My 450EXC 4.0 came with 3 Blue/ 3 Gold. I ended up 3 Blue/ 3 Red (2 steps). It didn’t freewheel on me last ride, but might try one step lighter. It doesn’t really creep in gear yet.

Jeff, how are you liking the new 24 500? I’m still riding and loving my 20. Is there a huge difference between them in your opinion. I know the 24 has a stiffer chassis from what I read.

Hello James:
I love the new 500, just waiting for springtime for the mtns to thaw. There are huge differences between the `24 and `20. If you use your bike for pussy trails or dual sport, then what you have is fine. If you like to ride gnarly trails, the new model changes are worthwhile.
