We are the owners of this coach and just an FYI, we didn’t spend 80k on the remodel! It was more like 35k. This coach was and is in excellent condition. The remodel was strictly cosmetic. My husband told me if we bought an older coach with good bones I could remodel it to make it look how I wanted. This was the result. We were very happy with it.
That's great information. $35k is a fabulous price for everything done and it was done much better than I could hope to do it. You have great style and design choice!! $80k seemed high, but I have seen bills from many shops so......
@@jimstreit4944 there’s NO CARPET in the rig. It was all replaced with luxury woven vinyl. It’s maintenance free- waterproof so any spills just wipe up. They put it in luxury RV’s and yachts.
@Tamara Graham Hello, great job on the remodel. Very tastefully done! Did you consign this vehicle or trade it in? I just saw this video and rushed to their website to only find that it’s already pending. Thanks
So for the remodel, we recovered the furniture and headboard, new tile floors, woven vinyl wherever there was carpet, new backsplashes in bathrooms and kitchen, solid cherry wood inserts in all the upper cabinets that previously had plexiglass, new slide toppers, new awning, remodeled the valances, new washing machine, new convection stainless steel microwave, removed the mirror near dining table and replaced with magnetic chalk board where I had magnetic spices tins hanging, 1 ac replaced, new wine rack, new thermostats that are Bluetooth and able to be controlled by your phone. (You can lay in bed and change the temperature with your phone.) When we were out if the coach got too hot, like if there was a power outage in the park or something, we would get a message on our phone so we could keep our dog safe in continuous climate control when we were gone and left him home, new headlights, new tank sensors that are also Bluetooth controlled so you don’t have to go outside and check the tank levels…I think that’s it. Work was professionally done Palacio’s RV Top in Phoenix, AZ.
Man, James, they spent a king's ransom worth on this coach. Surprised at the stress cracks up top, though. Someone messed up.... the renovators did a splendid, clean job! Really nice ... shows what can be done to an RV with really good bones! 125K!!!! That thing's a steal!!
Great video James and a good example of the sweet spot in years of production. As long as mechanicals , tires , chassis etc are in good shape sounds like a deal
Just purchased a 2011 HR Ambassador, after yrs of searching for size and the wife’s needs. Much to get acquainted with over next few months. Glad to see another HR vid. Thx for your info and inspiration..
Highly recommend a side radiator model (more expensive RV!) like this one instead of the dreaded rear mounted radiator I had on my Holiday Rambler. Any little or big engine issue is made so much easier when you can actually see/access the engine without taking to closet floor out just to see the engine, especially important on an older rig when traveling!
Great vid @AZ!!... been SERIOUSLY looking at full time RV live and working from the road. Love your videos because you don't give generic " no-duhh" analysis of issues with used RVs!! Your expert analysis and experience shows in your approach!! Thank you and keep em' coming!
Really nice looking rig. Someone will enjoy that. That flooring is the carpet used in pontoon boats and marine. We redid our old camper with pontoon carpet in the 1990's and the coach also, made it a lot easier to clean the camper. The youtube channel Sailrite has a ton of do it yourself videos from window coverings, flooring, furniture and pet beds. That Imperial is hitting the sweet spots and they modernized and updated the look. Stay safe and healthy Sir.
Your videos are done so well and informative. This one was a another great one. I know your sweet spot is 2005 to 2009 but was curious what your thoughts are on a 2002 to 2004 Imperial.
I've become addicted to your channel :-) I love working on my own motorhome. You ingeniously incorporate customations based on your experience with similar issues ... love your sharing of the experience. No idea how you can work so well one handed :-)
All them "upgrades" are coming from the TinyHouse craze, replacing all the RV fixtures with home fixtures! These are TinyHouses on WHEELS baby! 😱😝😁🤪🤣👍👍🇺🇲
They really did do a good job on the remodel and like you said I can't imagine what it cost to have all that done. Swinging back to your comment few videos ago. Anything pre-def honestly is pretty much a classic rv and should be maintained with the out most care. These rv's and trucks will be very valuable in years to come with all the dumb electric push and Def systems.
I’m really impressed by this HR LTD edition. It’s definitely a good example of what you can find hidden away. Thank you for finding it James and your explanation was excellent 👌 I’d like to see it for myself but alas I’m still a couple of weeks away from moving back. It’s definitely something I’d like to buy with the roof repairs done. Perhaps I’ll call the dealership and see what we can do as I suspect it’s going to take a week or so before the repairs are completed. All the UK airports are going on strike for 10 days from Easter Friday as is most of Europe. Just in time to wreck everyone’s holidays 🙄! I’ll let you know how it goes. Thank you for your excellent inspection and walking us through this RV 🤫😉♥️💫
I love your RUclips Channel. I've been following you for the past few years. I have Subscribed. You are a wealth of knowledge. You are very intelligent. Highly experienced. Very well educated. I can tell. You are very well seasoned. You know your stuff! Thank you for all of your helpful information. I'm really concerned about that door latch on my Monaco. That's a nightmare waiting to happen. I had a guy up in Virginia. Where I used to live. He was very much like you. I was so confident with him. He was so knowledgeable and thorough like you. He really took good care of my 86 Fleetwood, Southwind. He was great! And I hadn't seen him in about, 6 years. After I moved to Texas. When I got a call from him out of the blue. Just to find out what happened to me? I told him I moved away. And that I miss his services. I asked him if he was coming to Central Texas anytime soon? He said no. He never gets down that way. Damn! So I guess? I'm going to have to make it to Arizona to see you. I want you. To go over my vehicle for me. And let me know what I need to keep it going. To keep it nice. You are worth your weight in gold. But I will have to give you dollars from the US, instead. I hope that will be adequate? I'm not a gold digger. I'm not that kind of girl. But I am fun. Just so you know. And I think I'm a little older than you at 69? I could be wrong? I don't think so. But old gals my age are, a lot more fun. After our husbands of decades, die. Now I'm Free Wheeling, again. Footloose and fancy free. And much of it now thanks to you! And all of your helpful input and expert information. Expert AZ. You do cover things from A to, Z. Thank you so much for your efforts. And your expert Information Dissemination. And your smile. You've got a great, smile. A great voice. A great delivery. I'd like to say. I never thought RV Technicians could be so sexy. But I would be lying. Because my last guy up in Northern Virginia. I'm sorry. Was more sexy, than you. Oh my God was he handsome! And he was in the middle of a divorce and a child custody case. For his daughter. He was a really good dad. If I was still up in Northern Virginia. He would be the only guys servicing my Motorhome. He is like you. He also worked for a couple of the local RV Motorhome Dealers. And did it on the side, also. He was very reasonably priced. He was very helpful. Very informative. Extremely competent. I'm certain just like you. I heard the same verbiage and rhetoric from him. I have heard from you. So I know you're good. There is no doubt in my mind, whatsoever. You are well seasoned and beyond, competent. You got it down. You know your stuff. And I want You. On my travels through, Arizona. Before I get to Southeast California or Southern Nevada. Because that's where I want to stay. In the end. On a homestead. If I can pull that off and I think I can. I am not financially flush. I'm on the leading edge of financial collapse. Like so many other retirees my age. Bad things have happened. From nefarious individuals. That like to destroy American lives for their own ill-gotten gains. And I don't like being physically attacked and robbed and beaten. I've had enough of Texas and Texans. They are the absolute worst scumbags. And I'm, outta here! In the next few weeks. By the end of July. My lease is already up. After over 8 years in this house. It's time for me to say goodbye. My younger brother is dead. My 100-year-old mother is knocking on death's door. In hospice, care. She is just waiting to die. I am beyond distraught. I'm kind of waiting for mom to go. But I can wait no longer. She's in good hands. It's a nice nursing home. I can no longer care for an, over 100-year-old, mother. It's too much for a single old person to handle. She's in God's hands now. And we are atheists. So go figure? They are taking good care of my mother. As she awaits her own passing. And so do I. Oh God? I will find you soon enough. I will buy you lunch. IOU that much. And my business. Thank you. RemyRAD
Audio is just fine. Iron Chef Joel. I like tech, outside of the Mac products we do have 2 iRobots, irrigation system controller has wifi and certainly makes working on the system easier. We use Apple Home so many of our lights are controlled with Lutron switches so we have lights going on and off as programmed, Siri helps too. We have a skylight that opens and is wifi controlled and is on Home. We have 2 ecobee3 thermostats that help us save electricity and allow us to program heating and cooling. SimpliSafe security system, we have 4 Levoit humidifiers that are wifi controlled, we have Sleep Number beds which track our sleep and adjust the air pressure if we become restless. I’ll probably buy the hub for our ceiling fans (6) so we can control them as well with wifi through Home. And on the no so tech side we have an evaporative cooler we use until about late June or early July when the monsoon begins and humidity and dew points go up. Then the AC comes on until late August early September when the cooler starts working again.
I find your video very helpful. I've been following you for a while. I would like to stop in to, Arizona. Soon. To have you go over my brand-new, 22-year-old, Monaco Knight, 34, footer. I just purchased a couple weeks ago. And I'm still loading it up with my stuff. Testing everything out. And everything appears to be, operational. With 65,100 miles on the odometer. On the 300 HP, Cummins, diesel pusher. On the Roadmaster Chassis. 4 airbags. And in near new condition. Owned by a couple of old elderly couples over the years. It was very funny. I went to the elderly couple's home. They invited me into their beautiful home. These people had great self-respect. He was a 26 year veteran in the U.S. Army as a chaplain. He was 88, she was 85. They were a lovely couple. And I asked them how many grandchildren they had? They told me 14. Oh my God! And the RV still looks like new. They told me that was because the RV was for them. Exclusively. They did not want their grandchildren on board. It was just for them. WOW. I've never heard such a thing before? But I can understand why. It was pristine.. It's really comfortable. Wonderfully Luxurious. And 100% Stock. I love stuff that is Stock. As the Manufacturer had envisioned it. As they had better engineers than I could ever be in that industry. Monaco was a fine company. One of the best. I can't believe I landed this vehicle. I never thought I would own, anything like this. Though since 2012. I have owned a 1986, Fleetwood, Southwind, 30 foot long, Gasser Motorhome. A perfect, half worn out, old, White Trash, Motorhome. Which suited me just fine. But then I discovered this Monaco. 22 years old and meticulously maintained. Everything virtually like new. Nothing with heavy use. Wow. I think I lucked out. The generator is marvelous. 7.5 kW 240 full, quiet diesel. It turns out half the RPMs of Gas Generators. And oh what a relief, it is. No more 3600 RPMs grinding away. Now it's a quiet and lazy, 1800 RPMs or so. What a joy. And even easy to forget that it's running. While it's got a 3 burner stove. Combination electric/gas, hot water heater. Gas powered heat. Propane powered, refrigerator/freezer with ice maker. I really don't like having on board Propane. I like being all, Electric. Though it has solar Panels, yet. It's largely a clean slate. And I think I shall install between 801,000 watts of solar panels. I mean why not? It's free energy. While lithium batteries are amazing. I can get by with some cheap lead acid for a while. No need to drop thousands on batteries. Not yet. Air conditioning on batteries still not really, practical. Fans, no problem. And since I love the hot dry desert temperatures. The most. That is where I will mostly hang. Though I could go northbound too, Wyoming, Washington, Oregon, Montana. I am not much interested in Idaho.. As, Idaho. So they don't have to be. With my man-made pussy. Where is Donald Trump when I need him? I need a pussy pinch! I could use the payoff money. I won't tell anybody! Where is Donnie? Oh,, Donnie. Where are you, Donnie? Come for me, Donnie. I need your pussy grabbing. Where are you, Donnie? Hiding on me are you? I wish you were. Hiding on me. You can get on my back, anytime. Or my front.. I spent a lot of money for my man-made pussy. I want mine Grabbed by the Manboy. Donnie Trump. RemyRAD
Nice video and coach. I had to laugh at your bloopers. Don’t you hate it when you know exactly what you want to say, but the words are just not coming out. 😂😂
Nice video James! Looks great for a Holiday Rambler! Great price. Certainly worth it I would think. I'd still want the motor checked out and a few other things. But it looks great!
Very nice James I find it kinda funny that rv manufacturers are using 2002 to 2005 dodge ram taillights I first saw them on a friend of mine’s holiday rambler
Nice unit and good video. But I am biased because I just bought the exact same make, year, model and with the LE package. The light fixtures on the wall and front seats appear to be original as I have the same. My refrigerator looks the same as well. Not that it looks bad but I will also bet that is original cabinet hardware as it looks exactly the same as what I have on me LE. But I need to get the carpeting and thermostats they used on this one! It looks great!
I enjoy your videos and expertise on condition and what needs repaired. Sent link to my son who has a Holiday Rambler. Do you have any idea what the name of the product is they used under the sofas and other areas? Thank you and please keep making your videos!
James, Awesome remodel. The tile was not looking very good at 16:40. They should fix that. Did they say that they replaced all the doors for the new hardware or are you thinking they did? The brochure for that year showed drawer pull example in polished brass with two screws, not one in the single. After hearing the price, they should let the tile go. Thanks for showing it! Kevin
Buying that coach is going to save a bundle each year on property taxes compared to a newer model (where I live anyway), because it will be taxed on book value, not how much was invested.
Ok, so answer me this... Why not put in another $50K and have the sidewalls replaced? Remove the thermal checking and repaint. This will be an absolutely beautiful coach!!
lots of features i like i like the carpet and would upgrade my 2006 camalot to that woven but the previous owners had just replaced the carpet before i bought it in sept 2022. since this one has the micro air i wanted to know more of what you think of them mainly do you know if it works better with a hydro hot because my old dometic 5 button SUCKED i did just order a micro air and it will be here on monday i am excited for that thanks in advance and keep this up i like it all
Hello my fellow rv tech. Is there a way I can chat with you, I’m working on a dometic fridge and I’m pulling my hair out. Dometic has been no help at all.
How does the tile hold up? Would this work in a gas model? We have a really sad looking cockpit with doghouse. Has carpet. Looks like remnants and a 5 y/o installed it with fraying edges. Wife wants something else. Not sure what to do. Hard to believe 2017 new rig would be so bad. We sure got a lemon. For the way you like to speak of HR. I'm not impressed.
😳 125k... that's a great price in my opinion. Man that's is a shame I hate to know what they gave on the trade in for this that's a shame for the person that sold it. Shit I paid that for my class b lol. What a steal, that won't be on the lot long that's for sure.
James has become a salesman against what I liked about him as a repair guy...although better then the shyster Andrew Steele who bilked followers out of hundreds of thousands of dollars and James still supports... I like James...wish he would stop the commodification garbage
I think it got wet indoors. I have a perfectly Stock. 2002 Monaco Knight. With its original natural wood flooring. And told. It had never gotten flooded. I checked it out well. And I believe that to be honest. I also smelled around very carefully. Checked deep inside all the cabinets at their seems. No signage of wetness in my new used Monaco. That's five years older than that one. And so that one was likely, submitted to. A gaggle of children or childlike adults. And it got amply, trashed inside. And sure. They spent $80,000 restoring it. Otherwise? Nobody would ever want it, again. It would be unlivable. It would be Black Mold Junction. It would be the Coach of Death. And so I got my 34 footer for $25,000. I think I win. Slightly more than bluebook value. But appears to be very, worth it. From a couple of very worthy old retired couples. With no, grandchildren trashing. And Sarah told me that her old Bill. Had fun playing with the Air Horns. A lot. As I guess that's all a, 88-year-old can eject, anymore. And finally had to give up. And sell it, to me. I was very grateful. I think I lucked out. And so while that might be a beautiful reupholster job. Along with both couches in leather. Leather doesn't really go bad. What was wrong with the previous, leather? Not the right color? Eggshell instead of gray? And so you spend, what? $5000 reupholstering each couch? Why? What happened? Something, happened. It wasn't just modernizing. Everything got wet and rotted. It may have been sitting underwater for weeks? Of course they would ask, $125,000. They had to work their asses off to restore that rotted out, Motor home. I mean come on now? Mine has all of this beautiful natural, stained, wood, throughout. In, Showroom Condition. All original stock. Even the dashboard radio. Which is going into the Trash. Replacing all the ceiling speakers. And adding extra Studio Monitor Speakers. Throughout the vehicle. I have multiple pairs. I don't need any real shades on the windows. The,, 40 inch, 46 inch and 65 inch LCD displays. Do a good job of that. And the day shades are down. To protect the back of the LCD Monitors from getting over baked by the sun. Strangely enough. The rooftop has, No Solar Panels. And so? I believe in Modular Power Distribution, systems. Where I think. I may have a separate solar panel, and battery system. For each TV, computer, sound system and other, electrical items. And if one should break. It can be powered up from one of the others and piggybacked. Until that one can be serviced and repaired. So you are never out of power. From batteries and solar panels. With too many strung together and daisychained. If one goes down. The whole system goes down. These are not brick-and-mortar homes. This is 21st Century Living. And we have to do it a little differently. Go Modular. You might only need a 50 watt solar panel. And lightweight battery and inverter. To power up each TV. And you actually save money from the modularity. You can piggyback a few things to begin with. And keep building out from there. There's so many ways to go about this. Mine is truly haphazard. And all spontaneous. I just love your RUclips Channel. Thanks for all the help! You make me realize. I have stupidly been doing a lot of things right. And much of it thanks to input from you. That's why I got this used Monaco. I have you to thank. It's all your fault. Thank you. I needed this. I never thought I would own one. But you made it possible for me. You showed me what to look for on Monaco''s. Thank you thank you thank you. I love you. I want to come see you. Not for romantic reasons. But I would like you to look under my hood and check me out. Or, so to speak. I will also buy you dinner. You show me a good local restaurant. And we will have no problems. I am buying dinner. You helped me out. I would have never gotten one of these were not for you. And also, Liz Amazing. I think she had an Alpha? That also had a connection to Monaco and Holiday Rambler? Something like that? And what is yours again? Another offshoot from Monaco? And I guess that really says, it all. And what you have. And what she has. And how you both talked about them. And now I have a trashed out 1986, Fleetwood Southwind 30 footer. To get rid of. Likely to junk. I had it since 2012. It's recoverable. But a lot of rodent damage has been done. And the rear passenger side body mount shock absorber mount. Is, busted off from the body frame. Nobody wants to try and re-weld it. I'm not going to, myself. And so that's a small problem. If you drive gently with only one, shock absorber on the driver side rear. Yeah no. That is not good. I did not take it off road. Or on roads with potholes. I don't think it would have survived. It served its purpose. It got me, going. And looking forward to my Nomadic Retirement. Until I can't any longer. I figure I have another 10-15 years in me. To get back to my camping roots. I was introduced to camping as a kid. Starting with my grandparents cottage on the shores of Lake Erie. It was a cottage. It wasn't exactly like home. It was a couple of miles down a dirt road. And then Lake Erie smelled really bad. Lots of dead fish floating about. One year. The lake caught on fire. The water was burning. They couldn't put it out. Water does not normally burn. The lake was declared, dead. You did not eat fish from Lake Erie. It was far too, Erie. To think about eating fish out of that lake, anymore. At the height of the Detroit Auto Industry. Throughout the 1960s. When I came into my own one night. At 8 years of age. When I suddenly woke up. With this, incredible feeling. Wondering if this is what daddy told me about? What is this sticky mess? WOW! I'm ready! To become a father at 8 years of age. Yeah no. I just wanted to be a kid. Screw girls! Later. 10 years, later. Though I did have multiple opportunities along the way. Between 15 and 18. I never took advantage of those opportunities. That were offered up to me. By older women. I thought it was pretty funny. I thought what a great opportunity to lose my virginity! But I decided to wait for just the right girl. To fall into my life. I mean it's not every day. A 15-year-old voice drops solo. That I could walk into a downtown Baltimore, Famous Titty Bar. An order a beer all by myself. At 15 years of age in, early 1971. I thought that was pretty cool for a 15-year-old. Who was already sounding like, a 35-year-old, Don Lafontaine. It was pretty funny. What do you want? I'll take a Budweiser. Here you go. How much is that?! I never said a thing about the price. I figured it was the cost for the show. And then one of those pretty. All naked girls. Comes off the Bar Stage. And starts to work the patrons. Around the bar. She comes up to this 15-year-old. Having a beer. And grabs me by the crotch. And tells me. She will FUCK me for $20 in the back. I said I don't have $20. She asked me how much I had? I said I have $14. She said I will FUCK you in the back for $14. Well I am also Jewish. And that sounds like she was on sale! What a bargain! But no. I decided to wait. She asked me to buy her a champagne. I said okay. The bartender gave her ginger ale. And charged me for champagne. What the hell? But it was worth every penny. To a 15-year-old. What a fun time I had at 15 years of age. Just to see if I could. And… I could I did. Without overdoing it. RemyRAD
Now wait, wait wait wait here just a moment, Bub. Something happened to this unit. For a Restoration. To have all of the beautiful, stained natural wood, cabinet doors. All replaced. How badly ragged out were the originals? How many gashes, magic markers, paint. Got all over them? Look I have this 2002 Monaco Knight, 34 footer. I just purchased. And everything inside is like new, Stock. Who needs a 20 something-year-old classic, updated, upgraded? It has a convection microwave. All the TVs have been replaced with, Flat-panel LCDs with larger screens. I am currently updating the sound system. With brand-new speakers. And recording studio monitors. It's getting a major Audio Upgrade. And nowhere. Where you can't see an LCD display. That is 40 inches, 46 inches and 65 inches, respectively. Not including the smaller ones. And then the numerous outdoor cameras. All being recorded. All, of the time. Never an, off moment. As it is never off. And connected to the Wireless Router. As no one needs to be out of touch, any longer. Technologically. Most everything we have today. Is, well beyond. That which they had. In, 23rd Century, Star Trek. We got there first. Our smart phones do more. Than, their old futuristic, multiple items. Communicator, Tri-Corder,, Medical Scanner. Our smart phones do that all. And high resolution video recording. And what did they have? They had bullshit in the 23rd century Star Trek. Bullshit! They had GMRS walkie-talkies! We have Video Phones. That can call the other side of the planet. In our pockets. So what we will have in the 23rd Century is anybody's, guess? If any of us are still, alive? Maybe, no? After November, 2024. Or July, 2025. When the MAGA Faction, Attacks! And run roughshod over the American people. Just like Vladimir Puking did with Ukraine. The same will be paralleled, here. With our new breed of World Cup dictators. Aren't we lucky? A civil war. Will end. Their incivility. Dead. RemyRAD
I do not fully agree with you on the Wine guard TV antenna. I have found in the down position. The inability to rotate. Makes for some pretty crappy TV. I had purchased one of those smaller, enclosed dome, directional TV antennas. That can fit over that large hole. And somehow that hole can be mostly plugged. And then I would have a TV antenna that can be rotated, remotely. As Digital OTA, TV. Ain't quite like old analog TV was.. You either have a solid bitstream or you don't. And constant digital glitching is exhausting. It's bad on the nervous system. So is the problem with raising and lowering those things that it stresses the mounting area? And better left, unfolded? I am a TV Junkie. I find crappy reception, intolerable. Especially after working 20 years for NBC-TV. As one of their Top Engineers. So? This low-profile gizmo is said to do a good job. But I personally do not want to mount it, myself. I got it at an incredible sales day event. And now I got this, New Used, 2002, Monaco Motorhome. I think I am beyond overjoyed. I could never imagine owning such a beautiful unit as this. And the only bummer is? Driver side rear view mirror mount has partially come loose. And this model. Only had 3 of 4, available slide outs. The second, bedroom slide out that creates an office. Not part of this unit. Dammit Jim! I'm a Retiree not a Doctor! And 3 out of 4, ain't bad. As beggars cannot be choosers. And it was only about 10 miles, away from me. So I leapt, at the opportunity. I tried to talk him down $1000. But he was firm at $25,000. Okey-dokey then I said. Sold! And it's the most elaborate and luxurious item. I have ever purchased, for myself. It now will become my Permanent Home on the Nomadic Road of Freedom. In our Beautiful Country. We are also very lucky. To live in and be a part of. My country right or wrong. But not when my countrymen are trying to wrong, me. Because they don't like my gender. At that is very American of them. I don't like them, very much. I don't like being attacked. As a very vulnerable, disabled and handicapped. Dying old woman, widow. Of nearly 69. Texans are Scumbag Nazis. They find the most vulnerable to physically attack. It is completely unconscionable, unthinkable, unfathomable. Extremist and insane.. I mean just what the FUCK? What the hell is wrong with people today? That crazed extremist Americans now find it necessary. To declare war upon other Americans, THEY DON'T LIKE. And what then? Do we have? We have a Permanent Condition of Chaos and unrest. No rest. RemyRAD

Man, James, they spent a king's ransom worth on this coach. Surprised at the stress cracks up top, though. Someone messed up.... the renovators did a splendid, clean job! Really nice ... shows what can be done to an RV with really good bones! 125K!!!! That thing's a steal!!
Thanks for the tour and the highlights James. Always great to see a well-maintained older coach
Thank you James for bringing us along for this inspection. Impressive remodel. Looks like a great opportunity.
Happy trails!
Wow!!! Love this RV!!!!❤
Thank you so much. Imperioals are great units!
Enjoying the videos recently. Appreciate the updates.
That is a great price James. That Cummins is just broke in, especially pre-DEF.
James, as usual you did a phenomenal job on your inspection of this sweet coach.
Thank you James, nice to see how the other half lives, I couldn't afford the tires on that 😊
Thanks for showing that beauty!
Wow, fantastic coach. Checks all the boxes when it comes to Monaco products
Thank you.
RemyRAD
Thank you James, always love your videos.
beautiful coach, great price,,,,,TKS Teach!
That is a beautiful remodel job.
Your knowledge of RV's is so extensive! ☺ An RV vs A RV?
Looks very nice, they did great work on the remodel Hope the tile floor is heated. 👍😎🦅🇺🇸
Wow ...
Good price !
As always ..TY

Those stink bugs are somethin' else. They won't go away!
Thank James really nice coach for the money
Nice video and coach. I had to laugh at your bloopers. Don’t you hate it when you know exactly what you want to say, but the words are just not coming out. 😂😂
Thank you James. That is a beautiful coach for $125k.
Wow....Nice looking coach. You should have had your Hillbilly RV hat on. You could have really tipped your hat.
The way to go. Buy an older, solid RV and remodel it to your taste. Best of both worlds.
Huge investment, nice coach. Still prefer bus conversions. I'll keep dreaming. 😊
I bet that only gives you more ideas and incentives for your coach!!
Beautiful kind of what I plan to look for in 2 years…I was thinking it would’ve had a DD60 or 500 Cummins that would be icing on the cake
Awesome video & info , thx so much 👍 luv your expert advice & videos . 👍⚾️
Very well done. That price seems amazing for what you get.
Nice video James! Looks great for a Holiday Rambler! Great price. Certainly worth it I would think. I'd still want the motor checked out and a few other things. But it looks great!
Naturally
What a fabulous price!
Thanks for the tour! Where did the Imperial fall in the level of luxury at Monaco?
Thank you for a great work
Beautiful
GREAT BUS, BETTER PRICE. LOVE IT‼️‼️ Vinny 🇺🇸
Nice job James I'm looking at some coaches looking at a newmar not sure how you like newmar I'll have to check back on some videos good job brother
P.S. the bloopers at the end are the best
Very nice James I find it kinda funny that rv manufacturers are using 2002 to 2005 dodge ram taillights I first saw them on a friend of mine’s holiday rambler
Great video I would be interested in the hours on the generato and the DOT Numbers on the tires
Question I have a 2003 Dutch star don't see any cover on the inside to remove ac unit on roof
its bolted from above
@@AZExpert I meant 2003 dutch star
Beautiful Coach do you know how sound the trans and motor is
Lol funny you mention making sure ac shroud is tight on way through AZ I saw dometic low profile ac cover on side of the interstate.
Love the channel. This rv is really nice, love the color scheme on this one. Do you ever do inspections on American Eagle rvs?
JUST GORGEOUS
9 miles per gallon @ $5.50 per gallon
Nice unit and good video. But I am biased because I just bought the exact same make, year, model and with the LE package. The light fixtures on the wall and front seats appear to be original as I have the same. My refrigerator looks the same as well. Not that it looks bad but I will also bet that is original cabinet hardware as it looks exactly the same as what I have on me LE. But I need to get the carpeting and thermostats they used on this one! It looks great!
Yes, the Micro Air is wireless and bluetooth .... I got em in my FW and love them.
Love it!
Have ever used Azdel composite sheets when replacing luaun ?
You make me nervous with you walking around up there
I enjoy your videos and expertise on condition and what needs repaired. Sent link to my son who has a Holiday Rambler. Do you have any idea what the name of the product is they used under the sofas and other areas? Thank you and please keep making your videos!
The Bluetooth radio and slide topper material were optional from the factory.
@ about 20:14, I'm not sure that is a seat.... maybe a foot step for washing/shaving ones legs?
James, Awesome remodel. The tile was not looking very good at 16:40. They should fix that. Did they say that they replaced all the doors for the new hardware or are you thinking they did? The brochure for that year showed drawer pull example in polished brass with two screws, not one in the single. After hearing the price, they should let the tile go. Thanks for showing it! Kevin
I have a 2003 la palma motorhome is there a way to use a drill to bring jacks down
Anything to do about the black side cracking? Will waxing help when cracked? Prevent cracking?
hey james you got any use for the hwh monaco slide out mechanism chain? i got a new old stock one.
👍🏽
Buying that coach is going to save a bundle each year on property taxes compared to a newer model (where I live anyway), because it will be taxed on book value, not how much was invested.
Like your note taking system - harkens back to grammar school cheating notes. 😂😂😂
Ok, so answer me this... Why not put in another $50K and have the sidewalls replaced? Remove the thermal checking and repaint. This will be an absolutely beautiful coach!!
Do you do inspections for hire?
Where do we find that floor
lots of features i like i like the carpet and would upgrade my 2006 camalot to that woven but the previous owners had just replaced the carpet before i bought it in sept 2022. since this one has the micro air i wanted to know more of what you think of them mainly do you know if it works better with a hydro hot because my old dometic 5 button SUCKED i did just order a micro air and it will be here on monday i am excited for that thanks in advance and keep this up i like it all
it is a great t-stat. I think the graphics that show the mode are confusing as can be though.
@@AZExpert What did this RV sell for?
Hello my fellow rv tech. Is there a way I can chat with you, I’m working on a dometic fridge and I’m pulling my hair out. Dometic has been no help at all.
Is there a long lasting filler for white fiberglass stress cracks?
none that I know of, it checks from the epoxy
Needs recliners & a big screen TV on a televator.
LOL
How strong are the roofs? Will a 250lb man be able to walk the top?
absolutely. These rigs are built like a brick shit house. They last forever.
Change out the sealant on the roof and you should be good for another 85k miles
It’s because the coach was pre def . If i was rich I’d do it to.
😳 125k... that's a great price in my opinion. Man that's is a shame I hate to know what they gave on the trade in for this that's a shame for the person that sold it. Shit I paid that for my class b lol. What a steal, that won't be on the lot long that's for sure.
I wish I had a spare $125k.
Is that the Price ? Look at their website and cant find it
@@mikemoxley9477
Yes, $125k, mentions it at the end
@24:35
$125k not bad at all!!
Am I the only one that gets dizzy watching him walk on the roof of these RV's, especially on the edges 🤣
When they do all these upgrades…is there something major that they are trying to mask sometimes…..
No just to update and that quality is overkill to hide something
so this one is for sale, or already pending?
its for sale, just came in this week premiumcoachgroup.com
Great vid, low energy salesmen failed huge.
James, we sent you an email to your Gmail account about a job/video on a 1 of 7 Monaco.
Sometimes you remind me of my wife.

No rest.
