      There are many factors in teaching yourself to talk Japanese quickly . A resource I discovered that succeeds in merging these is the Fergs Magic Blueprint (google it if you're interested) without a doubt the best remedy that I've heard of. Check out all the great information .

    OMG I love EVERYTHING Japanese! I'm trying to learn Japanese. When I was about 14 years old I taught myself Spanish, now I speak it pretty fluently and it wasn't half as hard as Japanese. It's so freaking hard but I'm just gonna keep learning until I'm able to speak it fluently and engage in Japanese conversations. Even if I have to spend my whole life learning it! It's totally worth it! I'm in love with Japan okay! Thank you! Harigato gosaimasu!

Even if I don't make it to Japan before I die at least I've learned something. Japan is like heaven on earth, It's a strikingly flashy place with a deep culture and what makes me feel better is that there is people there willing to learn other cultures. If there was nothing but lofty people there at least you can say it looks nice :D

      Hi organn Volkmann,
      Thank you for posting.
      New language sounds completely meaningless to you if you don't understand grammar and the meaning of each word.
      So I think learning grammar is useful to learn how to pronounce.
      Why don't you read textbooks aloud?
      Hope this helps you.
      Keep studying with JapanesePod101.com

    Hi! I am currently a student in a Science High School here in the Philippines and planning to get a scholarship in the Embassy of Japan to study there or stay in a University here that has a "Japanese Studies" course. These tutorials are really helping me since I get to pronounce the words right rather than just by reading it. :D Hopefully I can visit Japan and try my Nihonggo skills. :)

    Hello Hiroko and thank you for making such an informative video! It really helps! I just have one quick question, what would you say is more important to understand first, speaking Japanese, reading Japanese, listening to and understanding Japanese, or writing in Japanese? I personally think understanding Japanese is top priority but I don't even know 3 kanji. Thanks!

      I realize they're both correct, but is there a general preference in using either or?
      What I'm trying to ask is: is there a significant difference between the two (such as politeness)?

    • @sydonagaudet5083
      @sydonagaudet5083 8 лет назад +1

      +That Random Guyーさん There is a difference in politness, 'お元気ですか?' is more polite than '元気ですか?'

    • @RavenStormbringer
      @RavenStormbringer 8 лет назад

      +That Random Guyーさん I hope I'm not stepping on any toes here, but the "O" is an honorific. You'll find it used in various places as you study. Yes, the honorifics signify a more polite speech pattern, without actually changing the word. For example saying "yes" instead of "yea" or "yep" in English.
