designs

Big kudos to Tom for sharing his incredible project!
That was a beautiful remodel, simple upgrades that gives a great visual...very tasteful.
Thank you very much!

Thanks Tom for sitting down with our Guy and sharing resources with us. She’s beautiful
Wow....just WOW. And then you get to drive it. Lovin life
Love your channel. We bought a 2004 Tiffin Allegro Bus and also spent $$$ to bring it back to life. Couldn’t be happier!
That is awesome!
Wow, that turned out amazing! I'm glad you got the names of the places which did the work. And to be able to do a road trip out of the Keys... Bonus!

It looks great but have to say this would concern me as well and my first thought when James showed us the shower.

Amazing remodeling 😲
James, you've got the proverbial "Life of Riley" ;-)
I think it's better to be lucky... :)
Love Foretravel ! Quality coaches ! Excellent remodel !
That is amazing upholstering on that dash!
That looks better than factory.
What a great video! I had no idea that we could do that much remodeling on these great coaches.
Glad you enjoyed it!
That is a very tasteful remodel. Looks great!
WOW, amazing re-model.

Envy is a sin.
Wow!!
Beautiful Rig!!
Thank you, James
That motor home is sweet !!!!!!!
A +++ on video and owner of the coach. And A+++ on company's workmanship.

From bland to stately 💯 improvements on a timeless powerhouse coach!

I do miss my 2000 U320 and my trips to the keys. Foretravel makes a wonderful motorcoach
I have a 1971 Corvette that looks exactly like that! Super nice coach great job. Cheers
Nice Montana license plate, I too know that trick. 😉
Beautiful rig!
Wow, what a difference. Tom didn't mention anything about who had done the upgraded electronics for his coach. Do you happen to know who that was? Thanks for a great tour, and to Tom for letting us see it.
He did most of the electronics himself including the TV, I installed dimmer modules for the lights
Wonderfully done! Top marks.
Wow that's Amazing work. Very stunning how much better it looks. Kinda makes it look like something newer

Awesome video, awesome coach. What engine was that, I didn't recognize it. Thanks
425 hp cummins isl I think
Make me feel better about my 1999 Monoco windsor, Sadly it's sitting in the shop with a cracked exhaust manifold at cummings. But I love the Monoco Designs
This is a real remodel, not that bozo paint brush brigade that paints everything white and throws in all kinds of tacky garbage.
I think so too!
Yes!!!
Guy has to much money I'm sure this rig was fine before 🤣
They don't build them like the used. RVs, boats, cars, furniture, etc, etc, etc . . . .
my 2009 View interior doesnt need a remodel...and not much of a change upholstery and the rest meh
Well, hello everyone, the black was a mistake. Should never have gone there all my best to the gang Thomyt
I don’t think he is a seller or gives a fuk😂
It's better than stick , but soooo dark. Personal opinion, I'd pass on this thing
No one cares 😅
