Have you watched my video, What to Wear at Home When You Don't Feel Like Getting Dressed? You can watch it here: bit.ly/3k8bHr3 Thanks so much for watching my videos! 💖
I love WW! I need to lose 80 pounds to have bilateral knee replacements. I started July 15 and have lost 52 pounds in 6 months! It is definitely a life style program. I’m 67 and I just couldn’t lose weight until I joined WW. I love the flexibility. Good luck to you Cathy.
The journey of 1000 miles starts with one step. As long as you find food you like and a system that works for you... it'll go great! Keep up the good work :)
Congratulations, Cathy. Take it slow the weight will come off. I'm not on WW. I've just changed what I eat. At the beginning of 2022 I was in the hospital for 5 weeks. That's a good incentive to change the way to eat. I had back surgery and even now I still can't walk well without a walker. I have lost a little more than 55 pounds during 2022. It's not easy when you can't walk and you're already 78 years old. But I'm doing it. And now We're doing it - whatever way works for you. Congratulations! 🙂❤🙂
I did it. Last night, after watching this video (and watching for a while), I signed up. First time ever on WW so I'm trying not to be overwhelmed with trying to figure out how to do everything. They had an offer for one of their fancy schmancy scales for free, and I believe it automatically tracks weight, BMI, etc. back to WW too. So...hopefully this will beat the thyroid/menopause/bad decisions triple threat!! Plus, all the holiday meals and treats are gone now so that helps a ton!!
Hi Cathy, congratulations on your recent weight loss with Weight Watchers!! I have never done well with WW in the past. For this year I'm going to try to focus on reducing my sugar consumption and practice Intermittent Fasting for my weight loss and a more healthy lifestyle. Thank you for being so open about both your weight loss struggles and success with all of us. You are an inspiration!! Thank you again for sharing.
Hello Cathy! Im so excited to see you doing WW! Or I guess they call it Weight Watchers now. Do you know Barrett Pastor, Living life on Track? She is a sweet heart! She does Weight Watchers too and she is one of my favorites. So glad to have you now too for support. Love, Allie
I am so happy I found your channel. I have to lose 40 pounds and I am 51. I started WW again in 2023. My downfall is sugar 😢. This is my first week to do the plan. Please keep the videos coming. This one was very motivational.
Congratulations Cathy! I'm so happy for you. I've lost 40 of the 45 I wanted to lose in a year and a half and I agree that it's a journey - and also that you do need a total mindset change to stick with it. This is the most successful I've ever been and it took just what you said - seeing this not as a diet, but as a total lifestyle change. Another key to success was shifting my "why am I doing this?" from "being slim" to "being healthy." With that new goal it was so much easier to stick with planning and tracking healthy meals. All the very best - if I can do it I know you can too!
I've lost 90 and want another 15-20 gone. Started in May 2021. You are so right about having to do what works for YOU and respecting another person's totally different method ( I have had people tell me it is stupid to do what I do, but it's worked and I have kept it off). I personally would go nuts counting calories and weighing food etc, and would have given up, doing that. I do OMAD ( one meal a day) and because I have never liked eating before evening, I cannot imagine having to mess about with breakfast or lunch food. I am proof that even eating during one particular time span you can still eat too much and gain weight. It was all the late night snacking that caused my excess weight ( and having my kids) so I stopped all that, and have a small portion of whatever I'm cooking for other people, or sometimes don't bother (I have some days where I don't eat at all and I actually love that because it makes cravings go away). Well done so far Cathy.
Congratulations on your weight loss ! You are off to a great start ! I’m thinking about joining WW again so I appreciate your video on the new plan. My weight loss is always an up and down roller coaster, a few pounds down then a few back up. The end result of losing weight is worth it, no matter how long it takes your body to do it ! I wish you continued success on your journey !!
Congratulations, Cathy, on a great week! I think you have the right mindset. Small attainable changes are better than big changes that you can not keep up.
Hi Kathy, I am big weight watchers fan 10 years ago. I went to Weight Watchers and I lost 50 pounds it took one year to the date and I was 65 , doing maintenance for the last 10 years, but I found that I still was I was still not getting enough protein, I did some research, and I found different formulas .6.- 1 gram per your goal weight protein. This and only eating during daylight hours has helped to maintain my weight loss. I hope this little bit of information helps you , good luck on your journey. You can do this!
I just rejoined too! So far I love the simplicity of the current plan and lost 5 lbs my first week. I'll be looking forward to more of your videos. Thank you.
Hi Cathy! I used WW 20 years ago and lost 100lbs. Sadly I gained it back over the last 20 years. I came back to WW in January, and I’m excited to get healthy again and use this tool to help me get there!
Hi Cathy! I just started WW last week and I’ve also lost 4lbs🎉 I’ve never done WW before, but always heard so many good things about it. I’m excited to lose more and see where it goes! I have about 70lbs to lose😬
So glad u are sharing your WW journey. I am lifetime and have gained 14 lbs back so you have inspired me to track everyday and get back on board. Thanks for the inspiration.
Hi there. I recently lost 60 pounds counting calories. Unfortunately I got lazy and put back on 10 pounds. Watching you, I'm gonna start again. I'd like to loose 50 more pounds. I'm back on the wagon, wish me luck.
Good for you Cathy on the 4 pounds. I'm with you, trying to lose 25 pounds by May 5th, cruise day, ha ha I never gained weight on any cruise, I usually lose weight because of so much walking! Protein is SO important, Keep up the good work!
So glad I found you,I'm making you my partner. I'm 70 and having health issues so I'm really motivated. I need to lose 50 pounds and I need your videos.
So happy to have found your channel. I’m going to re join WW will need a lot of help to understand the program, it has changed over the years. I’m 57 and would love to loose 20lbs. Looking forward to watching your channel!
Congratulations on your 4 lb weight loss! Gosh I know how hard that is and how inspiring it is too - so happy for you! I managed a pound loss this week and I’m happy about that because I was eating kinda haphazardly - we’ve been renovating since Boxing Day and I was just grabbing food to keep me going. Love the sound of your quinoa bowl. Sounds like something I’d enjoy too. Have a great week Cathy 😊
Congratulations. I’ve been on my current journey since July. My health is much better. Seeing and feeling the results is awesome!, I have done weight watchers many times and when I stay on track it works. Currently counting calories and it is working for me this time. Best of luck!
Congratulations on your loss Cathy! I've been on WW on and off since 2017. I lost 55 the first time and gained 42 back during COVID. I'm recommitted since October of 22 and I'm down 37. WW has taught me how to eat the right portions and to be more balanced. It's not all or nothing. Just continue on and never give up and you will reach your goal. I'm rooting for you and taking the journey with you. God Bless.
Hi Cathy, I also started WW after years of trying to diet on my own with very little success! Like you, I'm also already losing weight and I feel so much better. This does feel like a long-term strategy, more so than other things I've tried. Fingers crossed.
Congratulations! You're doing great. Make sure you rinse the quinoa before you cook it. I cooked it the for first time and forgot to rinse it and it had kind of a metallic taste to it.
I'm mostly using WW for the food plan, accountability and Connect. Restarted this month. I recently started physical therapy for my knee. I will need to continue doing the exercises or some sort of movement even when I'm done. So both food and movement need to become a lifestyle for me. I think movement will be the most difficult for me. This is probably the 7th time I've joined WW. Almost reached goal in the late 80s going to meetings and tracking on paper by food categories (each category had a maximum number of servings, fruit, vegetables, protein, dairy, bread/starch, oil). I'll be interested on how your meetings go. I'm online only, although I was attending meetings in late 2019/early 2020. I didn't care for the Zoom meetings that started in 2020.
Well done Cathy, I'm on Jane Plan and work out with fabulous 50's [I'm 67] I lost 3.5 lb. I'm so excited to watch your next weight loss video and hear all your tips and tricks, they really help ❤
I’ve just signed up to WW on line. There was a good discount as well so that helped me decide. It’s £10 per month for six months. Not bad and I’m truly desperate to lose weight. Thanks Cathy. 😃👍
Congrats Cathy! I weighed myself this week and lost 0.6lbs from the last time I weighed myself in December. I don't weigh myself very often so I was shocked. You are going to do fantastic! 💞
Thank you and congratulations to you on your loss!! It's so hard to lose weight with the holidays and then the January blahs! Stay warm, we are having a blizzard today. (Not the DQ kind! LOL)
So happy for you Cathy. My first week on my diet I lost 2 pounds. I think on the weight watchers program you definitely can work your life around it. My family has been in the fast-food business. So, I have had an endless supply to. Hamburgers, coke and soft serve ice cream. I started working there at the age of thirteen. Retired at the age of 55. I have had a battle with food and the scale all my life. I think the only diet I missed in my life was Jenny Craig. Always looking forward to your videos. I am sure hoping for a loss for all of us that are trying to lose.
Last week I had a chiro appointment and wore the jeans I haven't been able to fit into for years. The first thing my chiro said was that I'd lost a lot of weight and he actually told me he was very proud of me....what a positive reinforcement that was! When someone notices your weight loss and gives you a compliment and encouragement it really motivates you to keep on going with your diet plan....Good for you Cathy for your 4 lb loss!!! Way to go!! I look forward to following you on your journey!! Keep up the good work, you'll get there!! Sending lots of encouragement from Vancouver BC!!
Congratulations! I'm so happy for your success and hope the your whole year continues on this path. Your smile talking about this new program just warmed my heart! I'm keeping positive thoughts and well wishes directed to you!
I am new to your channel! Trying to transition from Keto/low carb to just a healthy relationship with food. Keto helped me loose close to 90 lbs, and like others, when Covid hit, I gained back about 25. Despite my efforts, I have not been able to loose 1 lb over the last couple of months. I will always be grateful for what keto did for me, but I feel called to incorporate more variety into my nutrition. You have such a peaceful yet motivating spirit! I look forward to joining you and your community on our journey to better health! ❤
I read this twice it is exactly where I am 76 and I lost 66 lbs last year. I could stay on no. Carbs for ever and gained 24 lbs back after having covid I was so week I had to eat some carbs. I been doing WW for two months and I lost 11 lbs. I feel better I enjoy my food bit I feel guilty eating a bowl of cereal. But then I weighs and I gained 5 lbs I've been so bummed. Then I been reading others story and I think our body are going to have to adjust to the new way of eating I Havant gained extra so well see
I joined WW yesterday and love how easy it is. I scanned my favorite food items and prepared an eating plan for the next few days. And I was searching for a RUclipsr who's over 50 yrs old, so I can stay motivated, because losing weight at over 50 is no joke. P.S. My goal is 25 pounds.
@@StyleWithCathy We both got this! I just watched your newest video from last week and saw a lot of negative comments regarding your weight loss journey. If it gets too much, cut the comments off, because you don't need extra stress and negativity 🌻❤️.
Hi Cathy. I had covid. My husband had a quadruple bypass no heart issues just a random check. Mine was fine. He losy 45 pounds after surgery. I HOWEVER am on a 40 lb loss journey
Congratulations on week one!! I am happy to see your loss and I am glad to learn more about Weight Watchers. It sounds incredibly flexible. Can’t weight for week two.
Hi Cathy,,,I believe you will succeed because I feel your mind in is the right place..I too am on a healthy life style journey..Good luck to all of us.
Wow, congratulations Cathy! Maybe you will be my inspiration. I did WW many years ago and it really does work as long as you stick to it (like you said). I used to fill out the food tracker forms but with tracking your food on an app sounds so convenient. Keep up the good work!
Congratulations! How exciting to have a great success the first week. I’m been on a weight loss journey for almost 8 months and am about 20lbs away from my goal weight. Changing the quality of our food has been a huge help. After a few trips to Europe last year, our eyes were opened as to the quality of ingredients and humble dishes. Not a lot of processed food there. Although, KFC seems to be popping up all over Portugal! Can’t imagine eating there when I could get a simple, delicious dinner at a local restaurant for less money! Keep up the good work!❤
I’m so excited for you! Good job on the weight loss, but even more…congrats on the mind change. I totally can relate to that moment when things just click mentally.
Good for you Cathy. Glad to see your motivation come back. I started on Core program but didn’t have adequate computer operating system to access to an app or personal support of my local WWStudio. So I switched to Premium. You can do this!
Back in 2002 I lost 40 pounds with Weight Watchers and I have recently joined again with 25 pounds to lose. I am glad I found this channel……we can do this together.
Hoping everything goes well with your weight loss and excited that you are sharing your journey with us. I am also working towards losing weight. I started at the end of November seems to be ups and downs but going well as a whole.
Cathy, I am age 60+ and 1.5 weeks in on WW and love the flexibility of the program. So far, going fair for me. I need all the motivation that I can get to hang in there so your videos are much appreciated. Don't give up!
Congrats on your weight loss. I'm going to be following along on your journey as I take a similar journey of my own. Due to a number of medical conditions it was recommended that I use Keto and Intermittent Fasting. As I've learned more about these two systems I've also realized that they are very different between men and women. So, ... I'll be doing a modified Keto/IF. What I'll be doing probably won't make a lot of sense to you or your viewers but if anyone is curious about my take on things don't hesitate to ask. I've got a number of RUclips videos I can reference. And, if I can ever get a hold of the book Fast Like a Girl then I can also give you my take on that. As always, looking forward to your videos over the month and your insights at the end month recap.
Great job, Cathy! It really is a mindset change. It's really hard to know which foods are healthy because as you said you grew up with the food pyramid, same as I did. I'm glad you are off to a great start and wish you the best!
Hooray for a win! So happy for you. Have been using my treadmill to get my steps in this winter. Have perfected walking and watching RUclips at the same time. I would love to know more about how to use quinoa in a salad or casserole.
Well, if ww run it like this, meaning no support groups, I don't need them. I went back in the day talking about the late 90s for about 4 weeks and once I learned the program and learned the points of my foods, I started weighed myself weekly. I would share it with my friends, and they would lose weight along with me for free, so I guess this is the reason why they changed the program because it was too easy to duplicate and that was not bringing profits for ww. You can eat at mc Donald's every day if you want, I did! just stay within your points! I don't suggest that you do that but if that's who you are then do it and you will lose weight. I Never met anyone who really followed this program who didn't get to their goal! If you didn't lose weight, it wasn't hard to figure out why, you must track!!!! that's the key!
Congratulations on your weight loss!!!! I’m so glad the WW plan was changed. I actually GAINED weight on the previous plan. Before that I was on Blue and lost 50 lbs! The current plan is similar to the Blue Plan. I’ve started back to losing.
Hi Cathy, I'm 68 and have toted 35 extra pounds for years! Tried low-carb, low calorie with no success. I've been on WW core for two weeks now and I feel its changing how I eat and hopefully I'll lose weight. I love the app and have used many of the recipies (I love to cook which is part of the reason I'm overweight!!) Good luck to you. I've subscribed 🙂
Thank you for explaining the program. My husband and i will be starting this together in February. He has 100 lbs to loose and I have 40lbs to loose. This program seems more flexible than a starvation diet.
Dear Cathy, I truly wish you success and much happiness in this journey you're on! - Stick to the Produce aisles in your Supermarket 👌 avoid McDonald's and other such Fast Food places like the plague (!!!!!) You're in search of GOOD HEALTH and more, you'll find health in enjoying natural "real foods" like delicious colourful fruits and vegetables and Wholegrain starches, that are nourishing and will help you to feel satiated (in a healthy way). It doesn't matter if processed foods and such like are permitted in your Points Cathy, ask yourself if, the things you're eating are, natural-un-proccessed and will contribute to lasting good health. It's more than calories, it's more important to ask if the calories come from processed stuffs? Or, from enjoying an abundance of health promoting real foods. 💐 🌹

I joined 5 weeks ago and have lost 12 pounds!! The program is working for me.
Hang in there! I started WW in May and have lost 56 lbs. It works! Best wishes!!!!

Good for you, Cathy. I started last May. I have never felt like I was on a diet. I have lost 40 pounds and never felt like I was denied anything.
That is awesome!
I just rejoined Monday. Please do more videos in Weight Watchers. Need all the support I can get! 🎉
You got this!
Well done Cathy and everyone else who is on the same journey. I have just begun mine. Love L🌺🌺

Thank you! You too!
I started the new ww last Monday! Week one down 5.2 lbs! Not bad!
That’s awesome!
Wow, that's great. Good job!!!

That is a great week! I’m starting it tomorrow and so excited about this new program 🙌🏻

Today is my 1st day on plan.
Congratulations! You're doing great.
Make sure you rinse the quinoa before you cook it. I cooked it the for first time and forgot to rinse it and it had kind of a metallic taste to it.

Wonderful!
I was over weight until I turned 44, I went on WW and lost 23kg. I’m now 52 and have put 6 kg back on. You have encouraged me to start up again.
LOL)
@@StyleWithCathy Thanks :) Oh no, that sucks. So far our weather has been okay but most of December was like -30 or colder.
Congratulations! That's great!
Thank you so much 😀
So happy for you Cathy.
Congrats on your 2lb loss!! Keep up the good work!
Congrats Cathy!!! My week has not been so successful, time to take stock again. Have a good week.
You can do it!
@@StyleWithCathy Thanks, just a rough day and I'm just not feeling it.
Thank you! ❤️
Congratulations 🎊🎉
Congratulations! I'm so happy for your success and hope the your whole year continues on this path. Your smile talking about this new program just warmed my heart! I'm keeping positive thoughts and well wishes directed to you!
Thank you so much!
Happy to have you here!
Then I been reading others story and I think our body are going to have to adjust to the new way of eating I Havant gained extra so well see
I started Core plan & really like it
I hope the plan works for you. Keep the recipes you love somewhere safe.
Awesome for you!!!!
Thank you!!
You got this!
I'm sorry to hear about your Covid and hubby's heart surgery. I do hope that you are both on the road to recovery! 💖
Congratulations on week one!! I am happy to see your loss and I am glad to learn more about Weight Watchers. It sounds incredibly flexible. Can’t weight for week two.
Congratulations Cathy. You are on your way!!
Thank you so much!
Thanks for the detailed review of the program. It was helpful.
You're welcome!
You had a great week! Thank you for this video. They are so helpful ❤
True for me on the protein. I do much better if I get enough protein to help with satiety. I allow myself 1 diet Coke a day too.
Hi Cathy, thanks for this video. I've been thinking of joining and you've convinced me to do so. I would love to join you on this journey.
Happy to have your company!
Wishing you all the best!
Thank you!!
This is great information. Love watching!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I’m 53 and am started WW today. I would love to lose 30 lbs
What a great start to the new year!! TFS ❤️
Happy new year!!
Thanks so much for this video. It was really helpful, and I am now going to take the plunge and register on WW!
Glad it was helpful!
Good Luck to you! I just started. Today was day 3. I also have 50+ pounds to lose. So far, I’m loving it.
You got this!
Keep up the good work!❤
Thank you!
I’m so excited for you! Good job on the weight loss, but even more…congrats on the mind change. I totally can relate to that moment when things just click mentally.
Thank you!
Thank you Cathy! I just started WW this week and am still figuring out how much to eat. Love the 0 pt foods. Looking forward to more tips. :-)
Good for you Cathy. Glad to see your motivation come back. I started on Core program but didn’t have adequate computer operating system to access to an app or personal support of my local WWStudio. So I switched to Premium. You can do this!
Thank you! 🥰
❤👍 way to go Cathy!
Thank you! 😊
Back in 2002 I lost 40 pounds with Weight Watchers and I have recently joined again with 25 pounds to lose. I am glad I found this channel……we can do this together.
Good luck to you!
Hoping everything goes well with your weight loss and excited that you are sharing your journey with us. I am also working towards losing weight. I started at the end of November seems to be ups and downs but going well as a whole.
Awesome!
Cathy, I am age 60+ and 1.5 weeks in on WW and love the flexibility of the program. So far, going fair for me. I need all the motivation that I can get to hang in there so your videos are much appreciated. Don't give up!
Thank you! 🥰
Thank you!
Hooray for a win! So happy for you. Have been using my treadmill to get my steps in this winter. Have perfected walking and watching RUclips at the same time. I would love to know more about how to use quinoa in a salad or casserole.
Great job!
Great Video! Thank you and God Bless you on your journey! We can't wait to celebrate with you.
Thank you so much!
Well that's good news! Congratulations! 🎉
Thank you!!
Congratulations on your weight loss!!!! I’m so glad the WW plan was changed. I actually GAINED weight on the previous plan. Before that I was on Blue and lost 50 lbs! The current plan is similar to the Blue Plan. I’ve started back to losing.
Yes, I am happy that WW is back to basics too!
Thank you and good luck!
🎉😊❤ You go girl. I’m following the Livvy method. Lost 30 and planning on another 30.
Great job!
Happy New Year💗rooting for you💗
Happy new year!! Thank you!
Thank you for explaining the program. My husband and i will be starting this together in February. He has 100 lbs to loose and I have 40lbs to loose. This program seems more flexible than a starvation diet.
It really is back to basics, I love it. Good luck to you both!
Thx for this much needed video‼️‼️
Happy to help! 😊
Looks super good. The dark green of the broccoli makes it a pretty meal.
I just joined today!
