- We met Andrew by London Bridge begging outside a supermarket with his friend. Andrew has been homeless for a few months after his partner had a miscarriage and their relationship fell apart which led to him giving up and turning to alcohol.
Andrew told us about his quality of life before he became homeless where he had a good job and had nice cars and clothes and now he is homeless.
It was touching to hear Andrew say that the kindest people he ever met in his life was amongst the homeless.

Homelessness is a growing issue for the UK with more than 300,000 people living on the streets. Many of these people don't even make it onto the official figures.
The Unseen is an organisation we set up to give Homeless people a platform to have their stories and their struggles heard. We also want everyday people to have an opportunity to understand what leads a person into being Homeless. We at the The Unseen believe that everybody has a responsibility to help the unfortunate.
We want employers and regular people to support the homeless towards getting back into work and off the streets.
We hope their stories can touch the hearts of many.
Living on the street is no way to live.

UPDATE 13.07.21
After visiting the location many times we have finally managed to find Andrew and get back in touch with him. He said some people on the street even recognised him from RUclips and gave him money to help him. He said the only help he needs right now is a JOB in London and Psychological help. If there's anyone that can help with anything then please email us at theunseen107@gmail.com. You can also email Andrew at

When you get scared of your friends seeing you homeless, just know you never had real friends...wishing him all the best
For real.
Actually. You are so right
THEY WERE FAKE FRIENDS.
Exactly. If anything REAL FRIENDS would be the first to help😳🤦🏾♀️
Facts. That’s what I was about to comment
Sad thing is when these homeless people die, some actually have family who will spend loads of money for their funeral but fail to help them when they were alive.
The irony of life
While this comment looks good on the surface you need to realize that you can’t help everyone. This guy quit on life and that’s why he’s homeless! If you listen to his story he’s telling you that he left everything! When he’s ready to put down his pride he won’t be homeless! He’s way too intelligent to be in his predicament but it’s what he chose! Not wasting money on somebody that doesn’t want to help themself! Don’t feel! THINK!
@@smorgan4519 you have a point, but my comment was not pointing out specifically at the person involved but every other homeless person who needs help
@@Jollofslayer I agree and I always keep in mind that I’m just a finger snap away from being homeless also no matter what my status in life is. I’m only speaking because I’m the person that wants to help everyone but the sad reality is that I found out that you just can’t! Sometimes that money has to go
to the funeral...
@@smorgan4519 You see, you don't need a reason to help someone. I have an older brother 30, who is jobless and still lives in my father's house. He hasn't really made any effort to get back on his feet. But it hasn't discouraged me from wanting to help. Yes, sometimes I get mad when he keeps coming to me for money but however, the ultimate help I can give him now is to never give up on him. And find ways to support him so that he wouldn't stay jobless. If anything, I don't want him to be homeless because he could easily have been. No man is an island, we all need companionship, not necessarily money
He broke when his lady had a miscarriage....This video serves as proof that men also suffer when they loose an unborn child 😞.

I was homeless on the streets of London at just 17 years old for about 8 months. Celebrated my 18th birthday on the streets. I met some amazing homeless people who protected me. Im 40 now & doing really well. Sometimes I forget that was me who experienced that, but I've never forgotten the Angels I met within that experience
Were you actually homeless living on the streets, or just like him who actually has a room? I am quite picky abput that word, because there are legitimately homeless people who actually speel on the sidewalks, and we have to respect their pain.
@@univuniveral9713 I didn't have a room. I was actually homeless. I had to queue at homeless food vans with all these homeless men because I wasn't prepared to beg on the streets or work on the streets. I got sick because I barely slept due to fear of getting hurt. Eventually something happened to me & the police helped me out of my situation
@@CaemahdlO I believe you. You are a really strong person to come out of it after so many months. I hope that other people who sleep on a couch at an uncle's house, and their uncle has good bathrooms and a bookshelf, don't tell you they are homeless, because that would be an insult to you. Give any sane and yoiung person a couch at an aunt's place, and that opportunity to read books without paying, and they will thank gtheir dear Lord.

This is the first video I've seen from this channel and interviewer.
As someone who can closely relate to multiple factors in this interview id like to offer my constructive criticism hopefully without offending you as i mean no disrespect. I only wish to help you grow subscriber numbers which can be achieved simply by developing and improving your interviewing technique to a far more palatable viewing experience for a wider range of people as it unfortunately comes across to
"some people" as slightly rushed and disingenuous despite the fact you obviously have a heart of gold helping those less fortunate than yourself by creating this informative channel with only the best of intentions. Todays world needs more individuals like yourself making a difference educating the mainstream about an important issue but in such a clever way they don't even realise they've learned something they didn't previously know. People don’t understand how a person can just leave everything and stop living. Getting up from the bed is almost impossible sometimes. Depression is for real. I know this firsthand. I’m coming to realize it’s something I’ll deal with probably all my life. Understanding how to manage it is very vital. I hope he gets the healing he deserves, my heart sincerely goes out to this man.
Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed."
You don't need to manage depression on your own brother for the rest of your life. You can give it to Jesus. He healed me and he can heal you. He took all of our sin, pain, hurt on the cross because he loves us so much. Call upon His name, let Him reveal Himself to you and let Him set you free. God bless you

tail tails what white person who fed me fuck off you rhodesian supremacist.
@rat tail your misspellings are reflective of your ill - education & evidently your assumption that Zanupf = Zimbabwe.
1. White farmers produced crops for NATIONAL food security, their crops (like any other crops produced by anyone on Zim soil) was to feed the nation - that's agriculture.
2. The land on which the whites (or anyone) is farming on in any country, belongs to the natives of that said land. People can farm side by side as remaining white farmers are happily & successfully doing currently in Zimbabwe.
BUT it now becomes an issue when people with your superiority / supremacy mentality or complex feel entitled to the land (that's historically not even yours) to abuse & oppress the natives, treating them like slaves ON TOP OF privately owning hectares upon hectares of multiple areas of land across the country without the vision or even desire to initiate cooperations with locals to teach & share skills so that the agriculture expertise is shared "as Zimbabweans" to empower the future of the country.
But alas, You're too greedy & entitled to do that. You prefer to keep "the locals" reliant on your so called white skin "expertise."
That's the problem.
Let's pray for these people that are lost and struggling... it's hard out here, protect them please Jesus!!
Amen
This actually broke me to hear his cry his pain and his heartbreak
You're kind-hearted. May God bless you 🙏
God Bless this man. Very well spoken and handsome. Prayers.
He's spiritually awakened i can see he is very much intelligent.
What does it mean to be "spiritually awakened" my little prospect???
@@Krishna-Gopala-Das he's not judgemental despite what others have done to him.He would have chosen to be negative towards others in such a situation but he has positive vibe in him.
I'm so heartbroken my brother.
It's hard to lose a child..and we don't know how others deal with it. Especially men, I hope he gets therapy and some assistance to get back on his feet..
I know the feeling of losing a child and if you believe in the almighty you can lean on him. You must open your heart first.
@@Jazzie654 i agree with you, but sometimes everybody doesn't get where they're suppose to be overnight, everybody path is not the same, hopefully other ppl that know the way, can pray that the same God that help them, will show mercy & help this man, i've seen ministers goes thru things so bad; that what they've preached to others, they didn't apply it to themselves, but we still encourage them & prayed for them until they finally got it together, hopefully this man will see a better life
It really hurts to lose a child I agree with : he touched my heart. And I know him too.
He also said he lost his mother. When people are incapabke.of dealing with grief themselves anything can happen. I am so saddened by the callous comment of others.
He has rejected himself even before others reject him. Such a painful emotional situation. God heal him.
Depression is no joke
this interview really brought me to tears. we all have so much to be grateful for. i can feel andrews gentle spirit and i pray for him 💜 I’ve donated something small I really hope it helps
Andrew, you will overcome. Concentrate on your mental health and rise back to your old self. Slowly but surely. Good luck.
This man has had a nervous breakdown; I wish him well!
Dammitt !!! This man is broken to his core. We pray for divine restoration for this man.
I can relate to his story....losing a child can break you. It's not about giving up. The emotions you feel are overwhelming. All encompassing.
He is from my country, I wish I had a house , I would take him in. Zimbabweans we are not lazy and we are good pple. Something happened to him and he just need someone who can see him through this and find a job. Unfortunately I live in a room 😭😭😭
I hope he will rise again, leaving your home country is not good, out here you struggle so hard, struggling is a sin,you work like slaves and still if you slip you live on the street,
Yes, I could tell almost instantly he is from Zim, hope he will get help.
Prayers for fellow Zimbabweans in the same situation here 🇿🇼🇿🇼

I really feel for him,,,,when you are good, friends surrounds you...when you go down financially, they all disappear in different directions....so sad
Very true Juliet , I experienced this after mu husband died .
Only my Son and daughter are my real friends .
It's rare to find a TRUE friend
God bless you Andrew, you will rise again.
Drew keep your head up bro. Hit me up if you can. We go back way back. Let's get your life where you want it. Love you brother and God Bless
I'm not trying to be mean or sound rude, I just want to say for those that need to hear: DON'T show people all your personal belongings/savings/capabilities, it might become your own fault when society is turning against you. Also please note: save up money for yourself & by yourself for in case you never know.
I agree with you sis
Thank you
Never give someone a stick to beat you with
Exactly ur not being mean or rude just stating facts for adults
100%... The best lesson l have learnt, do not expose yourself to your jealous friends. They are the one that would destroy you. The friends that always comes to you when you have money are they the one that would leave you, when you don't have any.
he is a gentle man undergoing pain and depression takes away from everything and sometimes it happens ...
This touched me. I have everything that this guy said that he once had and I know that nothing is guaranteed, not even mental health.
Lord I pray 🙏🏾 that this gentleman can get back on his feet.
This channel has shown/taught me of 2 types of homelessness;
Social (due to wrongful arrest and conviction)
Mental (the inability to cope with real life challenges).
We really need to do better with each other. A conversation could really make a difference in both the speakers and the listeners life.
Am really saddened by his lot and I'll say a prayer for him every day. May the good Lord change his situation sooner than soon.
From the very moment I heard his accent I knew he is Zimbabwean, so am i. I feel sorry so see a fellow brother going down the drains. He really needs help. I'm sure he'll rise again. I'm sure he's feeling a little better now for it is not easy to open up like what he just did.
It’s sad to see people like that, may God see him through this difficult period
Amen 🙏
I feel this guy , imagine being a foreigner and homeless 😭😭 and from grace to grass
Therapy is such a necessity..life is not for the faint at heart...
Zim people pls look for him and help.....him I beg you
Somebody please help this man get back on his feet, he has a good heart and so smart
