The atmosphere was amazing at the ground, we really enjoyed the game. One thing I wish would be spoken about more was the weather - it was terrible and you could see players losing their footing sometimes.
I hoped Aggie Beever-Jones losing the ball that led to the goal would be mentioned. Sarina did pick up on it, in her blunt Dutch style. It seemed a short time to allow her to try to make an impact and she seemed to be too keen. It was good that it did not stop a win and she can learn from it, but also this qualification format, with all games being against top teams, seems to stop the chance to develop players against lower teams, which must be even worse for such as Ireland or previously for Scotland.
Love how convincing direct and gutsy she sounds ( much more like a winner in her manner than ....) ....not being english maybe ...direct with players is something they SAY they like ...maybe true after first shock of not having english beating about the bush as before her reign ...downside is MAYBE ...some more forthright english girls like Mary Earps and Alex Greenwood could have got on the wrong side of her...cant see any other reason for not playing worldwide star like Alex...i think she is not a person to get on the wrong side of ....the english will shy away from that comment ...i like that hard take but not if it stops a star from playing when she should be
Worried about the Lionesses constant decline in form since the euros...they will have no chance of anything in the next euros unless they regain the form they enjoyed and admit maybe they had a lot of it because they were playing at home
