you will get better, change will not happen automatically. It took me three good years to start drawing decently, but the thing is even if i draw decently i will constantly get better and better because you have to practice on your art skills ( Or any skills for the matter). People have told me many times: you are not drawing right, do this way, do that way, but honestly there is no right way of doing art. making art yourself and not being taught is the best way to learn something (if that makes any sense lol). And you may not like your art right now but, dreams start small.. you cant just think about the bigger things, you take small steps. You will get frustrated with yourself and ,will most likely, give up. And by the way, this helped me alot, just look at a picture and try to memorize it and then draw it. It helped me but like i said, all people have different ways.

God, I adore everything about your art, Skailla :) It blows me away the effort you go to to create a single shot... Which makes me appreciate the animation you made for Blue Blood (If I remember correctly :D) even more ^^ The expressions are always so perfect. They capture the feeling so well. I miss that in 2D animations :S The only 3D animation film I absolutely loved (and glad to see you did too once seeing it) recently was Rango. (Well... Specifically, the only 3D animation film in which I think it wouldn't have been better in 2D XD) The only other 3D animation films I don't mind are stop-motion type stuff :D Basically stuff by Aardman :3 I don't think 3D is bad... It can be great. I just think 2D can be taken anywhere you like while with 3D it's harder and usually less effective. Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs was awesome for keeping the 2D soul in a 3D space :) But yeah, I'm gonna stop ranting now :) Awesome work, Skailla :D
