Shade seems too large . Love the style with the very beautifully painted lamp. Perhaps raising the shade up with a “harp”.
I think you're right it's a little bit too big
Agreed, it seems just a tad bit too large. Too bad. It was perfect for the lamp otherwise.
I agree, either a larger harp, or a smaller shade xx
I think I would also touch up the gold, perhaps with rub n buff
I agree, to big, but I think that the shape is good
The lamp is out of this world! That blue is breathtaking!
Thank you!!!
I think the lamp shade is too large for the lamp. But, I love both of them. You are so creative.
Thank you! I can agree
Everything turned out beautifully art work is stunning now. Lamp is gorgeous with the paint color the gold could be toned down for the aged look. You always inspired creativity in me when you do these flips. Have a wonderful week.
Thank you so much! I am so glad I could inspire you
The lamp looks so much better painted blue and the lampshade goes perfectly!! Adding the frames to the prints really dresses them up!!
Thanks so much! 😊
Framing the art makes such a difference! Love that pale blue you used, very nice vignette.
Thanks so much!
Great finds! I have a lamp like that red one, from 1940s, inherited it when my aunt passed. It has a big ruby knob on the hasp to hold the shade which is just like your shade! And oh those beautiful pictures! Priceless! Enjoying the beautiful background music! Thanks for sharing with us! Hugs!
Thank you for sharing that Susan! I can totally picture it
I love the shape of the shade but I think it over-powers the lamp.
I think it might be too big
I don't care for the lamp; it's just not my taste. I think it looks outdated and the shade looks too big for it. Just my opinion 😊 I love your videos though. You inspire me so much and I learn so much watching you. I just opened my own vendor booth so your ideas really help!
Fair enough! Yay for opening your own booth!
GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE! i love watching your video and sipping my morning coffee
WOW!! Framing those pictures made a huge difference!! I think the lampshade goes perfect with the lamp you painted!! Not my style but I can appreciate it!!🥰
I totally agree!
They look amazing, it surprised me at how good the looked with frames
I love how painting the corbels brings out the design 👍💜
I think the lamp came out absolutely adorable! Very feminine.
My favorites are the walls shelves they are beautiful. The lamp would be beautiful done in the same way. The shade goes well adding a tassel type ribbon to the bottom of the shade could add a french look. Great video! 😃
I love the music-like a period movie. Of course, just adore your husband as well. Just the right amount of snark humor. Elizabeth. PS the lamp and shade belong together.
Thank you Elizabeth
The lamp looks fabulous and the lamp shade is perfect!!! That was a god wink moment. Vintage is definitely trending!!!
Thank you Paula! I agree
Oh My! They look beautiful! Thanks for sharing your flip ideas, Cory 💙
Glad you like them! Thank you Gina!
@@DesertDIY you’re so welcome 🤗
Shade style does go with the lamp but is a little on the large side. I love your up cycles. Thank you for your ideas x
I love that your husband helps. It’s such team work. His frames really look fabulous! Your creativity is phenomenal❣️
Thank you so much!
I love the way you put everything together. It all goes so well with the theme The shade does look a little bit big but acceptable
Thank you Patricia. I agree
The way you painted that lamp made so much of a difference but that lampshade, I believe, is too big for the lamp.
Thank you I agree
How beautiful is everything! I love the new looks. :)
I think you did a great job on everything. Because the lamps “ fussiness” isn’t my thing I probably would have painted over the center pic and done a more modern transfer over the top. ( I realize most people are gasping). The shade seems fine but large. the corbels flipped over is genius! I’m going to copy that for sure
Thank you! I understand the desire to modernize it. That's the beauty of art, you can do it how you want to and follow your instincts. I bet you can find a lamp like this near you some day to put a transfer in. I think that would look cool
Diff shade, in my humble opinion. Love love the blue fix on item
Everything was beautiful
All items were great. I would love to see them staged in your booth and kind of how much you make, Love me my French decor!
Great idea!! Thank you
I love the lamp and shade. Looks beautiful as a set.
Awesome finds cory! I have learned to look at things so differently from your flips. This group was beautiful. I really wished i had better good wills in my area. Keep on, keepin on!
That makes me so happy to hear Dar. Yay!
I love everything you do! Everything you touch is magically transformed! You asked our opinion about the lamp shade: I personally feel like the lamp shade you put on the lamp is perfect! ❤
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you love it. You are too kind
I love French country or Victorian! Love the like corbel looking shelfs and planters.. I've collected quite a few to add under art, into my gallery wall, or to just sit here and there on a shelf. My lamp hoarding heart loved the lamp with the beautiful picture on it❤ The blue is beautiful, the shade works great!! The frames turned out very nice on the art. Ohhh Wow.. love what you did with the little shelves!! Definitely going to grab some of that paint and try it on one of my pieces.. so pretty!! It all turned out so good!! I would decorate with that vignette in my home😊 You have such a creative mind.. thanks for sharing your ideas and creativity with us!
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you loved it
What a great difference the frames made on the pictures, so beautiful! Love how the gorgeous lamp turned out! The lamp shade is perfect! Loved the two things( couldn’t think what they were called), are very elegant! The vase is stunning!❤️

Awesome
The corbels would be beautiful as bookends. Love the gold “distressing”.
Great idea! Thank you
So beautiful! Best DIY I've seen in a long time! Very nice work!
Wow, thank you! That means so much to us!
Loved love love the reverse distress. Trying that one a mirror soon for my RV! Thanks for the inspiration!!
How cool!
I love the color of the liquid leaf gold, I believe the lamp gold would look better that color!
I really love you doing the videos like this!!!
Thank you so much!
Love everything you did in this video 🤗
Love it Cory, you did fantastic, love the color and the shade you gave to the lamp. Cheers Chica

Everything is absolutely beautiful Cory ❤🥰💝
Thank you Sally
Everything looks beautiful
Thank you
You did a beautiful job with everything.❤
Thank you!
I like the lampshade with it.
Lamp shade is a smidge to long. Other wise all is perfect.😊
I agree. Maybe too wide too
I look forward to your posts, I wish I lived in America your goodwill outlets are so much cheaper than our English charity shops.
The pictures are beautiful and the blue colour you used is gorgeous ❤
Thank you so much!
Everything beautifully! ❤❤
Thank you!
Wow, I loved the corbel shelves styled upside down!
Thank you Terri! I'm glad you liked it!
Love the blue! Those corbel pieces are beautiful!❤
Thank you so much!
Stunning. Love the painted lamp. I'm going to do that.
Wonderful! You'll love it
You are brilliant ❤
Good to see you smiling Bri. Everything sounds like it’s going well! Praise God!
Sooooo beautiful WOW
Lamp is perfect!
Every thing is so beautiful ..
Wow thank you
I like the blue lamp.
hi, how much for those corbels and the lamp? i checked your amazon site but there's no French Collection. Also, how will I know when you reply? Great stuff!
The lamp shade is nice, but it's too large for the lamp. I love French country. This is my first time watching. 👍❤️
These flips were so beautiful…the framing just elevated those two prints & the lamp is gorgeous in French blue! I absolutely love the shape of the shade with lamp 😍…though it might be a teeny bit big? What a lovely collection you made!
Wow that reverse distressing came out amazing! It all looks so amazing!
Thanks so much! 😊
@@DesertDIY I want to try the reverse distressing on a mirror I have, I am super nervous!
I’ve had my eye out for some of those corbels to use as bookends. If you put the flat top down.❤
Great idea
I think the color and shape/design of the lampshade is great, but it's just a little too large. It's covering up too much of the lamp.
Absolutely love the bird, metal candleholder!! Great find!
Yay! Thank you
The lamp shade is perfect with the lamp!
Thank you!
Beautiful lamp shade is perfect 🤩
Thank you!
Love love looooove the corbels with your "reverse" distress technique. They look gorgeous! 😍 ❤❤❤
Shade is to large for the lamp. Try maybe a linen shade or a pleated shade. Everything else was beautiful.
So what you said at the end of this video look at what you have and see if you can change it up …,so when we start painting the rooms white, I went in my storage room and I looked at some things that I could swap in and out in the dining room, the accent color the color that makes it pop is the sage green that I painted a cabinet that my brother made me about 30 years ago The room is white. The cabinet takes a wall & . The facing of the trim is black so I was in the storage and I found this shelf that used to be. I think home interior had a little cut inside for the plate so I guess it held a plate like a plate holder shelf so I thought let me do it a small light sanding and then spray paint it black mat or flat from Rustoleum then I scuffed it up a little bit and I put it on the wall and I found in my mothers things. These two white plates that are white but with A black trim and they’re that heavy iron stone type plate I put them on the wall with that black shelf and they’re very pretty, Son said looks good. I said I think so too and it means a lot to me because they were my mom’s plates ❤
I think you should go back to the lamp and do some reverse distressing to match the corbels, especially around the center art and base where you outlined with your brush. It would look better if you somewhat mimic the original trim in those areas rather than straight brush lines.
I think the shape of the lampshade is perfect but just a little too large, but the colour is gorgeous! The Frames came out so well!
Lamp is beautiful love the shade
Thank you
Shade too big. Use more streamlined shape so we focus on the beautiful lamp body
Shade is too big, and maybe more of a cream color, not the stark white, or maybe a gold shade with a french transfer in a toile pattern in black, maybe with sheep on
Hi Cory! Amazing makeovers as usual! To answer your question on the lamp, I love the shade it goes perfect! Just a suggestion but not necessary, you could rub n buff the gold parts to tone down the gold just a hair, but it's fine the way it is. The reverse distressing technique you did on the wall shelves really did turn out stunning! I do the same technique on alot of my makeovers also, I love the effect it gives! It really makes the details stand out! (But it's also called dry brushing I think?) And your new shirt looks so cute on you! :-)
Thank you so much! Great suggestions
Love the blue on the lamp but the lamp shade is too large and taking away the beauty of the lamp.
The lamp is so pretty! I love the blue!
Me too! Thank you
I would change the lampshade. The scale isn’t right for the lamp
Shade is too big for the lamp. Both are beautiful…but not together. I had a lamp similar to yours. Pretty
The lampshade is too big I think, but it would have been easier to deside if we’d seen it in the “right “ angel, and not so from above .
I think the lamp is gorgeous and the shade was perfect in my opinion.
I love everything! Best vignette ever!❤
Wow thank you so much!
I love the way the lamp came out.But I think the lamp shakes a little bit big for it
Beautiful
The lampshade looks really good on the lamp I'm so glad you painted the lamp that pretty blue
I would do some gold on the band at the neck and near the bottom maybe with gold leaf to get the real bright gold like on the side handles. The shade is too big also.
I would rub and buff the gold on the lamp to matte it down a bit. And smaller shade! 😊
Lamp and shade look great!
Thank you!
Lamp shade doesn't work in my opinion. The color on the lamp works
