But, with your tutorials, my confidence has blossomed. I have finally found a craft that I feel proud to make gifts for friends and family. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful gifts.

    I have a question, when I try using the flat knit (u wrap), my stitches get tight and it becomes bit hard for the loop to come over. Do you have a technique that when using the u wrap knit, the stitches be bit loose not so tight?

    • @LoomaHat
      @LoomaHat  Год назад +1

      The rule is that the more you "bend" the loop before you knit-off the looser the stitch. Another things is when we try to "fix" it we make it worst. Here's a post with a video i hope will help some: www.loomahat.com/stitch-is-too-tight/

  • @A-C_Creations
    @A-C_Creations Год назад

    Thanks for sharing. I was looking for a RUclips video yesterday how to make heart and couldn’t find a lot of videos. Thanks again for sharing! Question, if I use a smaller gauge loom for one of the doll patterns, do I knit the same amount of rows or how many rows would I do? I want to make one of the tiny dolls on my new loom I just received. I am making a little bunny right now but it doesn’t seem long enough. I did the same exact rows on my bigger gauge loom.

    • @LoomaHat
      @LoomaHat  Год назад +1

      Usually, when you change the gauge or the loom size, the pattern peg and row count needs to change. Most of my written patterns include only one size because to know peg and row count you need to knit the pattern completely , sometimes several times to get it right. It can be extremely time consuming and unfortunately I usually have another project on my calender.

      Yes but you will need a add a few more rows to the project and it will be larger.

  • @lphs1994
    @lphs1994 Год назад +1

    I wonder if these could be worked up on another loom (say the 24 peg). I really dont want to spend more money on another loom...

    • @LoomaHat
      @LoomaHat  Год назад +1

      That is smart. Thanks for asking. Yes you can knit the little heart with the 24. Just add a few more rows, like 3 more and see if you’re comfortable with the look of that size. You can add more or less til you like it. That project is done so quickly you can finish dozens in minutes.

      You can use the 24 peg loom, add more stitches and more rows to get a larger heart. I believe Scarlett Royal has a much bigger version. You can do a Google search for that video. Hope that helps some.
