A well done and very succinct and to the point analysis of the series. While I do think there a number of themes explored within each season (and with each of the core characters), you definitely pinpointed the central ones. While Buffy will always be the more groundbreaking show, I've always related, and therefore enjoyed, Angel a bit more as it's themes related much more closely to experiences I had in my life, even in my youth. Especially it's core theme of "Fighting the good fight" and "If there's no great glorious end to all this, if nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do. 'Cause that's all there is. What we do. Now. Today". I feel that is the main theme Joss and the writers wanted to convey with Buffyverse in general, but I feel Angel the series hits the sweet spot with it's characters and framing, and with much more finesse and clarity. That being said, I've enjoyed your videos and analysis, and I hope you continue on and keep up the great work.

That thumbnail was hilarious on hindsight. 'Angel' ran for 5 seasons and the 3rd season starred with only 5 characters. Good one! 😂👍
