I really like how balanced she is ...never tempted to whitewash the game ...oh no everything is perfect kind of garbage you hear from some managers

England were playing a team Ireland that went totally professional about two years ago..the Irish are learning quickly did well against France ,Australia, USA, and now England, improving all the time, Campbell has been injured for three years the human howitzer has been missing, Sweden will face this soon as will France and England ...get the feeling Ireland will fill the Aviva soon maybe even Croke Park...❤

The highlight for me was how far that Irish player could throw the ball from a throw in! I have never ever seen anything like that before in all my years of watching footy. Do the women use a different kind of ball than the men?

They use same ball as men. Some yeqrs ago in premier league there was player called Rory delap and he use to throw the ball like thqt I think he played for Stoke or Southampton

@@derekpurcell937 Thanks for that Derek. . I remember the name Rory Delap. I was so impressed by that irish woman's throw. Check out the film 'The Keeper' on bbc iplayer about that German goalie. He broke his neck in the FA cup final. Don Revie was in the goalie's side too. Also, check out Vic Wright on wiki - played for Liverpool in the 30s - he was my grandfather. Seriously, in those days they used to have 9 pints before they went onto the pitch.

The girls played very well tonight and improved performance. Our 2nd pen was not a pen the ball came off the top of her leg and onto her hand which in my opinion doesnt count so i was slightly pleased to see it hit the post. Next time we play it will be against France so looking forward to then.

Good first half but in the second we r strugglin.
Whn we play team like Spain, france, italy or any stronger team we hve to try more from outside the box.
Our strikers must hve the gut to try n more tries mean more opputinities to get goals.
Russo,mead,ella,lj,hemp,kelly..They must take every chances n create goals...so try more n no regret bout tht.
    REMEMBER..
WE R THE CHAMPION N WE R STILL THE BEST.☠☠☠

She, and her training staff, is as inept for the Lionesses, as is Jonas Eidevall for Arsenal women's team; they both have the ideal centre forward capable of scoring but have not yet worked out who is best able to give her the full support she needs. Russo is always the one to be substituted because she doesn't score enough goals; how the hell can she score when she doesn't get the service she needs to score? It's time Wiegman organised the team from centre forward to goalkeeper rather than leave her front runner unsupported. England won last night but it was a very uninspiring display.

were lucky were not playing these top teams (well france is going to be a big test) we were very lack luster again, flat, easy 2 goals, didnt look a threat going forward. Russo has defiantly lost her form, if its not there for her to Tap-In....shes not doing anything else. With have serious problems if shes considered our trusted N01 Striker. Since the euros great win we are a shadow of our former selfs. Big teams use to fear us back then.....Now, even the grandma's sunday pub team in Doncaster would beat their weekend Bingo money on winning or getting a draw with us.

Only Spain are better than us, at least that is what the world ratings say. What I don't understand is that during the Euros Sarina played the same eleven in every game. Now she changes the team every game. She isn't playing Kelly in order to find a role for Lauren James and that isn't helping performance at the moment. that said, James is a talent worth persevering with.

Did you see the game? the ball didn't reach her, she had to return many times to help the midfield, and I noticed that Kirby had great opportunities, but the shots didn't go in and the penalty that Alex missed? there are other players who could take advantage of the penalty, Ireland closed the wings because that was England's strong point.

Ireland closed Russo off so she got no service, has nothing to do with "form" but tactics.

@@eleo1484 Exactly, despite Russo moving all over the field, Daly was also unable to do anything due to the marking

    • @Mark_106
      @Mark_106 6 месяцев назад

@@eleo1484 playing a lone striker (firstly, youve got to be really good to play that role on your own, secondly, thats what defenders do "Close you off") the fact shes not creative enough..ie: running with the ball going past defenders, shots on target etc she no longer looks that person (for a long time now) if shes in the box and its a simple header or tap in she ok, but you'd expect more. Rachel Daly on the other hand is more consistent, even Hemp shoots more than Russo.

Very mediocre game the team does not like look like they are playing together as they have been I don't think the captain is any good for them whatsoever
