    Thank you so much for the information. This is really helpful. I have 2 days to fill out this form and the recruiter has not answer my question relating to the signing part.

      What was your question? There are 2 signature lines on the 306. 1 you sign before as the applicant. The 2nd you sign in orientation as the appointee.

    Good evening!! Thanks for this amazing video! Credit question: Does having a high amount of credit card debt causes red flag for public trust clearance? I dont have any collections, student loan, owed taxes, bankruptcies or public records

    • @federalhiringadvice1385
      @federalhiringadvice1385  7 месяцев назад +2

      You're welcome! Lower level investigations don't even pull your credit report so as long as you aren't behind on payments you should be fine. One exception would be if your job required a purchase or travel card and you didn't have good enough credit to be approved. That could be an issue.

    Great video! For non-sensitive positions, do you have to complete the equip form? My position is stated as “non-risk.”

    Quick unrelated question, I received an offer from the us space force. Do you know if they give annual bonuses in addition to the Base GS salary?

    Bankrupcy question- the OF 306 and eqip/eapp cover bankrupcy, but specifically ask about last 7 years. For TS clearance, or any clearance, is it recommended to include old bankruptcies longer than 10 years? I currently have zero debt besides home loan, and answered all financial questions honestly, because my bankrupcy was outside of 7 (13 years ago). Should I mention this during the in person interview with BI?

      You can let them know anytime so it can be fixed. It populates from the onboarding questionnaire so you have to change it there.

    A person with a DUI can work for the government?

    • @federalhiringadvice1385
      @federalhiringadvice1385  4 месяца назад +1

      Yes they can. Would just be reviewed as part of the investigation. Things that could matter are how long ago and if it was more than once.

    Is prior military service considered "employment by the Federal Govt" regarding section 18?

    • @federalhiringadvice1385
      @federalhiringadvice1385  2 месяца назад

      Since you include your military time at the top of the form section 18 would just be federal civilian service.
